I think Sonesta hotel I stayed **** not care about you once you give them your money to stay.I was in a room for weeks with slimy mold underneath the refrigerator and a stinky smell that became unbearable.I feel they pretend to be so nice but really arent when you let them know whats wrong they turn against you.I feel that they profile and if you arent who they want to stay there you are uncomftable.My opinion is if you care about spending your hard earned money do not put it in there pockets.They also will overcharge for deposits it seems and they do not seem to add up and every bank I had did not understand what they were doing which seem to cause high alerts. Do not stay there if you care about yourself and your life.This is my opinion.If I could give minus 100 or more I would.Sonesta International Hotels Corporation

The is absolute the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at! The customer service upon check-in was awful! The room and floors were EXTREMELY dirty! The shower was filthy! The bedding was also soiled, especially the comforter! I had the representative come look and she was mortified. She said she would bring back new bedding and brought back a sheet and fitted sheet and I had to change the linen. There was no extra comforters or blankets so my husband and I were cold during the night.- ********* was at full capacity so we were not able to move rooms. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKNG FOR A CLEAN COMFORTABLE PLACE TO RELAX! IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU SAVE!Sonesta International Hotels Corporation

I am very upset I stood in ********* ** from Aug 1 till the ***** was asked to leave a 100 dollar deposit which I did its now Aug ********************************************************************* it my bank fault I called corporate they say it was refunded back I mean this is my hard working money and am getting bs around I would never stay at any of there hotels again I will make sure I let everyone i know also that this place is trash.I will not stop till I get my moneySonesta International Hotels Corporation

A person that works at the front desk named *******, was extremely rude to me. I am nice to all employees, and found this to be extremely unacceptable. This really hurt my feelings.This occurrence was at Sonesta Simply Suites **** *************, *********, ******. Again, the person's name is *******Sonesta International Hotels Corporation

I am sorry to hear about the experience you had with one of our employees. I have spoken to the employee and understand you were upset about not receiving supplies at the front desk. As explained to you by our housekeeping manager your room will be restocked as needed during your weekly service dates. This will allow you time to utilize the supplies you have collected in your room over the time you have been staying at the hotel. Im sorry if you felt our employee was being rude but I insure you that was not her intention. 2 starsDISAPPOINTED! We stayed in late July of this year at this hotel as it was our first family vacation and trip to **********. Upon arrival we were told they had no vending machines, only the small shop in the lobby. With kids, thats a little tough but we made do just fine. For the five days there, the tv went out. Then the bathroom in the lobby over flooded causing smelly water to ******* the first floor nearing the elevators. We checked out 7/25 and 7mins down the road to *** airport, I had realized my daughter left her gifted ********** blanket on the double bed. Called immediately and explained to which I was told to file a claim on a website. Promptly did as told and went into detail not only the description of the blanket but the location as well as attached photos of the blanket.Pushing almost a month and they cant seem to locate the blanket nor has anybody who took my number four times called back it just doesnt add up. Sonesta *******-Lombard has several fraudulent practices, and possible illegal hiring practices and is not a hotel. My company was only willing to pay a portion of my stay, I had to cover the rest. I wanted a quiet, easy access and safe. My 1st room in smelled like an ash tray and had burn marks on the rug, tables, counters, the screaming neighbors removed by police, dog barking and the ***** by my sink. I moved to another building. There was partying at 2am, smoking weed every night so much my clothes smelled. I called the front desk, and nothing was done. Sonesta was to clean the rooms every 2 wks they never did but once. They finally posted a sign that room cleaning is add't $75. Next no clean sheets unless you pay $10. Then the room rate changed from $66.33 ($1900/mo) to $70 ($2100/mo) w/o notice and now $119/night ($3570/mo). My room smelled like an ash tray every time I walked in someone is smoking downstairs. The front told me the rooms aren't connected so I wasn't smelling smoke. I went to pay one time and was told I was checked out of my room and another person was booked there. I paid $1000 and found out that they didn't apply and was charging my card and late fees. Another time a very tall front desk guy blamed me and stated I was demagnetizing the card. I found out he was only activating for a week. The police are called at least once a week, dogs' ****, people BBQ, smoke, anywhere and everywhere. People have two big grills under the stairs. The pool has been closed since I have been here. This location is very unprofessional and needs a total overhaul management leaves guest more uncomfortable and dissatisfied. My encounters reflect the leadership. The price changes makes me wonder if the new staff hired are being paid under the table and not a fair wage because they do not speak English. The only reason I haven't left is my company hasn't completed my transfer but at this rate it would be worth leaving this disreputable location of ill repute.Sonesta International Hotels Corporation

Sonesta **********- very disappointed in the way Sonesta ********** unethically took my money without giving a services, we had to cancel a trip due to misunderstandings and disability reasons. Sonesta Management did not even an alternative solution to fix the problem. Sonesta ********** refused to offer a refund for a non-refundable room, through Expedia. Expedia gracefully accepted to give a refund, but could not since Sonesta charged their virtual card. *******************************, assistant GM was contacted and stated incorrect information, putting the blame on the third party Expedia. Meanwhile Expedia stated the *** was incorrect and knew the process of how their partnership worked. General Manager ************* was contacted as well, even with more than enough documentation, they refused to give an alternative solution or a refund. They defended the unethical practices by the ***. Sonesta Corporate was reached and offered no alternative solution, a complaint was filed with the attorney General of **********, the BBB and the **** The attorney general has requested Sonesta International hotel come to an amicable resolution with me, as Management and corporate have stoped responding to my professional emails stating nothing but facts. Sonesta Global Headquarters, please get involved as your partners, Sonesta International Hotels and Sonesta ********** have refused to give me an alternative solution to solving this matter or a refund. They have expressed bad business practices that are unethical and go against your own policies. You cannot charge someone for their hard earn money without providing a service, especially since the third party Expedia has agreed to refund monies. Failure to reach a resolution that benefits all parties and continue to be at an impasse will drive me and my family to explore all options and resources.Sonesta International Hotels Corporation

BEWARE BEWARE!!!! Read all the comments about fraudulent charges on your credit cards. I reserved a room for 25 days, paid almost $4500, ( for this dump)in FULL AT THE **** OF BOOKING. After the first week, my card was changed another $850. It took a week, 3 trips to the front desk and an email to the online booking site to get my money back. They refunded me minus the $250 deposit, AND THEN they have tried to charge me ANOTHER $250 EVERY SINGLE DAY, since then. I am fully aware that it takes 5-7 days to get refunded HOWEVER, MY ISSUE IS THAT THEY STILL TRY TO CHARGE MY CARD EVERY DAY, even though I DO NOT owe anything. My bill is PAID IN FULL. Thankfully I have locked my card so they can't STEAL ANYMORE money from me. The room is infested with roaches, we have to leave our things in our garage and unpack so we don't bring bugs in our new home. The hot tub didn't work for 2 weeks. The breakfast sux. Exact same food everyday. The second night we were there, someone threw a huge boulder through the window of our U-Haul. Someone definitely needs to find out what's going on with the unsavory accounting practices.
