As a new provider I had high expectations to be part of such a gigantic roadside dispatching company, but it has been nothing but a huge disappointment.I rarely get calls even though I am in a very busy area, I have tried to even lower my rates which mind you are already at the lowest tier one can sign up for, but Agero has repeatedly denied my request to lower it. I personally know other companies that have a lower negotiated rate thus they get all the calls. It seems like a mafia, they can lower for some but not for others. I always get a lame excuse from Agero advocates saying that I need to get more calls and to raise the score but how can one get calls when they force you to accept a higher rate from the get go?!? How can one increase the score when one does not get calls?!? They already pay very low to begin with and then they ask for extremely pricey insurance coverages, how can anyone survive if you sit and sit waiting for calls while paying for all the expenses of a company!? They dispatch once in a blue moon and when you put a realistic ETA that matches the *** ETA, they proceed to decline it!!!! You cannot start a company under these duresses, it is impossible to stay afloat while using Agero as your roadside dispatching company. Same goes to Auto Rescue Solutions, Honk etc Customers here are mad because they don't know the truth behind it all. Agero has been a watse of time and money, causing me stress and stress related illness. Stay away from Agero, stay away from wanting to become a roadside assistance tech, not worth it at all!!!

They deserve 0 stars. Agero should be shut down for fraudulent behavior and their damage claims department is a joke. Don't count on ever getting paid for damages done by their roadside assistance even with evidence. It's all a charade and they read back a textbook reason as to why which makes absolutely no sense to the situation. I have read over a hundred posts about them damaging cars and not paying the claims and NOT ONE where they actually paid for the damage. They damaged my car and it cost thousands of dollars to fix. The towing company employee who showed up was high as a kite and clearly incompetent. I had photo evidence of the damages and the mechanic who repaired my car telling them the only way it could have been damaged was by the roadside assistance company and the claim was denied. State farm uses Agero so do yourself a favor and decline their roadside assistance! Will be cancelling and going to AAA after this nightmare. Again avoid Agero!! Their towing contractors appear to damage cars regularly and they do not take any responsibility for it! Extremely disappointed that I trusted state farm and this company to help me when I was in need and ended up having to spend thousands of dollars to have a drive able car!

Used this company through USAA. The driver left the car in the middle of street close to my neighbors house. Since the car could not start, my husband asked the driver if he could either park it at our home (the original request) or at least jump it so he can move it to our house. ****** said nope and drove off. My husband had to put the car in neutral and push it himself down the street. We are also submitting a complaint with USAA.

I had a horrible experience with this company. They were not available to help when we needed them. We were about 30 miles from home and stranded. They didn't have anyone for a battery check or for towing in the middle of the night. We were cold and had to look into alternate methods of transportation on our own. Had to wait until the next day to get a tow. And when they did tow it they towed the car to the wrong location. Not the roadside service someone would rely on in an emergency.

I called Progressive roadside assistance at 6:18am for a dead battery from home in ******* **, as all neighbors were still asleep it seemed. The claim was filed at 6:25am and I received a text message confirmation saying it was received at 6:29am. At 6:37am I received a text saying "Progressive: ************************* ******* has been dispatched. ETA 35-45min" and included his phone number. At 7:14 I finally texted ***** who then tells me he just contacted a driver who will be on his way, coming from another city 30 minutes away. I called Progressive who transferred me to Agero to complain about the situation, and all they offered to do was call the guy who had finally called me to say he was on his way. The lady refused to provide me the name of their company until I demanded several times, and refused to tell me the state the company was registered in. The guy finally arrived at 8:06. My daughter missed practice, was late to school, and I was even later to work. How someone cannot be dispatched that long after, and from another city 30 minutes away is baffling. This was unacceptable service and as a result of Progressive contracting with this company, I'm not sure I wish to remain with Progressive.

I called ***** Roadside Assistance on January 18, **** from a parking lot in ******, **. They were going to send a tow truck from *********, ** to try to jump start the car. I realized how far away that was and contacted the garage (Lion Country Automotive) directly to cancel. Since I had given my debit card information, the charge of $161.40 was deducted from our account with the company name Agero Roadside Assistance . I called Agero on January 19, ****, and requested a refund. I was told it would take **** business days. I never received the refund. I called again on February 1, ****, explained the situation and was transferred to the Roadside Department. At that point they say that they have no record of my name, phone number or VIN number in their system. I was advised to contact my financial institution, PSECU, which I did and filed a dispute. Thank goodness, the local ***** garage in *******, ** sent a truck and our son-in-law picked up me and my disabled husband on a very cold winter day!

Terrible service. I called to schedule a tow, and the agent took my information and told me the tow was covered under my policy. 2 1/2 hours later I hadn't received a text from Agero or the towing company so I called back to check on my service. The agent entered an incorrect phone number for me and the wrong tow-to address. The 2nd agent quoted me a $400+ tow fee and said the first agent didn't even process my service. The 2nd agent was supposed to transfer me to member services, but that wasn't an option for the number she transferred me to. I spoke to 5 Agero agents and 3 State Farm agents in total before figuring things out myself. Conflicting information, automated phone service, time wasted...I'm rethinking my State Farm policy now.

Not even 1 star I went back and forth for DAYS with Agero about a road side service company they have hired to dispatch to ************** customers and each time they would introduce a new person pr department to handle my complaint I hit a pothole and popped my tire on the night of 1/19/2024. Police had to come block me and put down flares for safety due to the condition of the roads and temperature that night. They sat with me through a shift change.....I literally heard from no one until the 23rd (******************************************* or Agero) to see if my car had made it to it destination What happened was very serious and I could have been killed. It was a 13 degree night and I was sitting on the side of a very slippery highway. My car could have been sitting on the side of the road still if it wasn't for the ******** ***************** putting a spare tire on Agero and ******************************************* totally let the ball drop and it appears I am not the only one that has went through a similar situation after reading others reviews. I would like to know if ******************************************* is even certified and approved to be on Agero's Provider List. Doubt it

As a service provider working 7 days a week. Must say, I had no idea what I had signed up for. Half of the calls for Agero are charity work. Grind life is real when you have to scramble to stay in business. I used to wonder why other service providers are rude and unpunctual. Stress all day for little pay. Its a broken abused system but now I see the vision. Everyone should be able to afford a tow. Thank you to all insurance companies that give of their resources to help the vision. Please be patient. You can always find a mom and pop tow business and get reimbursed if your wait is long. Thank the generous clientele that keeps us going. Keep the grind going Agero! Dispatch efficiently to help us stay in business 1 good call 1 bad call
