      Less than one star... they ****, they lie, they don't have an office for you to go to to resolve anything. I asked if I owed anything when I canceled and he assured me that I was paid up. I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have an unexpected charge go through, then 10 days after my regular scheduled payment date I get charged. They lie tell you ********.They took almost a year to fix my vehicle when I did need to use my insurance... run away insure with any other company but liberty mutual they are the worst!!!!!!!!!!It made me leave that one star or else there would be none

      I had a fire over a week ago. My kitchen is unusable, my claims adjustor is missing and when I asked For an update I was told my claim and coverage had been determined and payment sent. This is without my knowledge or consent. When calling tonight, they refused to route me to a supervisor and gave me a voicemail. So sad that our Veteran Home Loan company recommended this company. They are a disgrace to our military.

      Our roof sustained damaged during the bomb cyclone on 11/20/24. We had the damage evaluated by 2 roofing companies and filed an insurance claim in the next few days. An adjuster didn't come out to the house until 12/9/24, holding up the start of repairs for over three weeks. All parties agree that a whole new roof is needed and bids ranged from $24-40k. We with the roofer on a $30k roof with a lifetime warranty weeks before the insurance adjuster bothered to get involved despite our opening a claim less than 48 hours after the storm. We have a $5k deductible. But ****** says they will only cover $14k. That's not even low bid minus deductable. That's some imaginary number they pulled directly out of their a** I feel ripped off and I recommend anyone to avoid doing business with them. I took them on based on my lender's recommendation. I'm going to be reaching out to my lender next so they don't recommend them anymore.

      Liberty mutual is an awful company! I had insurance from them. They refused to give me coverage because I didn't have a car for a while and didn't need insurance. They told me that they can insure me until I paid what I owed them, then they said that they were unable to insure me. I shouldn't have owed them anything because I had cancled my policy and they didn't cancle my policy.

      After three years with Liberty Mutual, enduring the frustrating AI and impolite customer service that abruptly ends calls, prompting the dreaded restart of Liberty's interminable touch-tone sequence only to encounter another discourteous representative, I've reached a decision.I would like to say to Liberty Mutual, "You're fired!"We've switched to a new insurance company that costs less, where they are pleased to receive your call. Do yourself a favor: save time and money, and switch while you have the chance!

      It took 52 emails to ******, formal complaints to the **************** Insurance Commisioner, Washington Stae Attorney General, and the BBB before Safeco reversed their decision to assign me 60% liability in my auto accident. The end result was the other driver was assessed 100% liability and I got back the $500 deductable I had paid out of pocket. They refused to review phographic evidence, refused to answer questions, refused to explain the claims process, and lied numerous times.

      I have a claim for hail damage on my roof. They only want to cover about 90% of my roof. They want to repair that part with 9 old shingles in a warehouse and the rest with new shingles. This area is on the front of my home. Homes on my block sell for mid 300s to low 400s. I have been trying to appeal this and it has been 2 months now. The tarp attached to the leaking part of my home and that is also the part they refuse to cover is now coming loose and here comes winter in the *******. Not to mention how pretty my house looks for Christmas with a blue tarp flapping. I stated I did not want my roof looking like a patchwork quilt. We asked to this to go to management and my request was not addressed. They will devalue my home if they do not repair correctly plus do I really want discontinued shingles from a warehouse to fix my home? I may have saved money on the policy but it will cost me in the end. Hail damage, my deductible was double. Read the fine print. Filing a complaint with the Indiana Insurance commissioner and will find new insurance before the next renewal. I am so disappointed with the service. Oh and all of the neighbors around me that also had their roofs replaced, their insurance companies were not Liberty Mutual and did not have this problem. They all wanted to know what insurance company I have. No new customers will come from this incident but I have a lot of good recommendations for when I change companies.Buyer Beware!
