Our experience with Devoted Giveback **************** Advantage Plan has been excellent. All our physician's are covered. Even though we had an issue where our PCP, an RN, wasn't directly covered, thus we had a co-pay, it got resolved by the practitioner's office. All contacts with Devoted have been prompt, pleasant, professional and genuinely friendly. I was with UnitedHealthcare MA for 13 years and it became obvious and frustrating dealing with an entity that is too big to be effective with patients. Prior to last year, I had no knowledge of Devoted, but when I saw the breadth of its benefits and that all our providers were covered I, with my wife, decided to sign with them. We figured a much smaller company would provide better customer service. It has. We hope the company stays competitive and becomes profitable to give us the opportunity to use them next year and beyond.

      Dear ****,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Devoted Giveback **************** Advantage Plan! Were thrilled to hear that all your physicians are covered and that the issue with your PCP was quickly resolved. Its wonderful to know that our team has provided prompt, professional, and friendly service. We truly value your trust in switching to us after 13 years with another provider, and were so glad that you and your wife are happy with your decision. Your feedback is incredibly important, and were committed to staying competitive and continuing to deliver excellent service. We look forward to serving you for many years to come!

Devoted has become the worst insurance I have ever had. This will be my las year with the network. The doctors in this network seam to be so busy they can't keep appointments. They feel I have to change my appoint for their convivence. I have been on testosterone for over 5 years and now it seems I can't get a refill. I call made an appointment for tomorrow. I did my blood workup last week and now I'm told that they don't have the results. When you call this facility you are lucky to get an answer. I attem[*** 4 time today before the answered the phone.

      Dear **************,

I apologize for your experience and any inconvenience caused. We strive to ensure our members are satisfied with their providers and needs are met. I'm glad to reach out to the provider and assist with resolving your issue. I can also help with a new provider search if you are interested. I left a message for your PCP to return my call and sent you an email so we can open up lines of communication.

      Thank you for your feedback,

******************Let me first start by saying I am an Insurance Coordinator for a ************* in ****. The Doctor's in the office went out of network with Delta Dental PPO, due to Devoted Health. We stayed in network with Delta Dental Premier. Devoted Health, in my opinion, is the worst Healthcare Insurance for patients. The Representative's flat out LIE to people when asking if the Doctor's are in the network with the plans with Devoted Health. I have had several patient's that chose Devoted Health and specifically asked by names, if our Doctor's was in their network and they would tell them yes. I have even contacted Delta Dental (Devoted Health) and tried to speak with them and they couldn't even speak the truth with me. I contacted them in the beginning of this year when I had our first patient come in with a Devoted Health card. The patient stated that Devoted Health told her we were in network with them. I spoke with a Representative from Delta Dental (Devoted Health) and the Representative stated that our office is not a PPO or *************** so the patient could not come to our office. I stated Our office is Premier and they argued with me about the issue. They practically hung up the phone on me. My next step is to write a complaint letter to the *************** of ********** Devoted Health SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO BE A COMPANY THAT OFFERS INSURANCE. They are misleading and misinforming people!!!

Make sure you check with the doctor's ****** first before your visit or any major issue you have & ask if they are contracted with Devoted Insurance. The doctor & the facility I visited were both listed as being in Devoted's network. However, I was told by the surgery coordinator/scheduler that even though Devoted was listed, Prisma was not contracted with Devoted, therefore my surgery would have to be paid out of pocket. I reached out to Devoted & was told that didn't sound right & to have her contact them directly. So, I called the ************* & asked her to call Devoted & the surgery scheduler told me she was just being honest & upfront with me because she didn't want me to end up with a huge bill that I would be responsible for paying like another one of their patients who insisted on going through with his surgery after being told by Devoted it would be covered & it was not. I asked why they were listed as being in network then & was told it was Devoted's responsibility to remove themselves from the list. I am still confused & to make matters worse, my insurance agent who signed me up for this plan will not return my phone calls.

Wow! Had I reviews before signing up during last yr enrollment I NEVER would have. Was going to use the as second insurance. Like my previous UHC ******** Advantage. I have BCBS MEDICAL ONLY with my employer. Gave ******* who signed me up every detail & told him I have NO ALTERNATE DRUG COVERAGE. Gave all *********** on BCBS card & still Devoted denied my 2 routine meds. Talked to so many Devoted Reps it literally wore me out. I ran back to UHC !!! Had no problem getting my prescriptions filled cause UHC understands how to verify Insurance. Am filing a complaint with ******** too.

Devoted OTC is terrible. Sent wrong order. Had to call and read back order manually. Finally received correct order. Ordered this quarters order and received box with no packing. Stuff just shaking around inside. This health coverage is no better than any other plan that I have had. Same old service and nothing changes. May look else ware next year. Less availability of PCP in my area compared to other plans I have had.

Devoted is the third advantage plan I've tried, to match my needs. It's official now: These plans are made for those who use name brand remedies, as opposed to wellness and prevention products. Every single item I use to keep my body healthy, is not covered. I will just have to continue purchasing all these items independently and find other uses for the card. Frustrating.Navigating care providers: All kinds of hoops to jump through and provider's who take the insurance, but require a preliminary appointment, which must be paid for out of pocket, in full, at time of service.A clinic may have a single doctor on staff who accepts Devoted. This translates to being billed, when someone else steps in for your provider. Plus out of network provider's cannot give referrals.I am saddened that we cannot have Single Payer Healthcare.

I just started with Devoted Prime this year. So far, I am very pleased with it. Customer Service is always accessible and very knowledgeable. I used my OTC benefit for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! When I walked into CVS an employee saw that I had my Devoted catalogue and took the time to explain how to shop with it. It is extremely easy. I hope that I continue to experience a good year with Devoted.

Switched to Devoted for it's robust dental coverage that i badly need this year. Unfortunately they require preauthorization for me to receive meds I have taken for year. Now my Doctor needs to justify why i need these meds and instead of 90 day supply of meds they limit it to 30 days. That means every month I have to go to the pharmacy, walk to the back of the store and wait in line with no place to sit, even though I have severe chronic pain and mobility issues making it impossible to walk or stand for more than 5 minutes. Instead of trying to solve these issues I am told they understand how I feel but this is what i have to face. My Cpap was purchased through my last insurance but I still have 5 payments before i own it. My provider for the machine and supplies is not in network with Devoted. My ************ for the last payments of my machine are to choose to pay higher copays for the out of network company or switch to the in network provider, return my old machine and get a new one with the in network provider and begin the payments all over again. How is that the right way to handle things. Oh, yes, it makes more money for the in network provider while taking money away from a senior on social security, without savings to fall back on. Devoted talks about caring for the patient but so far all they've done is hurt me, in several ways. I cant stay with them and survive the additional pain, poverty and anxiety they are causing.
