  My credit limit was decreased due to me not using my card for 12 months. I normally use my card once a year for school purchasing. This decrease caused my credit score to drop & according to customer service they advised this company can decrease my credit limit if I don't not use my card within a time limit. I have never heard of this and this very unprofessional. If I want to increase my limit, this company will have a pull my credit which is a credit check and will cause ANOTHER DECREASE on my credit score.

  I was surprised and disappointed at what I uncovered at TJ Maxx today. I selected a garment that had the manufacturer’s label and price for 24.99. The TJ Maxx label was partially missing but the cashier said it was 29.99. That's right shoppers , we have been given the impression we are getting deals that are less than the manufacture's price but apparently not. In fact, the manager admitted to taking off these no name manufacturers tags so no one will see the TJ Maxx price was actually MORE! This could be why you see fewer name brands because it's harder to dupe shoppers selling Familiar brands. I offered to purchase at the manuf suggested price to see how dishonest they really were. It was worse than I thought because the manager not only refused to honor the price on the tag....she tried to explain how the 'vendor' set the price, not TJ Maxx. Lol. Since when are vendors in possession of TJ Maxx price tags? I was naive to believe a business like this would actually provide merchandise at a savings but I now realize their business model appears to be based on trickery and deception. This now makes sense because I purchased a child's dining set at a sister store and didn't see a crack in the plate. I returned it within a couple hours after finding something cheaper and cuter at Target. I had a hard time returning it because I was accused of cracking it!!!! So clearly this franchise is sinking based on the poor customer service and lower quality merchandise at inflated costs. Buyer beware. You may not be getting the deal you think you are!

  I had a terrible experience the other day at TJ Maxx. I got an item that was marked down at a low price and it was a bargain. The store won't sell it and says it was a mistake. It was fine if they admit it was a mistake. But what we got was a ill-tempered manager that came a rips the price tag off the item and told us off that they are going to sell it for $80 rather than $16.
