5 starsI was looking for a way to contribute to the reduction of carbon emission. My house orientation is not suitable for solar panels installation. By subscribing to Ampion which provides electricity from renewable resources I feel I am doing something good for the planet. And I can access a page where I can see my carbon offset and savings $$$. Sign up was really easy, and I've saved hundreds of dollars without having to do anything else. This is especially beneficial to me since I purchased an ** last year ***** Mustang Mach E, I highly recommend it) and I do a lot of home charging. When I bought the ** and my usage went up, Ampion increased my share of the farm so that I could get more savings. Sometimes, due to how the market functions, I see bills that are higher than normal - but this levels out. It's because the credits can "stack up" based on production or utility transfer of credit information to Ampion. Overall, the savings are great.I'll definitely be signing up for our new home that we'll be moving to soon...

I live in ***** and I just got my first bill from Ampion this month. I was happy to see some savings! The program works as described, my bill to CMP has been reduced, then I pay for the kWh credits to Ampion at a discounted rate. With electricity rates going up, every ***** saved helps. I would definitely recommend Ampion to others!Ampion, Inc.

It's clear that the folks leaving poor reviews do not understand how the program works. This is a fantastic program that has helped me save month over month since the solar farm went live. I've been a customer for probably 18 months and have had nothing but a positive experience. Highly recommend, just make sure you understand how it works when you enroll!Ampion, Inc.

I signed up for Ampion approximately in June of 2022 and quit the program in about February of 2023 because I still hadn't been assigned to a solar farm. There was never a farm listed in my online account. When I emailed them in the fall, I was told I had been assigned to a solar farm in Auburn that would become active at the beginning of 2023. When I checked in with them at that time I was told their plan for the Auburn site had fallen through. I would be reassigned to a farm that would open late in 2023. I wan't willing to wait for that especially since it seemed that plan could fall through like the Auburn plan. I never received any updates on my plan. I had to contact them to find out what was going on.Ampion, Inc.

We are sorry you did not want to continue with your Community Solar subscription. Some solar farms are active while others are still under construction. Timelines of receiving credits may vary and anticipation of 6 months to a year after enrollment are common before receiving credits on your utility bills depending on the permitting process and interconnection with the utility. We strive to always improve our communication and recently implemented subscriber's site assignment/status details visible on the portal. Good company, implementing a good state program.Been with Ampion for a year and a half, and I'm very happy with the experience.I'm in MA, and saved about 10% on my electric bills in the 1st year, as promised.When I moved to a different address in the same utility area (Eversource), the cust svc team was great in explaining it all. One thing I learned is that ampion and other community solar *** are just implementing rules that ********** write. ************* and I believe ***** have chosen to create the 2-bill system. Ampion just plays by those rules.It can be confusing, but it's also legit. I recommend reading the website explanations that Ampion and others write. They explain things pretty well.My experience with the 2 bill system-- My bills from the electric company are much lower than they used to be, and sometimes $0. That's b/c of the solar credits from my share of the solar farm. It shows up on the Eversource bill as a negative $ in "Other charges or credits." I then pay Ampion at a 10% discount for those credits.Yes, the numbers vary month to month--the sun shines more in the summer, less in the winter, impacting credits generated. Also the utility had delays one time, which caused me to pay two months of bills at once. But I didn't pay anything the previous month, so it all averaged out. Not Ampion's fault, or the state's. Eversource just screwed up.The state wants these solar farms to be built to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. So it creates financial incentives for consumers like us and the builders to get them built.I'm a fan because of the state-backed savings, but also b/c it's so easy to do something to help more solar farms get built and add more solar to the grid.Ampion, Inc.

I have been a customer with ********************** since April ***************************************************************************************************** practice (at the time it was a new concept to me and hadn't really heard of it before). Initially after asking my questions and addressing my gaps in how it works, the enrollment itself was quick and straightforward. Ampion provides a really useful portal login where you can manage your account as well as seeing running totals of savings, energy produced on my behalf from the solar site and the total amount of equivalent CO2 offset. I can also track my month-to-month billing and download .pdf statements.I've since signed up two other rental properties to also benefit from supplementing my energy usage/spend from solar and have continued to be happy with the service I'm provided. Highly recommend to others who may also be on the fence!Ampion, Inc.
