      They approved me for membership along with benefits . I had access to my accounts for a couple days then they put a hold on my mobile banking app along with my new accounts , saying they was doing some type of investigation on my documents I submitted which where already approved . sent me a debit card , a credit card that I could not activate. After I applied for a personal loan got emailed the approval letter . Only for them to mail me a letter saying Im denied , they purposely led me on wasnt very straight up . Please do not waist your time , energy or effort with this credit union they are bad for business.

      WORD TO THE WISE: DO NOT EVER USE THIS BANK OR GET SOLAR LOAN FROM THEM. THEY ARE VERY UNETHICAL AND SCAMMERS. I purchased a solar system back in 2019 and had mosaic loan before they changed my loan to DCU. I sold my house in Aug of 2023 and ask this shady bank for a payoff letter that i had to jump through hoops to get. I did not receive it the first time i called, and had called back to request yet another one. I finally got a letter that i submitted to the escrow company. The loan was paid off, so I thought. a month and a half later I noticed I still had a ****** balanced. I call and ask why there was a balance and explained that this should have been paid off. The rep called there solar loan ppl whom are the lowest of low and are very rude. They told the rep that they only sent one letter and that I owed the remaining balance. I had a letter that was dated Aug 10 and that was the letter that I submitted to the escrow company. They were claiming this letter did not exist and that they only sent one dated Aug 15. After making multiple calls, and talking to supervisor's, and emailing the proof of the letter that I had. This ppl whom think there god, still said well you still owe this money and that was that. So I am being strong armed into paying for a mistake that they made, and lied about. This ppl are crooks. If you buy solar and get a loan, you will have this shady bank as the ones that carry your loan. They will change you, $5.19 per day in interest fees. They do not care about you, they only want to rob you, and take your money. Never consider or buy a solar loan unless you want to go thorough what I did. they get NO STARS from me.

      This bank approved me for a xxxxx amount as a counteroffer fine cool they require my documents and sales agreement I send it over I call to confirm the documents were received and I a lady answered nice then heard my voice and demeanor changed and demanded I had to send more supporting documents once she seen the vehicle I was trying to finance once I sent over my documents they denied my application saying they couldnt verify my income (W-2 and Paystubs) straight foward didnt call my employer or anything laughed and hung up in my face and I Withdrew my cash from the bank because I felt disrespected to the fullest and judged my other credit union approved me gave me cashier check and the car was bought so its definitely not normal for a reasonable for a wholesome credit union to conduct business

      Applied for credit card was approved. DCU asked for my employment verification I provided it. I own my own business provided my income documents. Once I did so my account was put under review for 30 days. Once DCU finished the review they said that I was denied because they were unable to verify my income or my business all of this info is public records. They would not provide an explanation. Once I spoke with a supervisor and asked them what method of verification that they use to verify this he told me that he does not provide that info. I advised him that I would be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau he immediately closed my account as soon as the call was concluded. DCU is a very discriminatory Institution. Please stay away!!!

      I have been with DCU since 2014. I have had several different types of loans with them since and I had paid them off all ahead of time. I went to DCU for the ***** loan. I was deemed qualified, and my application was passed on to underwriting. About a week and a half later, I noticed the process had stopped, so I called the underwriter assigned to work on my case. She called me back about a day later to tell me that there was a "Deed-in-lieu-of Foreclosure". I was shocked as I know that my property was in good standing. The underwriter said that she was going to look into this and get back to me. She came back and said that there was an account that was reporting a deed in foreclosure. I explained that this was a timeshare that was taken care of in 2018. She said that this account had to be closed for 4 years and as such, they cannot provide me the loan.I later spoke to a supervisor and pointed out my perfect payment history with them (DCU) and other accounts. The supervisor tried to say that there was no way that I could have gotten a mortgage loan with the timeshare reporting on my credit. I pointed out to her that I have had not one, but 3 mortgages. My point here is that DCU after years of having a perfect payment history decided to not provide me with a loan even though the timeshare account had not been reported for the past 25 months. They denied me the loan even though ever since I have been with them, I have never missed a payment. They denied me the loan even though 3 reporting credit bureaus have me having perfect payment history. I am certain that if I was another race, and my payment history and income (over six figures) given the circumstances, DCU would not have denied me the loan. I would never recommend DCU to anyone, as they do not treat their customer well.

      I have never dealt with such a shady financial institution in the past 45 years. Don't let their high rates lure you into joining, since you may never see your money again and their customer service is terrible. I wasted a ton of time doing an application just to open a savings account, and after several weeks of delays, my money was never deposited and the account was never opened even though I kept supplying every document they requested.

      Received a large check from a trust account and tried to deposit it via the mobile as Ive always done. ******* was rejected. After many calls to Customers Sevice with many suggestions from them. None of which worked,. They finally said the only solution was to have the sender reissue the check made out the way DCU wanted. I finally found the solution myself by simply changing the account name in the mobile app.

      Incompetent employees and insensitive customer service. After being on the phone with them for over an hour, my son was verbally approved for a personal loan. Two days later, after never hearing a word from DCU, he called then. He was told his loan was never approved and they didnt believe him when he told them he was verbally approved 2 days prior. They wouldnt work with him in trying to resolve this matter. They are apparently hiring incompetent employees that are unclear as to what they are doing.

      DCU loses another 20+ year member. BillPay Failed: after DCU converted their IT systems, multiple mortgage payments missed (I paid late fees). CC Pay Failed: DCU **** autopay transfer from Checking to CC failed two months in a row... I didn't catch it in time. Even though it was a DCU to DCU technical failure, they reported it to the credit unions (over $7) - the only bad **** I have in 25 years. I called them, multiple times, escalated to managers. The answer was "sorry, we have a new policy... we see the autopay transfer failed but you are responsible regardless". Filed dispute, nothing matters. It wasn't insufficient funds, either (I was over-paying). I used to recommend DCU to everyone. Now moving my finances (and $100k) to another credit union. The member service just isn't what it was in the past, and the new interfaces are okay if they work... but Transfers and Autopay HAS TO WORK. When AUTOPAY doesn't work your credit score is trashed?!? JUST NOPE.

      I have auto pay (full base) but was still getting charged interest. Customer support is nonexistent. I cant believe people trust their money to this dysfunctional institution. Ive been a member for 16 years and decided to close my accounts.
