I checked in the room today seventeen hundred dollars for a month paid in advance I was there 3 hours the room smells absolutely disgusting. The betting smells like it's been used. It will make you gag. I called the front desk and told them I would like to leave. I would like a refund of my $1700. They told me there is no refund. The man had a very nasty attitude. Then he called **************** on me and Had me trust past off the property. The police and the hotel staff made me leave in the middle of the night. It is 38 outside. The hotel. Took my last $1700 off my card and told me that it's not refundable. The man that called the police told me he was the general manager of some sort. This is how they treat their guests at sanesta in ********, ****. The man needs fired. He falsified a police report and told the police that he feels threatened by me. I cannot believe this could happen to somebodySonesta International Hotels Corporation

Sonesta in *******, on Poplar street. The first time was good. I am a patient of ************ that his office connects to the hotel. It was very convenient and the room was clean. The next time I stayed this year 2023, the key reader didn't work so you had to have the staff let you in and out of your room. The bathroom and sheets were clean. The bathroom floor& kitchen was so dirty it was sticky got cleaning wipes, etc. I booked for 12,2,23 thru 12/8/23 and could not get a conformation from email from the front desk, I finally went to your direct line to book my reservation. Sent me a copy by email later. I called the front desk to verify my reservation, they told me didn't have one for me, so I booked again with the front desk, thinking my online was cancelled or never made. They finally sent a confirmation. I check in 12/3/23, they gave me a different quote, the room was dirty, loud partying, the hallways smelled like pot and it seemed the only guests staying were the staff, saw the dr. on 12/4 could not do surgery so wanted to check out early on 12/5 and go back home. The front desk said it was fine and they would email me a receipt beings I was leaving before the front desk opened. Never received . I realize on 12/8 that I was thanked and charged for 5 not for the 2. I get the run around from the staff, I file a dispute with the main office and was told it was up to the manager to refund un-stayed nights and if they declined there was nothing they could do.. They ran my card thru on 11-8-23 before I had even checked in. Do not stay at this horrible place. They are a total rip off. I have told the *************** they should not recommend. Unprofessional throughout from Main to individual hotel. I was overcharged for poor service and dirty facility,Sonesta International Hotels Corporation

1 starI booked a suite 12-5-23 with 2 rooms- 2 bathrooms-living rm and kitchen. The website advertised this suite hotel had Hot Breakfast Bar-Special Cleaning due to COVID. Upon arrival we checked in and I called front desk and asked them to send housekeeping back to our rooms. The kitchen table and counters were dirty, cups had lipstick on them. I had to knock on a door that was the housekeeping office to get a rag with cleaner on it and some dishwasher soap. Here are the items that we called to get fixed or to at least report so that we did not get blamed for them.(Can send pics)
The sheets looked clean-towel stained. The dishwasher was not mounted down properly and when you opened the dishwasher it would fall forward. Dangerous for small children.
The Sonesta advertised hot breakfast so the next morning my husband went to the lobby to get breakfast only to be told they do not provide it. My husband talked to the manager and told him of the condition of the rooms and amenities that were advertised to us from the website-his response was that he called to have the website updated and they never did it. He told us to call the customer service 800#. My husband came back to the room , called 800# and the girl gave him such a run around I took over the call.
We got back to the hotel late and everyone was exhausted. Myself, Daughter and Granddaughter voted to make due-husband wanted to leave. The girls went to the store and picked cleaning supplies and we cleaned the rooms the best we could. Next day we asked for housecleaning to at least pick up garbage and they never came. I went to the front desk several times only to find no one there. I can send you the responses from the 800# and my response to their email if you want. It was not my first intention to ask for a monetary compensation but I ended up asking for $135. Refund. I have pictures I can send or you can see them in the hotels review website. 1 starSonesta Simply Suites ******* ******** simply dont stay they like to take ppl money there is some fraudulent ? activity going on here my first and last time staying ?.. management is horrible and they system charge my card twice I was told this has happened to other guest as well and told me its nothing they can do the unprofessionalism I ?receive from management was absurd and not acceptable ?how was I quoted 113$ but end up getting $426 taken out of my account .. and then you have someone that really have no knowledge to how to handle this situation I am very disappointed in the whole situation I just want you guys to know my experience was horrible I still havent been reimbursed all of my money yet .. I put this out on face book ?the general manager should be held accountable he didnt even apologize on their behalf had me waiting in the lobby over 30mins on New Years Eve when Im there at your hotel to get a piece of mind . It didnt work out that way .. 1 starThe front desk agent at the sonesta ******* north location ****** was extremely rude and condescending when asking about the rate of the room being different from what is online with the friends and family discount (family works for RL + sonesta) and said we dont do that here when they are in fact required to offer 5% of total rooms at that rate. Then when I explained to her that they are required to reserve 5% of the rooms at that rate she said it would need to be approved by a manager and wouldnt be done tonight I went and booked it myself at that rate online with the provided code and went back to check in. She didnt speak a single word and just made the key, ran my card and threw the key on the desk. This will no doubt be the last time I stay at *********** north location despite most of the staff being excellent so far at this location.Review fromNancy M

I am giving a one rating to Sonestas cooperate office. We have been having our employees stay in one of their motels for the last 3 years. It was a motel that used to be owned by IHG. IHG was wonderful to work with! So, this year Sonesta decided that they were not awarding us points for our stay although they were always awarded to us in years past. Of course, they only let us know this decision after our employees had stayed there 5-6 months. We will NEVER pay to stay at another Sonesta motel!Sonesta International Hotels Corporation

Sonesta ******** is clean. Sonesta es ********* ******* east is probably the one all of these reviews are at. Weve been in this hotel room more than 24 hours, so I feel like we should get a prize, because a lot of people on the ****** reviews, just leave immediately, and leave their entire amount paid, just for his Sonesta to laugh about. Anyway, its been one night, and I have spent the first day of my vacation talking with the Sonesta representative over the phone about a rash that I received from sleeping on bacteria ridden bedsheets for just one night. here in *******, the Sonesta suites in parameter hasnt had Internet for almost a year, and so you know the TVs dont work as well. Its dirty, its unsafe, the employees are fighting customers in the front office, which is a fun treat. Whats even more fun is when you call in to customer service and tell them that this hotel room should be definitely burned to the ground because of how bad it is, nothing will be done because you didnt book through their website. If you pay them through someone else, they will not care what happens to you on their property by their property, which is crazy. Already to just survive this hotel room, I have purchased an Internet hotspot through my telephone company, a Roku, all of the cords, an international remote, sheets, I would buy a microwave too, but would that be overkill for just a vacation? The hotel addressed the guest issues by personally speaking to her while she was still at the property, by upgrading her to the loft, which was personally checked by our housekeeping supervisor,and by compensating her with ****** points, which is equivalent to one complimentary night for her issues. She was happy with these resolutions before departing our hotel.
No further compenstation will be given.

1 starSONESTA SIMPLY SUITES LOCATED AT **** ******** ********** ***** *****, GOT TO BE ONE OF THE WORST HOTEL EVER, the staff and then the property the rms the appliances the lining, my 1st rm 233 the bedding was dirty the carpet was nasty the refrigerator was filthy, they moved me to rm132 it had roaches the mattress was filthy as well the bedding the handle on the cabinet hanging off, fire alarm hanging, wall socket damaged the door on the drawer hanging off, this room for someone with special needs it was very inconvenience, for me I didnt have the bathroom counter and etc. my tire was stolen off my car on there lot nothing they told me that I had to get it fixed or they was going to tow my car, Also they run my card for someone in rm 333 upon me asking ********************* about the transaction she stated that she didnt know why my card was run for another rm with the person name on my receipt now she is the assistant general manager and she couldnt answer why my card was charged 120$ I believe, for a stranger whom I dont know once I bought them complaints, they began to treat me and my kids bad then they TEXT my daughter telephone and stated that they willnt be taken anymore payments and that I was no longer a resident there now here 6 days later Im no longer at Sonesta they trying to charge my card and my daughter card 100$,50$,20$ now our cards or frozen ***************************** AND ********************* they are so unprofessional, when there is a situation that need to be address ******* go in the finding and she is the general manager, you have to speak with ***** the assistant general manager unprofessional person at the front there if she dont like you for her own personal business she harasses you to make you uncomfortable to leave, she is very nasty, rude, row her eyes at you she dont talk to you she talk at you again very unprofessional. I only hope that they arent the face Sonesta because they arent rude, judgement, very unprofessional, not friendly to darker skin people.
