Im done with LM. Another 22% increase! Every year ***** % increases. Im 63 and wife is 61, no accidents, no home claims. Nothing! I cant comment on their follow through on claims because we NEVER HAD ONE! They are forcing me to shop for new insurance immediately!Liberty Mutual Group

They did do a rigorous investigation which I do agree is necessary to keep cost down, but they did not look for reasons to not pay out, they were seeking the truth , and came through for my business the way insurance is supposed to, they made a customer for lifeLiberty Mutual Group

My rate went up 37 percent! No accidents no tickets and I pay on time no late missed payments! No warning of a massive jump in price. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Was with them for years. The response I received was you can up your deductible . I rate liberty mutual poor.Liberty Mutual Group

I paid early because the app lead me to believe I could authorize the autopay to take out the money at that moment instead of waiting the other like 12 hours or however much time. Then I was told I was going to have to pay double no matter what, so I canceled the autopay so that it wouldn't end up bouncing, since the money had already come out FOR that expense. Instead of being able to pay any money these next 2 months, I have to pay all $300 of my insurance premium (that goes thru the end of JULY). No other choices, pay through July (this is May) IMMEDIATELY (and to remind you, this is because I PAID IT EARLY WITH A FEATURE I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE WOULDN'T CAUSE THIS PROBLEM) or my policy will end effective end of the month. No other options. I will NEVER use this company again.Liberty Mutual Group

I left Liberty Mutual because they would not insure my house, then raised rates. When I switched, they did NOT put the money back in my checking account. THEY TURNED IT OVER TO THE STATE..OVER $400.00 IN 2023. THEY SURE TOOK IT OUT QUICKLY. NOW A PAIN IN THE A** TO GET IT BACK 90 DAYS.Liberty Mutual Group

This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences Ive had with any companylet alone a home insurance provider. Liberty Mutual confirmed that my home damage was covered, and multiple representativesalong with their own vendorsstated that the water intrusion was not groundwater which. I have already incurred expenses based on their recommendations to identify the root cause: opening my floors and walls (making my main living/sleeping space unlivable for months now).Since then, theyve reversed their decision without explanation, conducted multiple inconclusive inspections, and refused to reimburse me or even allow me access to the most recent inspection report of my own property. Despite repeated outreach, they have completely disregarded my concerns by refusing to address the clear discrepancies in their process and communication.Whats even more alarming is the extent Liberty Mutual has gone to not help its own policyholder. The repeated delays, withholding of information, and failure to provide clear answers show a disturbing pattern of avoidance rather than support. This isnt just mishandlingthis feels intentional.Ive done everything right as a policyholder, and Liberty Mutual has handled this with avoidance, inconsistency, and a total lack of transparency.Liberty Mutual Group

Avoid Safeco Insurance A Liberty Mutual Company If youre considering Safeco Insurance, think twice. Ive paid my premiums, kept my policy up to date, and trusted them to be there when I needed them. But when my vehicle was damaged, they turned their back on me. Despite providing both written and video testimony from my mechanic and body shop clearly stating that the damage was from impact not wear and tear ****** denied my claim, labeling it as normal wear and tear.During the claims process, I had to formally request an inspector to come out. Only then did ****** send a third-party inspector, who barely glanced at my vehicle, spoke to no one onsite, and left without addressing any of the specific damage or evidence provided. They never visited the site of the accident and completely disregarded the statements and video evidence that directly contradicted their denial. When I followed up, they refused to confirm receiving any of the evidence.I was also passed from one adjuster to another, with crucial people conveniently left off communications, creating confusion and dragging out the process. This is classic bad faith behavior from an insurance company that knows pursuing a $5,000 claim isnt worth the cost of legal action. ****** has effectively left me to cover these damages out of pocket, knowing that hiring an attorney would likely cost more than the claim itself.Ive filed a complaint with the *********************************************** but that doesnt change the fact that Safeco is a Liberty Mutual company that clearly does not stand by its customers. If youre looking for an ********************** provider that actually honors its policyholders, do yourself a favor avoid ****** and look elsewhere. Dont learn the hard way like I did.Liberty Mutual Group

There was a hail storm that happened last year. When I filed my claim the inspector stated it was hail damage all around my house except for 2 sides of the roof. I tried to get a different inspector out and they wouldn't even do that. I feel like I've wasted 2 years of monthly payments. My roof still hasnt been fixed and now i might have too sell my home because of the money i wasted paying liberty mutual. Worst company i've ever had.Liberty Mutual Group

I was unfortunately a customer of one of their side companies ****** for car insurance and when my car got hit and my passanger was injured. They stated I didn't I didn't have uninsured insurance when I did and when it was proven that I never declined it they sent me a bill for all the months I wasn't charged for it (Thought I was since that's what I was told by my agent) The bill came to $1800. I tried to reach out and get an itemized bill for the months and to get a break down. Was ignored countlessly then told that they wouldn't be providing an itemized bill. And in no later than 30 days they sent the charge to collection. Still not answering what months were owed since I had the intentions of actually making things right but I know they were overcharging me. A company refusing to give an itemized bill is ridiculous.Liberty Mutual Group
