      If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
      I was hit from behind (total loss) by a COMMERCIAL vehicle insured by State Auto in mid July, 2022. It was a Wednesday. I took my car to the shop the following Monday and it took State Auto nearly one month to get a settlement offer to me. It was expectedly low, so I asked them to try again. The second offer came 9 days later and it was better but still not quite there. This is 2022 and we're still dealing with the BS caused by the lockdowns and for the first time in history, used cars APPRECIATED in value. Anyone who has 2 functioning brain cells would understand all this if they were paying attention, but the two adjusters I was working with just didn't comprehend that I could not be made whole and re-buy my own car for what they offered in today's market... that I lost through NO FAULT OF MY OWN.
      The adjuster and his supervisor BOTH told me, "This will be the final offer and there will be no more negotiations, if you don't like it, take it up with your own insurance company."
      So I did exactly what they told me to do.
      Long story short, my insurance company didn't do any better so I went back to State Auto to accept settlement. A huge fight ensued between State Auto and the shop, State Auto didn't think the storage fees were "fair and reasonable." Funny how THAT works, huh? Their solution was to abandon my vehicle at the shop, make me accept the $500 fine for doing so, and reimburse me later. SHADY! Illegal??? I didn't agree to it!
      The adjuster was super rude to me when I tried to get him to speed things up, then BLAMED ME for delaying the process, when I only did WHAT HE AND HIS SUPERVISOR SAID TO DO. I have audio recordings of ALL of this if anyone wants to hear.
      To add insult to injury, they DEDUCTED almost $1000 in storage fees from my payout. NICE! Thanks so much!
      It's been nearly TWO MONTHS and I still have NO compensation for my loss, LET ALONE a fair one.
      STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

      They are thieves , they raised my rate because somebody else's fault and when I cancelled the policy they kept the money !!!! Don't have direct withdraw from your account , they will take what they want without warning and since you authorized it the bank cant do shit!!!!

      I tried getting a homeowners insurance estimate just moments ago. It was for my son who is closing on his first home in the next few weeks. They wanted to bundle his car insurance with the homeowners insurance. I get that. He is currently on my car insurance policy and the agent was trying to move all of our Car insurance policies to liberty mutual. All I wanted was an insurance quote and if necessary bundle his car insurance. He asked me about my homeowners insurance and prior claims which were none in the past 30 years. He went to research the nearest fire hydrant. He never asked me what the address of the home to be insured was. After a long period on hold I got the opportunity to tell him hes busy researching my home and he needs my sons future home address for insurance purposes. I indicated so far there has been a disconnect between the two of us and I want to move forward or just move on. With that he hung up. He didnt seem to be grasping much of anything and ended the phone call very unprofessionally.I never do a review but felt compelled to do one now. He may be one of many liberty mutual agents but that is my first impression and my last!

      ******************* insurance let me down they never reimburse my deductible /they did not compensate me and I had full coverage/they sent me two medical checks that are out of date and I cannot get them to reissue the checks all of this and I had full coverage and by the police reports the accident were not my fault. But all of this because a negligent agent left a company and did not document the paperwork and pictures I sent

      Worst experience ever. If you want a death row ********************* type of insurance company then you'll fit in fine ,but if you're looking for *************** and Integrity this company has none whatsoever. I have been paying for full coverage insurance $280 per month and my car is wrecked and been wrecked since 07/28/2022 it's 09/05/2022 and my vehicle has yet to be fixed I've done multiple estimates for liberty mutual group as I was asked , still nothing moved with the claim. I'm emotionally distressed from this Im stressed out about this .I've never been bullied by a company before they're extorting me because I'm paying for coverage and I'm still riding around in a wrecked vehicle that's covered by liberty mutual group. I have record of all of the emails and estimates. This is not fair . If you can find another insurance company to goto I'd advise you to do so .

      Really bad company. Got hit from someone on June , car still at the dealership for fixing almost 3 months now call the company, the adjuster for the case , no one fix the problem , this worker claim on the other worker .. not recommend to anyone to used this company

      Absolutely junk. Adjusters tell you that contractors are charging to much so they wont pay claim, but wont get you to a contractor that will do it for their price that they will pay. Basically paying 40% of what the damages are, leaving me about $15,000 short of the needed funds to repair my home. Anyone looking to use them should by their insurance from a **** broker in the back of a truck stop, they would be more reputable!!! Adjuster flat out lie to you, then double talk. Wont return email or calls, these are not the people you want to rely on in a time of need. Feel free to email me if you want more details!! Seant2218 at yahoo.Com Ill be filing complaint with bbb, The insurance commissioner, and talking to local media to see if they want to do a story about how I got screwed on my insurance coverage on my home.

      I am extremely disappointed in this company and would NOT recommend them to anyone. We filed a claim under our homeowners insurance back in June, and we are still waiting for work to be done. I will spare the details of our claim, but basically, our contractors estimate was nearly 5x higher than Safecos adjusters estimate for the repair costs. We were told that our claim would have to go under further review (which is understandable), but after several WEEKS of NO communication, we learned that our claim was lost, but not forgotten.Our claim was then assigned to an escalation team, and we were assured that everything would be resolved within 1 week. The lady handling our claim spoke with our contractor and told us that she understood why his estimate was so high after reviewing the details. However, because the estimate was over $30,000 - two other managers would need to review and approve everything as well.A week and a half passed with no communication, so we reach out again. At this point, it had been nearly 2 MONTHS since we initially filled the claim. Come to find out, ****** was just looking for a loophole to get out of covering the full cost of the repairs. They claimed that we did not have a cosmetic endorsement in our policy and that they had spoken with our insurance broker to confirm this. We looked through every page of our policy and the phrase cosmetic endorsement is nowhere stated! Furthermore, we spoke with our insurance broker and he said that he had never spoken with Safeco about this!We (my husband, our contractor, AND our insurance broker) have been trying to get ahold of Safeco for the past week to clarify and resolve this issue, but they REFUSE to answer the phone.This entire process has been beyond frustrating.

      Deaing with SAFECO has been the worst experience I have ever had. I am from the east coast and had Liberty Mutual insurance for a few decades. My insurance adjuster ********************* is impossible to get a hold of. Me and my roofing company have left many voice mails, and sent many emails and usually get no response. I am dealing with a roof claim. My roofing company also cannot believe how bad she is. I have explicitly asked to get another adjuster. I had to file a complaint on her just to get her to contact me. She has caused me to miss hours at work, loss of sleep, and now money. I have NEVER, after more than 10 attempts, been able to get her to answer her phone. I have had a few voice mails from her saying she will call me to discuss my claim. I have explicitly given her all of my paperwork and asked to ahve her respond in email. After pleading with ***** to respond, I just got a voicemail from her asking for my claim number. I have had it. Liberty Mutual has gone downhill with regards to their customers having to deal with SAFECO. I have every intent of filing a BBB complaint and doing my best to ensure other customers never have to deal with this. Customers should never have to go through this no matter what the business is.

      Liberty is the worst insurance provider of any of the insurance providers I know of they are extremely unreasonable extremely unethical and extremely unprofessional and are very inconsiderate and do not care at all about their customers I had fallen into a financial emergency and Liberty would not work with me under any circumstances until I set up a payment arrangement and then they breached that arrangement and canceled me without warning I highly advise against using liberty I would not recommend them ever. If I could give liberty zero rating I would in a split second.
