Had an accident, reported immediately. They started off on the ball and reimbursed me because I payed the tow bill. Once my truck hit the body shop that is where the communication and or information stopped. The body shop was excellent with communication. They ended up totaling my truck. They need the truck before a check could be cut. 5 days now and all I get is it is supposed to be picked up today. $80 truck, offered me $66k. Zero lien on the truck. Zero communication from claims advisor and no one else will talk to you. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.Liberty Mutual Group

I feel lied to and scammed. Thank goodness I logged into the portal this morning. The notices of non-renewal were going to the address of the house I sold, not the new address, you know the one the policy resides on. They claim "This non-renewal is the result of an underwriting review. The reason for non-renewal is: - Condition of property: Roof - Algae / mildew / mold / ****"This is wildly inaccurate as there is no presence of such. After spending 6+ hours calling different agents and going through my broker the "underwriters see dark spots in their aerial images." Well after a bit of a heated call they finally provided their sad, small, poor quality shots of the house which show nothing. I literally just came down from the roof while on the phone sending them pictures to prove wrong but they "reviewed them and determined the only course of action to allow them to re-instate my policy is to have a professional come and chemically clean and certify no presence of such on my roof. Yeah, so they want me to spend more money to prove them wrong? and they give me 3 days before they terminate my policy. I don't understand how they can legally perform this type of business when they wont even send someone to come review my appeal in person. I called another agency and unfortunately, the only policy option I have is double the price of my current one. I'm extremely doubtful that they will read this and attempt to remedy so let this be a warning to everyone who thinks of doing business with them, please save yourself and don't. I cannot express the lack of help that any agent there is willing to give as they all seem to not care. Save your money, time, and sanity and do business ANYWHERE else. If I could give ****** and ***** zero starts I would!! Absolutely the worst companies to get insurance through. I do not trust these to get anything done in a timely manner. My home policy has been cancelled for 2 years but they still bill my mortgage company. I have all of my cancellation paperwork in hand but yet they still show I have an active account!! This causes my mortgage company to send out 2 insurance checks which throws my escrow way off and I end up with a ballooned double mortgage payment in December. Good luck getting anywhere on the phone. Its an endless tree of prompts and disconnections. Some people may have had ok experiences with ****** but I have not. Im writing to hopefully save someone this hellish experience. SafeCo is horrible!Liberty Mutual Group

if you have a claim beware. They are very slow in sending an adjuster. fill the claim report wrong. left me18 days with holes in my ceiling, said it was wind damage. lightning struck the tree.2 large holes in ceiling. would never recommend. claim happened in august were going into december and not finished.Liberty Mutual Group

I do not recommend this company for property or auto insurance. I will be canceling all policies with them after a refusal to pay a claim without an adjustor. They based claim denial on a picture, which in no way showed the truth. I tried to get someone to physically see the damage and they didn't even try. It was a simple claim which should have not been denied. Terrible customer service and spoke with a rude person, not willing to do their job. Insurance is too expensive to be treated like this after years of supporting them, that they wouldn't even send someone to look at it. You do not want this company in charge of your mishaps, look elsewhere! Plus their rate are about to skyrocket.Liberty Mutual Group

This review is not about a specific location, rather about Safeco as a company. I allowed ****** to give me a quote on my auto insurance. They were cheaper than my current carrier so I agreed to do a new policy with them. They were supposed to debit $377 or whatever the first month payment was from my checking account. The next day and $4080 was debited from my checking account. They apologized saying the system accidentally took the entire policy amount. Long story short it has been two weeks and I still have not received my $4080 refund, but instead of just putting it back into my checking account, they say they are mailing a check out today which will probably take another week before I receive it. I canceled the policy and took my business elsewhere. They took $4080 out of my account without my consent, and I am still waiting to get it backLiberty Mutual Group

I am deeply concerned about the insurance companies exploiting their customers - **********************. All the insurance companies deserve no stars! My insurance has been going up since I had the coverage. I do not care if people are stealing *** cars as a *** owner. I have plenty of devices that would make it hard for someone to steal my vehicle. But the insurance companies do not care what added features you put on your car because it is easier to upcharge you than you assist your customers in changing laws to stick it to the criminals. You would sue anyone insurance company to transfer money but you will not have someone represent your clients in filing criminal charges. I believe we are being scammed as customers. I wonder how much black people compared to white people are being charge? I wonder how much city people are being charged compared to rural areas between the same state should have same rates no what area you live in. We might find out their are more accidents than *** thefts which in my opinion would not cause rates to go up. After all, our money is being invested on the daily basis so stop the *** This might be a case for class actions lawsuits.Liberty Mutual Group

This is the absolute worst company we have ever dealt with. Someone with this insurance hit my daughter over TEN WEEKS AGO and we are still sitting here with nothing resolved. No adjusters have come to look at the vehicle, no one responds. Theyre trying to say shes got 20% fault when the guy merged without yielding. This is absolutely ridiculous. Shes driving an unsafe vehicle 5 days a week and were afraid that if we make repairs that theyll claim there was no damage. My husband works for an attorney and at this point were ready to let them handle it.Liberty Mutual Group

I am a Widow with a 2013 car . They raised my insurance from about $800 a year to over 1200 !When I switched to a another company they sent me another bill $137.00 because I closed my account early . I had to pay my bank to stop them from taking payments out , ignoring I have a new Insurance ! They sent me a bill paid in full , followed by another asking $137.68 .So I have just been through ***** and willnot stress myself out over this, so I pay them .I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN !!Liberty Mutual Group

CCS *********************** 02062-0607 Re: CCS File No. 05 0108 51516-5-L90C90 According to the State of New ****************************** I did not have automobile insurance coverage on the *** truck from the date it was transferred to ********** on April 3, 2024 until July 5, 2024. I paid Liberty Mutual (hereafter referred to as Liberty) approximately $80.00 per month for coverage on said *** truck. Due to Libertys inaptness regarding this matter, I canceled all automobile policies with them on July 11, 2024. Here is a bill to Liberty Mutual for coverage I paid for but did not have under the laws of the state of **********. The amount is approximate due to the fact that my online account was not accessible to me once I canceled the coverage.$ 808 for 10 months = $ ***** per month times 3 months (April- June) = $242.40 - $105.86 (amount of collection notice) = $136.54 (the amount I have overpaid Liberty Mutual)The amount of $136.54 is the amount Liberty Mutual owes **** was a customer of ********************** since 2005 with no late payments. I am appalled with the customer service of *********************************************.Liberty Mutual Group
