I am a senior. Fidelity tried to talk me into an investment where I would actually loose money compared to what I had. I asked for help with a treasury bond and they overbought and told me it was my fault for calling and I had to sell mutual funds to make up the diffence for their mistake. I will be finding a different firm.

Waited 7 days for 3 cash transactionsWaited 7 days for 3 cash transactions to complete. Talked to Chat person, chat bot, phone calls, Fidelity.com, electronic forms etc. Finally was told( after I said to cancel everything) that 2 forms were mailed on day 6, not day 1. I asked for a supervisor. Turns out theyre working from home and the "back office" isnt! "Who's watching your money?" "Buahahaha!";>

**** My 401k was transferred from Vanguard 401k to Fidelity ***** is missing from my account . I had a loan but the company instead of paying off my loan they kept ***** of my money and transferred my loan to fidelity no one cant seem to no.I no how much money I had cause I had Scream shot my account.I file for a hardship because of the house that I was living in the home owner wanted to sale her home it left me homeless. The fidelity company has took me through so much just so I can find me somewhere to stay . I had to send papers just so my employer can decide is it ok for a hardship. Im homeless what they dont understand. I need my money. The representative at fidelity claim that I cant close my 401k only if I dont work for the company no more ?????. This is Horrified just like a bad scary movie . Today I sent the paper they claim it can take up to three weeks to decide if Im worthy enough not to be homeless unbelievable.

i continue to have problems getting information regarding my deceased son's account. It is a very small amount of money. Fidelity received a court order to release information within 30 days. It ihas been 45. I call every week and they say they are working on it...very sad what they are doing (not doing) during this time of grief. I am only a number to them....not a grieving parent

The **********, ** Fidelity office completely mis-advised ** on our 529 plan and we lost $30,000 of our daughter's college tuition that my family has been saving for our whole lives. They refuse to acknowledge what they did or help make it right. Big bank, untrustworthy, money-making scam. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY ARE CRIMINALS!

I did several times so called wash trading (tradings within one day). Today they forbid such trading referring that it takes 2 (two!) days for them to settle the cash from previous trade. What are they doing with my money for two days?

I am trying to initiate my pension - 3 months, 5 phone calls and I cant even get the paperwork sent to me. The phone calls go through the same process every time, take at least half an hour and Im on hold for 6 - 10 mins 2 or 3 times. Fidelity. If you know your pension is coming via Fidelity, get it moved now if *** can. They truly are completely incompetent.

I needed to change my name on my account. I spoke with 2 people about it and they told me all you need is 1 ID. I filled out the form and it said you needed a guarantor signature. I did not know what that was so I called, and the representative told me I needed to go to the bank. I did not have time to go to a bank but had to carve out time since I needed the name change done asap. The representative told me to walk into any bank. I called the bank closest to were I had to be that morning and they told me I needed an account at that bank in order to obtain the signature. So I had to drive to the bank with whom i do business with to obtain the signature. I had to wait around and wasted 90 minutes of valuable time. If the original representative told me I needed the signature I would have planned accordingly. Not only was there misinformation provided, but there was vital info left out. It caused a huge headache which was unnecessary

On 12/27/2022 I requested the rollover of my funds into my 401k account. The required forms were filled out, my previous account was terminated and the check was sent to Fidelity with a date: 01/19/2023. I first called Fidelity on 02/01 and since then, I have been in contact with customer service, called numerous times. 1st call I was told to initiate a rollover using their App, following his instructions. He confirmed and verified, the check receipt and the amount. He assured I should be seeing my funds rolled in in few days. 2nd call on 02/03 no problems were identified my funds will be rolled into my account early next week I was told. 3rd call on 02/09 and fourth on 02/10: the agent verified my check again but the instructions for the rollover were missing per Fidelity, this caused the delay, although this was completed on 02/03. The agent guided me throughout the whole process, repeated the entire application and she confirmed the application was successful. Only a photo of the check was missing, which I was not able to provide, due to the check being with Fidelity and each agent, verified its receipt on 01/30. All was completed while on the phone with the rep confirming the receipt of the application. On 02/14 ******* stated I did not provide Fidelity with clear instructions, roll in cant be processed. A rude supervisor stated: their policy does not allow them to process the check since it was sent directly to Fidelity (not a common practice) without required paperwork and following their internal procedures they had to send the check back to me on 02/08. She gave me false info about the check. A letter received on 02/17 clearly shows postage with 02/14, therefore the check must have been with Fidelity. 6-7 calls, wasting hours on the phone a simple roll in cannot be solved. Terrible company! The whole process is failing them and customers too. The possible gain/return of this un-invested amount over a month is a pure loss due to their incompetency.
