Unfortunately I can't choose zero stars, as that would be the appropriate choice. Plan shows that eye exam is covered, so I choose a local optometrist who is shown as in-network. Six weeks later I get a letter saying my eye exam is not covered, though the doctor is "on" their list. Excuse is Devoted only pays for medical claims using this doctor, not an eye exam. No indication on their list that this is the case. Response I got was I should have called and ask the doctor to verify coverage before my appointment. Absurd. Another example. Given a debit card (clearly states DEBIT on it) for dental. Dentist I chose said if the card is debit (ie requires a pin) there is no surcharge, but as a credit transaction there is a fee. Number given to get a pin asks for last 4 of user id. Asked ********************** what the id is for the card. Response: use as a credit card. Want to see claims paid? Wait 2 months for a letter with claims listed. No website inquiry exists. STAY AWAY! Touts as a caring organization driven by technology. Hardly the case. Can't wait for open enrollment to leave this mess.

I wish I had never chose DEVOTED ******** ADVANTAGE PLAN. They refuse to approve 2 medications I have taken for ***************************************************************************************** there that the only documentation from my primary care provider fir necessity is 1. Dx of ADAHD, 2. DX OF NARCOLEPSY DOCUMENTED ON SLEEP STUDY, AND 3. FATIGUE DUE TO HAVING CANCER AND ALL OTHER REASONS FOR FATIGUE WERE RULED OUT. I take methylphenidate fir MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. I have taken it since ****. I also take temazepam for sleep because, documented on sleep studies I DO NOT GET INTO REM SLEEP. They are over stepping their scope of practice by deciding WHAT diagnosis are allowed in the use of these medications for treatment. The physician orders it but in THEIR OPINION that is not good enough. I will NEVER recommend DEVOTED INSURANCE. They are becoming to worst provider. Avoid them at all costs.

I dont know like their doctors, their skill facilities, or their customer service representatives. I could explain why, but I would have to write a book. This is my last year with Devoted . My husband was in intensive care for a month and they had not assigned him a case manager. Only customer service could I speak to. No hospital representation for patient care. This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.

This company sucks! I can't wait till open enrollment to dump them. I do not wish to write a Novel, which is practically necessary to voice all my complaints so I'll just mention a few. Most recently, my recently earned Devoted Dollars Card will not work at my most shopped food store even though my Devoted Healthy Foods card will. I've tried calling to find out why but ***** was no help. She did not listen to my questions or requests but continued to quote information that was incorrect or easily understood because it's printed right on the card. After going through the same questions over and over again, It became apparent that she was incapable of any assistance. I requested to speak with a manager. She began by repeating the same useless information regardless of it's relevancy. I have a 132 IQ so it's not a problem of me understanding things. When she finally got around to answering my simple question of "which stores will accept the card", her answer was that Devoted doesn't provide a list of stores that will accept the card. She couldn't even name one store that would.Speaking of things that don't work, EVERY time I try to sign into the *** website, my password doesn't work. I have to receive a link through my email to change it. Sometimes I receive it and other times I don't so I have to retry. I'm only allowed to request a password change three times and then I'm locked out. Even after calling customer service I'm told I have to wait at least 24 hours before I can request another password change link. A couple of electronic items that I ordered through their very limited *** benefit list didn't work. When I called about it, I was told to call another number that handles that. Of course they didn't do anything. I was told someone would be in touch with me soon. That never happened. I didn't bother to call again about nonworking items. By the way, the quarterly *** benefit allowance was decreased from $300 to $200.I only have 29 characters left so I'll end

This is my 3rd year with Devoted and its my last. Thec1st 2 years were in ******* and the coverage was great. Medications were covered and what wasn't, a coupon was used. Now, we're in **** and they suck! The covered meds last year aren't. My husband has COPD and there isn't one medication we can afford so he can breath. *** begged and pleaded to devoted to find something for him and they refuse. I finally got the pcp to refer him to a pulmonologist and he can't get in until May. Meanwhile, our only option is the hospital. They'll just send him home with a duoneb, which gives him excruciating headaches. As long as CVS/Caremark is involved with an insurance plan, they will control the amount of greed with the medications. They're a disgusting conglomerate that makes their money off of seniors and Devoted is going along with it. NO MORE DEVOTED! THEYRE SCAMMERS!!

What can I say! ?? Fabulous! I've had other plans previously; yes, occasionally they'd reach out to you. Nothing like Devoted. To coin a young person's phrase " You Rock"!

Avoid this company at all costs. I have been on meds for over 20 years and this is THE ONLY company that denys covering them. They make rules like a 7day period that a provider must submit a prior authorization or it is denied. And why would the company NEED 5 levels to dispute a denial? I am so done with this company. I am a retired RN and they are stepping beyond their job description. If a patient cannot receive a medication they need and have needed for medical necessity for over 20 years, what kind if impact does that have on the patients well being. This company IS NOT interested in patient needs. It is all about how much money they can make.

Yesterday, for the third day in a row, I found myself unable to urinate without excruciating pain. This was a result of my swollen prostrate. It SOUNDS and FEELS quite serious, but can be mitigated by a single pill named **********, of which I had run out. I had recently switched to Devoted Health Systems during the Open Enrollment period for ********* I had yet to make the first appointment. I called Devoteds ****** Services number on the card When the lady began speaking, I interrupted her and related my drama. She listened quietly and let me finish. I wanted to be angry because I couldnt get anyone during the weekend, that was irrelevant. I COULD HAVE gone to an Emergency room, but I decided to tough it out. After she listened so intently, she asked if I could do a ************************************* with a nurse within the next hour or so. I told her that I could. She apologized for my discomfiture and told me that she would get my problem me resolved. Within thirty minutes, a nurse practitioner named **** called me and we FaceTimed. She also apologized and after she completed her assessment (less than ten minutes), she told me that she just sent a prescription to my pharmacy that should be ready within thirty minutes. I couldnt be angry because the problem, which I created, was solved. I just needed to know my copay and asked her. She said: Ive ordered you a ninety days supply. and theres no out of pocket cost for you. I felt like I needed to crawl underneath a rock for my earlier attempt to tell her a thing or two! Devoted, in the end, solved a problem they didnt create and the solution made me almost forget the pain. Devoted exemplified what Service Recovery means. They took a lemony situation and made lemon meringue out of it! Im looking forward to this relationship because the FIRST thing they did was to build trust. And thats what proves that they live up to their name..DEVOTED. Health Systems!**************************************

I love Devoted Health and they are highly regarded at ****** Clinic ********, **. The only thing I don't care for is the phone calls to schedule a virtual appointment. They say it's to make sure their records are up to date. All my Drs. use Devoted Health so they should know what my records indicate as Devoted pays the bills. We get enough nuisance phone calls, I don't need one from our health care professionals. We always take care of ourselves and go to the Dr. for all tests that are coming up as well as any problems we are having.
