      If Nexamp was legit then why do they have to try to trick you into signing up for it? Some guy just came to my door claiming he was doing an independent audit to make sure people were getting some supposed solar credit on their electric bill and wanted to see a copy of a recent bill. And if the credit wasn't on it he could fix it by getting some info from me blah blah.... I said "this sounds like you're trying to sign me up for something like Nexamp". He then finally admitted that he was doing just that. No legitimate company would be so deceitful in trying to sign up new customers. Why isn't this illegal?

      I canceled my subscription to this company February ****** and this is July 7th and they are still billing us. They say it takes 90 days to suspend service which is outrageous and we are still getting billed 6 months later

      Your Nexamp account has been officially marked for cancellation. Please note that due to the structure of our program and our billing-in-arrears model, you may still receive invoices for solar energy credits that were applied to your utility account prior to your cancellation taking effect. 

      As a reminder, Nexamp issues invoices only after we receive confirmation from your utility that solar credits have been applied to your account. This results in a delay between when the credits appear on your utility bill and when Nexamp bills you. For this reason, we encourage you to focus on the production periods listed on your Nexamp invoices, as these represent the actual timeframes during which the solar energy was generated and credited to your account. 

      All credits were provided to you at a discount, and any remaining charges on your account reflect only the credits that were used to offset your electricity costs before cancellation. 
      Our team will follow up with you directly to review the full details of your account and answer any remaining questions you may have. Thank you for your time and understanding.

      Why does no one answer the phone when trying to cancel!! I called at 8;30am and was still waiting for someone to answer at 9am!!!!

      I have screen shots of other complaints saying we never signed up for their services but are receiving bills. Worker from there said Im not the first ****** saying this. My own power company said I wasnt the first either!

      You do save on your electric bill but terrible customer service if you want to cancel. I requested in August of last year. They say there is a 3 MONTH wait to process and I'm still trying to get it fully cancelled mid-June. 3 texts and a phone call. Ridiculous.

Our billing is completed in arrears, meaning the charges on your Nexamp invoices reflect solar credits that were already applied to your utility bill. 

      That said, weve reviewed your account and can confirm that you have not been billed for any solar credits generated beyond the 90-day cancellation period. If you have questions about your billing, we would be happy to walk you through the details. A member of our team will be reaching out to you directly to ensure any remaining concerns are addressed and that you feel confident in the resolution.

      So it takes 6 months to cancel then? There was nothing about 3 months in arrears when I asked to cancel. Just that it takes 3 months for your cancel request to be processed. Important information to share with your customers. And the first two people I contacted said nothing about it. And I still received an invoice this month (June) although it was corrected to zero by the time I logged into my account AGAIN. So 10 months to maybe be finished.

      Nexamp is a straight-up SCAM. Ask for an explanation of your EXCESSIVE charges and you get a word.salad of terminology used and understood only by them, if they understand it themselves. I have a B.A. in Classical Languages and they can't sufficiently explain it to me. One of many Red Flags. Stay away from these thieves with their "Green" scam. STAY AWAY. It's all pure BS.

If enrolled in ********* annual cash-out program, you may receive a refund or bill credit for unused creditsNexamp still invoices for those, as they were delivered to your account. Recent Delmarva rate increases may also affect the value of your credits and total charges. 

      Wed like to look into your account but couldnt locate it based on the information provided.       Late billing, lost check, does not work with the customer well to resolve issues, did not inform customer of lost check they blamed custmer, terminated customer without notice or contact to resolve.

      This company is the epitome of greedy, difficult and shady. They claim I signed up for their service, which I did not do. Have been trying to get out from underneath this nightmare of a company from the moment I realized they had linked to my National Grid account. It has been many months and I have gotten nowhere. Ive got nothing but excuses and lies. They need to be investigated and held accountable for their actions. What theyre doing seems not only unethical but illegal. I hope everybody on here has turned them into the utility commission and reported their failure to comply. I know I have so do yourself a favor and run run run run run very very far away from this company you will regret it if you dont I guarantee you that

      Unbelievably awful company. I requested to cancel in November. They said it takes up to 90 days to cancel. After 90 days, I was still getting statements from them. I called them and they said that March would be my last bill from them. Well they lied, I am STILL getting statements from them. Stay far FAR away from these people.

      I requested to cancel in November. Your company has assured me, I will keep getting statements until May. SIX MONTHS AFTER MY REQUEST. You will not be getting any more of my money.
