      On October 14, 2022 I went to Staples, ********* to apply for *** Pre-Check. I had an appointment, provided the required documentation, and paid the $85 fee. The Staples rep who collected my information and payment told me that I would receive my *** Pre-Check number in 3-5 business days. I waited and did not receive my *** Pre-Check number. After two weeks I called Staples and the *** Pre-Check rep told me that my application was in process. I applied for *** Pre-Check at Staples in October because I am traveling on December 5th. I learned from contacting *** Pre-Check directly (not Staples) that because of high volume it can take up to 60 days to process a *** Pre-Check application. Had the Staples rep provided the correct information I would not have applied and spent the $85. I don't travel often and was trying to avoid long lines on December 5th. I called Staples Braintree three times on November 30th and no one would assist me. One rep hung up on me and another referred me to the *** Pre-Check phone number. I left my contact information and requested a call back. The Staples *** Pre-Check rep didn't call me back. Too busy helping other customers. In short, Staples gives you incorrect info, takes your money, and provides zero assistance if you have a problem. If I don't get the *** Pre-Check # that I paid for on October 14th by December 5th, I won't do business with Staples again.

      Ordered a toner that the Timonium store ordered for me online as the store does not carry the item. Don't know why the toner couldn't be processed as I could not understand the customer service representative. I finally called to cancel the order and asked for the charge to be removed from my **** account. Almost a month later, hasn't happened. When can I expect the amount to be removed from my **** account for merchandise that was never delivered?******* Very unhappy with Staples.

      Staples apologizes for the inconvenience. We have looked into why the problem occurred and nothing ever shipped and addressed this. We arranged a full refund for the customer and send a refund receipt for the customer's records. The customer confirmed the refund did arrive

      The ******** ******** store was not at all helpful in resolving my issue. I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get my issue resolved. The manager at the ******** ******** store gave me a phone number and told me to resolve the issue myself. This is especially troubling since the problem was because the clerk at the Timonium store rang the online order wrong. I even went back a second time to ask the manager for help. She gave me a 503 corporate number and told me they would not help either. The manager at the ******** store would be better suited for another job.. In the future I will deal with the ****** store. Have to be better than ********. I have been a customer at ********************** for a long time and to be treated so poorly. So sad.

      well I bpught the printer in June of this year and I have had problems with it & first it was the ************ coverage tech helped me & then it would not print & the coverage tech helped me but could not get it to print & then I was referred to hp *********** could not get it to print & was trying to refer me to another tech to be charged & no way,,,,,,then I got in touch with my coverage tech and they filed a claim & then I was denied saying my printer was not in warranty??? wow only had it since June and nobody is here in my apt to do anything to it.......thanks

      Staples apologizes for the inconvenience we may have caused the customer. In researching the situation, we have found that the printer is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Provided options to the customer. Cust does not wish to reach out to the manufacturer again. Advised printer does not fall within Staples 14 day return policy as it was purchased 5 months ago.

      Manager is entirely unprofessional. Fires employees due to her mistake. Is generally rude to employees and customers alike. Retention rate for employees is drastically low. Training is not enforced prior to entering the sales floor, leaving confused and inexperienced employees. Discriminatory to disabled employees.

      Today is 10/7/22 and I called Staples.The order was placed on 03/07/20 during pandemic and it's been back order for long and I lose the track. There's no reminder, no email, what so ever to remind the order was not shipped, and neither a refund issued. So, if I don't call, Staples will eat the money and portend nothing happened. That's exactly what happened when I called at 9:20PM this evening. The Rep pretend nothing happened and no problem with the order and just keep asking why I just called for an order placed years ago. Years ago, I spent lots of money with Staples, before and during pandemic, and during the same period of March, I had ordered many in different orders for the office supply and cleaning supply. Later on, I switched my job, no more office work, and most purchases was done at ****** and *********** and Staples, however, left this smelly tails in my month. Disgusting!

      Staples apologizes for the inconvenience. I researched this and did not find a charge for the back-ordered item. One item was canceled off the order, there was no charge for this item. I send all invoices associated with the charges to the customer. One of our associates has also issued a partial refund which went back to the card that was used for the payment of this order. The customer was given a refund invoice for this as well. Refunds always have to go back to the original credit card used to ensure that the person who paid for it gets the proper refund. Regarding the lack of communication, I have shared this feedback with the appropriate team for future orders for our customers. Based on the age of the order we no longer have access to previous communication that was sent to the customer

      I made a reservation for 10:00AM on Saturday, September 17, 2022 for the special weekend (September *****) free PC Tune-Up. I received two email reminders, the latest was one hour before the appointment. When I showed up for the appointment there was no one there. I asked the worker in ******************** and she said that they called in and were not coming in. Very poor service!

      I purchased a gaming computer chair from Staples along with the extended warranty. The sales/service rep who pushed for the extended warranty explained to me that if ANYTHING goes wrong with the chair they would replace it. The first few weeks I had no issues, but then had 1 thing after another go wrong. The seat bolsters are collapsing, the hydraulic creaks and squeaks, and the stitches are popping. I called the customer service number, gave them my warranty information and said I need to have this replaced. The representative on the phone said no problem and it takes up to 10 business days to send a replacement chair. After 3 weeks (today) I called back to inquire about my replacement. The rep on the phone this time now claims they would only send some parts but they are on back order. When I explained my previous conversation I had with customer service the rep this time (2nd call) wanted to make a ignorant remark "Well if its not hurting the function then oh well". Either the sales rep who sold me the warranty was taught to lie to people to make sales OR this is a company wide grift to sell warranties and have no intention to make good on the warranty. This is horrible business practices, and will NEVER do business with this company again.

      Our business is located in a small town hours away from a Staples so we always shop online for our office supplies and our experience with Staples has always been great. Specifically the have: Excellent product fulfillment, Excellent shipping speed, and Great customer service! We had to return a shredder and were able to do it easily online. Their online chat is effective and chatting with a representative (Honnie) online produced great results. We have shopped online with them for several years and always have a great experience.
