1 starAgero hired a towing company with ZERO credential, no address or phone number, no ****** listing, and listed with ************** as a single owner LLC with no business location and no trucks. Gabor Towing The listing is under the owners name and residence address! The driver took over 3 hours when the driver arrives at my vehicle, he said that he could not get power to the battery and had to open my convertible top so that would not get damaged Then called me back and told me he did not have a tow hook and that I had to call another service. when I informed Agero they sent out another truck who did not arrive till midnight and again without a tow hook Even though the description said that a tow hook was required. Crown Towing The driver contacted the owner of the company who stated that they did not tow enough vehicles to warrant the purchase of a tow hook, a $12 average cost! Agero apologized to me and sent another driver out the following day. My *** convertible arrives 23 hours after I called roadside assistance. The top was down in the car was full of water from being left out in a storm overnight. The dealership is claiming $6000 worth of damage which Agero Agreed to cover however after one month, they claimed that the tow truck driver said that I left the top open Which is an absolute lie! He called me specifically to ask me how to open the top so that it would not get damaged during transport. Agero is unreliable and untrustworthy! They hire illegitimate unreliable substandard companies and do NOT do as they promise! I am beginning legal procedures against Agero as well as ********************* if necessary. Agero also provides roadside assistance for Farm Bureau so if you have roadside assistance you should be very careful of Agero and probably switch to a reliable company like AAAReview fromJustin B

1 starI have insurance through State Farm (will be changing soon if they do not ditch Agero) so unfortunately I'm stuck using these chodeburgers when I have to submit a roadside claim. The agents are friendly but that's it as far as positives, their notes system is completely broken so vital details don't make it to tow operators half the time. On 4 or 5 separate occasions now I've requested a flatbed only to have a tow truck operator show up with a rollback and show me in their notes that my request didn't make it through. Their ineptitude once left us stranded in the middle of ********** with no service dispatched for nearly 3 hours before we finally took it upon ourselves to call a tow company ourselves (took us 5 minutes, wasn't too difficult for some vacationers but apparently above the pay grade of these guys). As I'm typing this up I'm waiting on a tow I placed an order for ***5 HOURS AGO*** to be fulfilled, it's very likely I won't make it to the shop I need to drop my vehicle off at because of their continuous failures. Every single driver I've asked about the situation has said Agero is absolute dogshit to work with too, unfortunate for them since they're trying to make a living but at least I know I'm not alone in suffering because of these people. Any insurance agency that gives a **** about their customers will ditch this service, genuinely awful.Review fromRhett T

1 starNightmare. My truck broke down and Agero is the third-party roadside service my ********************** uses. The *** company said they could repair my truck quicker than the place I was originally going to have them tow the vehicle to. The next day the tow company said they do not have the software to run the diagnostics for my truck and asked where I wanted them to tow the truck to for repair. I told them the original place then they asked how I was paying for the tow. So they convince me to go with their shop, tow my truck to their shop, they cannot repair truck as they promised, then demanded I pay for them to tow my truck to the place I originally coordinated for. The Agero customer support said it was an agreement between me and the tow service so it is not on them!! They fail to realize they put me in this position by referring a hack-job tow service.Review fromMelissa F

1 starAbsolute worst company I have ever dealt with! My daughter called roadside assistance for help with a flat as I was unavailable to help her. The tech damaged our vehicle. Trying to get them to pay for the damage has been infuriating!! They bounce me around to different people, make me fill out forms, get quotes from shops then email me back saying they never got the formal quote i sent with the claims forms and damage picture. The tech that damaged my daughters car even called me and harassed me about the damage to the vehicle in the middle of the claims process. I have been bounced around call centers. Had someone call saying they were a customer advocate that takes surveys of customer somethings. Did not even know what he surveyed! I asked him. He did not know. Just answers the phone and sends me back to claims people who are NOT processing my claim. Can't say it enough, Agero is hands-down the worst company I have ever worked with. Do yourself a favor. Call a friend to help. Agero will end up costing you more time, money and frustration than was saved by calling for assistance.Show lessReview fromChelsea P

1 starThis company is a scam!! Do not use this company. The tow driver hit my car causing 2000 worth of damage. Acknowledged hitting my vehicle then proceeded to give me his business card and said he would fix the damages. He then later denies hitting the car. Called the insurance company to report the incident was told to take car to the shop where it has been sitting for OVER A MONTH. They do not respond when you call them, asked for the same paperwork for weeks until i had to put the shop and the insurance company on a 3 way call. I have lost so much money dealing with this company. After further review they have did this to ALOT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. After a tow company damages your car they will leave you out to dry. This company has cost me so much money and time im a single mother and i feel taken advantage of. This was my only source of transportation and they gave me the run around for weeks to say they are not fixing my car. So now i have to pay to get my car out the shop and pay for the repairs out of pocket which i was directed to take the car to the shop from the insurance company. I had to tow the car to the dealership because he cracked my radiator and now i have to tow it back. THATS 600 dollars without even getting the car fixed!!! Im so disappointed in this company. I will be contacting a lawyer because from all the reviews i have read, they damage majority of the cars they have towed. We should not have to pay for their mistakes. It saddens me to know that business are allowed to get away with this unethical practices. I basically paid them to damage my vehicle. My insurance company is USSA i cannot believe they are even associated with a company like this. USSA is a upstanding company but If they are gonna do business with company they will be losing a customer.Review fromAlice Y

1 starMy car was towed from my driveway due to a flat tire, so I called my insurance company for roadside assistance. The towing driver scratched my rear wheel hubs, but I only noticed after he had left. When I reported the damage to the company, their customer service was unprofessional and made it difficult for me to submit all the required proofs without clearly communicating what was missing through emails. After speaking with a representative and submitting additional evidence, I thought I had finally resolved the chaotic situation. However, the representative told me I needed to submit more photos as proof. Before a decision was made, the driver who towed my car called my personal phone number, claiming he didnt scratch my car and accused me of trying to steal his money. He threatened to take me to court, which I found both audacious and harassing. This could be considered illegal and verbal harassment. To make matters worse, the company ultimately denied my claim, allowing the driver to get away with the damage. Now, I have to spend $610 to fix my wheels and another $300 to rent a car due to this mistake. The company is essentially protecting their employees misconduct, knowing I wouldn't hire a lawyer, which would cost me another $3000 to recover $600.The towing driver looked intimidating, and as a woman, I fear continuing to pursue my money. This company is clearly unethical, with bad people protecting each other. Shame on this company and everyone who works there.Review fromMichael M

1 starcalled my insurance company to get my truck towed for the next day through Agero. The repair shop/Tow company informed me the next that they had not received a ** to tow my truck. I called the next day and was connected with Agero and come to find out the tow had been canceled. I tried to get them to send the ** to my repair-shop/tow company and wound up arguing me. I said fine I'll just call the tow company myself and file a reimbursement claim with my insurance company which I have road side assist with. Don't use, deal with or recommend Agero for anything. I have no idea how they got an A+ with the BBB? I'll give a MINUS -2 STARS.
