    My experience with Sendwave has been highly unsatisfactory. I sent $100 to *********, and the funds were never delivered. When I contacted their customer service, I received inconsistent explanations, and they shifted the blame to the local bank.It has been over a month, and my money is still held hostage. The lack of transparency and accountability from Sendwave is deeply concerning. I would caution others against using their services, as my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

    They say they can't "legally" explain why they refuse refuse to do transfers for certain people, including me, though I provided them with documentation. A lame, unbelievable excuse.

    Sendwave had been my go to company to send money to my relatives/friends for the last 6 years, and I have never had a problem till recently when they put my account under review.I reached out to them through the chat and they said they will get back to me in the next ***** hours. No response came and I send out an email explaining my concerns. They replied saying my account had been closed due to unsatisfactory results. Makes me wonder how you can be graded on a tool that enables you to send money and support your people. The initial goal of sendwave was to make it easier for folks to support their people instantly. On what ground do you close someones account? I have been sending money to the same people for a very long time, and if they think there has been fraud, they could have reached back to me or cross check the mobile numbers I have been sending money to. Im a disappointed former customer. As a company, there should be better ways of communicating your findings on why someone account is under review rather than sending out an email that I failed due to unsatisfactory results.My advice for other people is use the app sparingly since you could find yourself in my situation.

    I have been with Sendwave for so many years now. And just 3 days ago I wanted to send money and I got a message that my account was under review. So I called the customer service and they said they were going to forward my concern to compliance team.I got a message from the compliance team that my account has been blocked and rrmove me permanently from the app. I called the customer service again and told about the message but what they told was they could not disclose the reason why I have been removed from the app, which to me it doesn't make sense.Is it how Sendwave operates?It looks like Sendwave is a scam company. How can you blocked someone without telling them the reason.My message to all Sendwave users to be careful and watchful because it can happen to you. And I know I haven't done any fraudulent activities on the app, or any criminal activities nor money laundering. But I didn't get any prior message as why my account was under review in the first place.So users watch out and look for other apps to send money.Can't trust Sendwave

    They can"t be trusted at all,they were good when I used them one time,just recently 5/8/2023 sent money to my sister but it was not her full name so I told them to cancel the transaction which they did and they said the money was revised back to my account on 5/10/2023.Till now nothing is even coming up on my bank account. Everytime i called they said they have done it that i should wait before it comes up,they did this same s*** 3 years ago which i lost 70 dollars. I will have to put them on the news as a scam company. Do the needful please

When you made the transfer with Sendwave, the amount you wanted to send was put on an authorized hold with your bank but no money was actually debited from your account. Then when your transfer was canceled, the hold was released, making the money available in your account again. The canceled fund is not visible on your statement. But it can be seen in your available balance, which should show extra money, equal to the amount that was canceled. The authorized hold is normally released within a few working days.     SendWave are Scammer Beware!!I have been using SendWave money transfer service since 2017 but this will be my last time using them. I sent money to a number my sister has stopped using due to security seasons. The transfer when through and I immediately contacted them to reverse the transaction. However, I couldn't get hold of customer service on Sunday apparently they are not available 24/7 regardless false advertising claiming to do so. Left a message via a link to reverse the transaction. The following day on Monday I was able to talk to customer service representative who acknowledged receiving my request and mentioned it may take up to 30 to get back my money back given that it's has not been withdrawn. I contacted the recipient to visit SendWave business partners Vodacom ******** and inquire about the transaction and have them reverse it on their end. Luckily, the number that was attached to transaction was not to recycled nor assigned to another subscriber and was still in my sister's name the funds were available. I was able to talk to their partner's rep and they assured me that no funds were withdrawn and a reversal order has been initiated to ************* Services. Contacted Send Wave they mentioned that's great news since no funds were withdrawn I just got to wait for the my money back within the 30 days timeline. More than 30 days in no refund in site, just weekly auto notifications that they are working on it. Finally I got a text tonight stating that, "Unfortunately, we have not been able to so. So sorry we cannot do anything further to get your money back after it was delivered to your stated recipient." I'm taking more measures to get my money back and won't be using this service again. Don't patronize this SCAMMING business!!!

    Sent money to a friend three days ago. Normally the money shouldn't take time. She went to the bank in *******. *********** to be precise. They said she must open a dollar account. Just for only 50 dollars. Till today money has not been paid. They keep saying confirmation number is not correct . Now they said they have no dollar to give. I sent email to sendwave to please refund my 50 dollars. Nothing till today.It's all turning to a scam. Please I advice if you sending money to *******. Find other ways to do that

    SENDWAVE IS A VERY BAD NEWS. You cannot trust your money remittance to this company . Their ads are all FAKE. It takes so many days and so many calls before they will send your money to the recipient, actually at this very moment they still have my money, its been more than 3 days and they still have the money that I sent for my mother.For everyone who is trying to promote this SENDWAVE please dont be liars, dont say things that you dont even know or experience just because you are getting paid by them. People are sending their hard earned money to their love ones so this is no JOKE.SENDWAVE IS A VERY UNRELIABLE REMITTANCE COMPANY, their SENDWAVE APP *****, whoever develop this app need to go back to schoolUnworthy and unreliable SENDWAVE

    I've used this app for years, can't remember how many, never had a problem. And even when the mobile cash service was down on the receivers side, they were sure to email me and let me know. I can only speak for myself, but after years of moneygram and western union, this app has been a god sent.

    sendwave is not got 1 * ( one star) from me, it is a SCAM company. When I tested with small money, sendwave sent it right away. But when I send 258$, the system asked Action required: check ID photo waiting 1 day. And after that, more 2 days they still keep my money, and quietly until now. I think it's difficult to get back refund from sendwave.Hopeless, i never use this app again, but I hope everyone is carefull and stop to use senwave app.
