      Please do your homework before you invest with Fidelity.I have been a customer for 23 years--just simple Checking/Savings accounts. I have been locked out of my (well-funded) accounts and have been unable to get a answer from Fidelity as to why--or how--to resolve this. I call, get put on hold (up to an hour), get a CSR who reads a script. It is my professional opinion that Fidelity should never be used to manage the funds of any middle-class American. Locked out now for 30 days. No call, no e-mail, no explanation.

      I have been trying to move one of my *** accounts out of Fidelity for over a week. The request was faxed to them by another custodian a week ago. Today, (3 days later) they are telling me that it needed to be sent to a different fax number. I was told that a woman would be calling me yesterday to discuss the delay. She never called me. I called them today requesting to speak with this woman and she was conveniently not available. I was told by a customer service person that my money would be released between 3-5 business days. Why did they not process this on Monday of this week after the paperwork was sent in last Friday??. Why are they requesitng to have the paperwork re-faxed to a DIFFERENT fax number when the institution that is requesting the funds have used the ORIGINAL fax number for years? All of a sudden it was changed to a different one? This woman did just call me back and was non-stop talking and would not let me speak. These people are incompetent and are not telling the truth! This company is the worst and I recommend that you DO NOT do business here. They are not worthy of holding anyone's money. No wonder! They are not BBB accredited! of course! Run!

      Do NOT open an account here. I was literally just on the phone with *****, a senior executive, who advised that "we do not need to advise you of fees, you must ask". They consolidated one of my 401k accounts simply to charge me more fees. I haven't received anything for it. I will be seeking legal action at this point as they have also advised they will not allow me to move my funds to any other company. Essentially they will continue to charge me fees against my will or knowledge as they please. I would have to terminate employment or retire in order to even change companies. DO NOT open up an account with Fidelity Investments under any circumstances. To the BBB: There should be a rating with less than 1 star.

      Do not open an account here. They locked me out of an account. I filed all of the legal documents and paperwork to be the ***** of ******** on my father's account. I attempted to transfer a large sum of money into the account. Fidelity told me they could not accept the funds becasue a POA can only make trades on an account- A POA can't take money out or put money into an account. I have never heard of anything like this. Legally, I have full financial capabilities. He is elderly and cant do these transactions, which is why I am his POA. This forced me to transfer all funds to another brokerage. I had to get the other brokerage to transfer the funds. Fidelity would not help me at all. I should mention that I have a significant amount of money with Fidelity. And this is how I was treated.

      Well, the only thing Im giving is a bad review. My wife was sitting in the hospital for three weeks she had the rehab center to testify that was her They asked her to send her driver license three times and they still say its not her a week later she had her fidelity fidelity investment statement, so if my wife its not her, why should she get the statement through the mail she broke her leg had two surgeries cant get her 401(k) because they cannot verify its her come on she sent the driver license. It has the driver license number. If theyre that smart they can research the number to see if its her or matches the picture.

      1. **************** is usually poor with some exceptions 2 If you make a mistake in your password, you are doomed. Especially if you are overseas and have to call them to reopen your account 3 ****** shows how much income your account is expected to generate this year , with YTD and last year The information is there somewhere in the Fidelity app but I have had even customer service folks not be able to find it. As a dividend growth investor this is critical information I have had 7 figure accounts with both ****** and Fidelity and to me ****** is clearly preferable

      Worst company Ive ever used. I make a transfer and they usually send it on time. But for some odd reason my account doesnt show that transfer. Pathetic excuse for an investment company!!!

      have been trying to collect my pension plan for a few months . Each time I call I get different answers. The customer support people are not educated or trained to assist me or probably anyone else for that matter. With each call they tell me its something else i need to submit. Something has to be done ??

      Terrible company to invest in. Fidelity had a promo to give $100.00 to anyone who open and account and invest at least $15. I did that. I then started to invest as I would get paid from working. I decided to close my debit card with them because the customer service sucked. Next thing I tried to log into my online account and was told I could not log in because everything has been frozen and they will not tell me why. I repeat my asked why and even had management tell me the same thing. They told me my business will be better elsewhere but without reason. I then requested for my funds to be given back. They gave me the ring around and would tell me many reasons why they could not. I finally got my funds back but I want to warn you if you or anyone you know is looking to invest with Fidelity investments think twice! Matter fact think more than twice! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!

      Mayhem! Almost murder on my part. I attempted to withdraw a 401k beneficiary account. After speaking for well over an hour with one rep, I was under the impression I could withdraw the entire sum and either roll it over to an *** or pay fed/state taxes on my own. I opted to take the entire amount and my husband and I could decide about the taxes or ***. When I received the check it was ********** 15 grand for federal taxes and one grand for state. I called Fidelity back up and said there was a misunderstanding I thought I was going to get the entire amount and then I myself would either choose to pay taxes or roll it over. I encouraged them to review the phone call and gave them the name of the representative, the exact time of the call and the date. They never called me back. A week went by and I got in touch with them and after explaining the situation to six different people starting with the same thing - my first and last name and how could they help me?- I was finally connected to a rep who said, I understand what you want. You want us to cancel the check we sent and rollover the entire amount to an ***. I was ecstatic! She worked with a colleague for 10 minutes on the telephone and finally told me she was going to transfer me to someone who would finish the process. She transferred me to the wrong department where I had to go through the entire thing again. Finally after the sixth time someone came on the line and said it was too late taxes were done I was ***. I was so frustrated I broke down and was crying at ******** They better start training their reps better or else somebody such as myself is going to become even more unglued!
