I don't think they deserve any stars. I canceled my policy sent emails 3 to be exact asking them to cancel i had found and got coverage else where. They finally did after ignoring my request for 2month and charging me for it. Now I have them on my credit report for 7yrs and having hard time removing it cause I refuse to pay these ***holes any thing. I will never get insurance thru them again. The worst insurance company i ever dealt withLiberty Mutual Group

1 starI have been a customer of yours, my home was broken into and I had things stolen. Nobody on the team has spoken to me, yet they try to say they did. Id love to hear the recording of my voice. They lie to the state and refuse to pay the coverage that I have. My back door is still not fixed and its becoming winter. ******. They are horrible. They won't cover anything related to the main sewer line in the slab being badly damaged. Always go with a prime insurance company like State Farm.After years and years of having them when mom my finally needs them they won't cover any major repairs. My dad passed away 4 years ago, so my mom is a single retired senior citizen relying on them and they failed. They told her that in order to fix the plumbing problem that will eventually damage the house that it has to literally back up into the house and her being a senior citizen this is a bio hazard and safety concern. So this insurance needs to be put put of business!!!! Now that this claim has been filed and denied my mom can't go find another insurance that will actually cover this.Liberty Mutual Group

My mom, ***** *********, has had her homeowners insurance through ****** for several years. The main sewer line under the concrete slab is badly damaged and needs to be replaced. The toilets have backed up many times because of this. She's unable to flush any toilet paper and the gases from the sewer line are permeating through the house from all of the drains. There are times that it becomes unbearable. She filed a claim with ****** and was told on the phone with the initial representative that called that not only would the slab be covered but also the flooring that would have to be replaced. She was assigned a claim representative who asked, a few times, for pictures of the water damage. She told the claims representative every time that there is no water coming up through the slab and that the problem is the main sewer line. She had estimates done by a flooring company and the plumber but she ultimately decided to go with a contractor to manage everything so that it would be easier on her. The claims representative, once again, asked for pictures of water damage to which my mom explained that there is no water damage. The claims representative emailed her back and explained that the sewer line damage and flooring are not covered on her policy. This doesn't seem fair at all. This damage to the line is causing a biohazard and she found out from someone she knows that their exact problem was covered by their insurance without requiring an endorsement. Because of all of the confusion, she will not be able to get a policy with a better company now that she has had a major claim denied. She's 77 years old and doesn't qualify for any grants for seniors and she can't afford $17,000 in repairs. It is appalling that it's even legal for an insurance company to deny coverage having to do with the sewer line being badly damaged. She has paid thousands of dollars every year for her policy with ****** and now she is stuck continuing to pay thousands of dollars with sub par coverage. I am hoping something can be done with this communication in your hands. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Liberty Mutual Group

Ive been with Liberty Mutual for YEARS for both of my cars and my house and renters over the years and they have gone DOWNHILL fast. No support for their loyal clients and close to impossible to get an actual human on the phone these days. Did not help me when I had a windshield replacement done under their policy that was totally mishandled. They left gaps in the windshield so it rains into the car, it rattles, they damages other parts of the car while installing and they told me I have to pay out of pocket to have it fixed or go back to the guy who did the bad job and have him fix it even though hes had my car for 6 months for a repair that should have been one week and he is not capable of doing this job correctly! Prior to that, merged into a lane at the same time as someone else and did not advocate for me and said they had no skin in the game to fight for me so I had to pay out of pocket for those repairs too. Now I have to pay over $500 for a new windshield because they wont have my back. Im DONE. I cancelled all policies and moved to a different company. What is the point of having insurance that wont cover a job that is so badly done that it will RAIN INSIDE YOUR CAR???Liberty Mutual Group

Tried to cancel my auto policy after moving from Colorado to *******. The 2 cars on the policy were left in Colorado to be sold. 1 sold on Aug 4, 2024 and called to cancel it on policy. Phone number for agent is disconnected. Called Safeco main line and was told agent can only cancel, but we have no way of getting ahold of them although told that they are still in business. After talking with CS, was under the impression they canceled it. 2nd car sold Sept 18, called to cancel entire policy through ****** ***************** Again told only agent could cancel. Explained that I am unable to get ahold of them. Again, was assured ** would take care of it. ****** tried to take a payment out of my bank account on Sept 24. I had already put a stop on bank since they had still been charging me for 1st car. Today, Oct 24, 2024, received a letter from ****** that they are not canceling due to recent catastrophe in our area. (No vehicles insured with ****** and owned by us are in *******, plus policy should be canceled as of Sept 24) I called the agent phone number again, still disconnected. Called ****** **************** number and was told only agent could cancel. I told **************** that we can't get ahold of agent. He put me on music hold and said he was going to call them. After 5 minutes, music stopped but I was still connected, with no one on line. Called back customer service using another phone, with 1st phone still on "hold ". **************** again says only agent can cancel and nothing he could do so hes going to gang up, and did.We're just going around in circles here, never had a claim, had automatic withdrawal, been a customer for over 5 years. ****** **************** leaves much to be desired. I want my policy canceled and to be reimbursed for the over charges. ****** has been an incompetent company.Liberty Mutual Group

I had two policies with Liberty Mutual, both were for car insurance. On June 23, 2024 I cancelled one policy due to rate increase. On August 11, 2024, I cancelled the second policy due to rate increase. When both policies were cancelled, I received a pro-rated return of my policy premiums. On September 19, 2024 Liberty Mutual deducted $17.08 from my checking account without my authorization.On October 19, 2024, I saw that Liberty Mutual had another withdrawal scheduled for Monday October 21, 2024. On Saturday October 19, 2024, I called the 800 number of Liberty Mutual and spent one hour talking to a billing supervisor. This person could not explain why the withdraws were made. I am going to call my financial institution and dispute the validity of these charges and I am going to have to pay $50 to have Liberty Mutual blocked from making future withdraws from my account.Liberty Mutual Group

They are so disgusting with their money. With them for over 3 years and raised the premiums every year and sometimes MIDYEAR. Finally decided to cancel and they CHARGED ME for my unused policy instead of refunding me. I called over a week ago to remove a driver and a vehicle that were no longer in the same household and got a quote. Called a week later when there was still no change made and they suddenly can make the changes but the quote went up a couple hundred for the year because it wasnt completed the week before!! I had told them to complete the change the week prior but they didnt. They were trying to get closer to the payment scheduled date to charge me the full amount with the car/driver that werent in my household anymore. I instantly started shopping around and found a way better insurance. Insane how bad they treated a loyal customer that autopaid every month on time. Will never use them again.Liberty Mutual Group

I recently had a flat tire on the interstate on a Sunday morning on my way to the airport.I have roadside assistance so I contacted them to send someone to change my ******* took an hour for the person to show up and then he wasnt smart enough to lower the spare tire. He gave up and left an hour later.I have been on the side of the interstate for 2 hours with no resolution Finally I called back and told **************** that I needed to get to the airport and to have my vehicle towed so I could get going.I waited another hour and no tow truck.When I called back the lady on the phone said that I had to pay $105 for the tow.I explained that if they had sent a competent person I would not need a tow.She explained that if I didnt pay I would be left on the side of the highway with no help.While I was on my trip I called and explained the situation to the road side assistance office and they said I would be refunded the money for the *******, they are refusing to repay me my $105.I need help in getting my $105 refund and an apology for the terrible serviceLiberty Mutual Group
