      Company has poorly trained customer service ***** I have been a member since signing on with Liberty Mutual for my auto insurance in November 2023. It became more expensive so I dropped this policy in April 2025. Since I had been paying my premiums each month, assuming I was paying for the following month, I was looking for a refund and was told by one of their representatives I would receive a refund check by May first of $238.71. I waited and when it did not arrive I called the customer service line again and was told I would not be receiving a refund. This is confusing since the representatives do not agree. Can I get help from another source explaining this confusion?

      DO NOT FALL FOR RIGHT TRACK SCAM.They penalize you for driving over 37mph and the *** doesnt log well at all. Driving at 3pm is punished.They will trick you with a discount then take that away.

      Just had a driving event that was auto labeled as me as the driver. Not sure how they do this but its a complete farce. You have 0 control. They will do anything to MAKE you lose their discount. The incentive is ********** not waste you money with such a seedy company with the most barebones response. Yes let me take time out of my day to email my scammers.

      I would leave 0 stars if I could Terrible...absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced.The automated service is the absolute worst ever-no options to speak to someone ...system hangs up on you and so do the service agents.Also very high priced and I could not close my policy myself unless calling after hours. so messed up...never again will I consider these ridiculous maggots.

      I own a small wood product manufacturing business. We manufacture custom millwork products. We have been insured through Liberty Mutual for one year. Our premium for last year was $27,000. We were advised that Liberty Mutual was not going to renew our policy. They said we are a high risk because we produce combustible ( wood ) products. Our broker was able to get a quote for$70,000 per year. We have been in business for 25 years and have never had a claim. We have a well maintained fire sprinkler system and a well kept facility.Nobody from Liberty has come to our facility to inspect. They have left us scrambling to get insured and I feel they could care less about the small business guys. Over a 300% increase in price, with no history of claims or losses is outrageous.With Liberty you only pay for what you need is a Joke

      Worst Insurance company I have ever delt with. 4 years ago I placed a claim on my roof. They said they would replace half of it! Who replaces half a roof? So I declined as I would have to pay the full deductible. In March 2025 a huge wind storm came through and 3 of my neighbors had to have their roofs replaced by their Ins. *** But Liberty said mine was existing damage. They saw it had been patched, but I did not have the receipts to show. Agent ******** **** is the worst. She is a speed talker and won't let you get a word in. She is the rudest I have ever spoke with. I wrote her boss ******* ***** about her attitude on late Friday. She called me at home Monday at 7am barking orders for me to tell her boss it wasn't true. I had her on speaker phone so my husband could hear her. It was so bad I had to hang up on her. She called back and left a message saying she was unsure if we got disconnected or if I in fact hung up in her face! I hate to have to leave any star as they are not worth it. I was a loyal customer for several years. I will be letting anyone who will listen to me know about this company. If I can keep one person from the trouble and heartache I have had to go through. I will continue to let people know this company has no intensions on paying out on any claims. Only pay for what you need! But when you need it they don't pay. Be very careful people with this insurance company!!!! :(

      I'm not insured with liberty mutual, but my car was hit and totaled by one of their drivers. I had to give them a police report to prove their driver was at fault, besides that I can barely get in touch with their total loss department to figure out what's going on, I've been ******* for 2 months and still waiting on my settlement money so I can replace the car their driver totaled, on top of that I wasn't even offered a rental car.

      I really dont really talking to insurance people I have had my share talking to agents and they want to keep you on the phone when all you want is an insurance policy that covers everything and reasonable prices I need a good insurance that cares about my family and I . I was not satisfied with my old insurance policies,however I found a wonderful woman ****** ******** who works for Liberty Mutual and she was amazing she talk to me and explain how everything works and Im very happy with her and the knowledge she has. ****** really cares about people thats very important to me and my husband.I want let everyone whos looking for insurance please talk with ****** at Liberty Mutual You will not be disappointed in fact Im telling all of my friends Im sure you will be happy.I like to thank ****** for all that shes done to helping me writing my policy .Sincerely ****** ******

      Ive been trying to work with Liberty Mutual on a claim I filed (they are not my insurance company), and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. Its been over a week, and although the claim has supposedly been assigned, Ive seen no *********** first, I was told the assigned agent was on leavethen later, that she was simply out of the office. Every time I call, Im sent to voicemail, including when I try to reach a supervisor. Im repeatedly told someone will contact me, but no one ever does. The lack of follow-up, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable for a ********************** of this size.

      After reading the below complaints, the common thread is poor customer service, & not paying claims, I have decided not to go with Liberty Mutual. I received a quote from Liberty Mutual which is cheaper than what auto policy I currently have. Thanks everyone for your posts.

      They cancelled my policy for no reason and without letting us know, throwing us in the dark like that and we have been driving for a whole month without insurance. We got a letter from the *** saying our registration will be suspended because we do not have insurance and i called to understand what is going on they were rude and not giving us an answer why the policy being cancelled. This is one of the trashiest company.
