      I work in the fire protection business where during the winter a lot of pipes freeze causing them to burst. I wanted to send an email to 75 customers on how to prevent such situations from occurring at their locations. I signed up for the lite plan for $12 a month, sent 75 emails and haven't used the service since.I check my financial statements and notice they've been billing me $35 a month. When I call to ask why and to refund my money, they tell me I'm in a 500-1,000 user plan. I tell them I only sent 75 emails and never used the service and they told me it's based on how many contacts I have, not how many I sent.I ask the rep if I have ********* contacts and I send 1 email through constant contact if they'd bill me based on a million people and they said yes. These guys are scam artists and a bunch of scumbags. Gave them 2 stars because the email worked as described.These guys are shady crooks. If you need emails sent, get a simon **** card and don't let these crooks siphon money from you.

      Been trying to cancel my subscription since last 3 months and not word from their customer service, you can't cancel online (Hello CC it's 21st Centaury and the only reason you exist is Internet) What is the difference between a Street Scammer and Constant? None. No one talks to you back after taking you money. A scam company run by a bunch of scammers, who let you sign up and then keep charging without returning your calls, messages for months. Unsubscribing to you is impossible, no calls answered, no messages, emails, chat replied. And banks like ***************** are you partners in crime.

      Money robbing high priced garbage with smug customer service reps who love to tell you they are " non refundable" horrible customer service- emails you on an email you can not reply to - was offered money back then told I was NOT getting refunded AND that my account has been closed so i cannot even use the service I have paid for. SAVE YOUR MONEY use mailchimp instead . STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT UPSTART COMPANY

      Can't change my account, once you upgrade it seems impossible to change your payment plan. I like the email templates however there should be a way to downgrade your payment plan, it just sends you in circles the only option is to upgrade or leave it the same.

      Constant Contact offers no customer support beyond a bot that does not provide help. I have wasted hours trying to pay them. I always get an internal server error 500 message. This has been happening for over a month. Now, they turned off my ability to send email. If I call I get a message that hold times are in excess of 30 minutes. Twice the call disconnected after 20 minutes of hold music and messages. Chat support is nothing more than a bot that cannot provide help. I emailed support and received an auto-response that I would hear back in 14 days. Unreal.

      Do NOT do business with CONSTANT CONTACT! This company does not work in good faith to other businesses not that I'm here reading other reviews. We are a small business and thought we would give this company a try in an effort to grow our business. We contacted this company requesting information about the company and how it would work for us. He went over a few things and asked for our credit card. The salesperson said, "we will only put a ($20-$40) hold" or something like that - I can't remember the exact word he used; at any rate, he said our company card would not be charged for anything. I asked again to make sure I understood. Next, I was told, one of the salesperson for our area would reach out to me with more details and if we decide to go with their company our company credit card would then be charge. The sales person did call, but we never talked to them because they would call when no one was available to talk with them. The second time they called I said, I will call you back we are pretty busy this time of year.. Days later we get a charge on our credit card, and this month there is a pending charge. We call their billing department, they said - you talked with a salesperson therefore they were not going to credit our credit card. We ask how can you charge our card when we have not used your company for anything, other than call to get information. This company is UNETHICAL AND A SCAM. Do not waste you company staff time and energy. They do not deserve a one star.

      If I could give negative stars, I would. A caution to small businesses, you should not use this company as they do not do business in good faith. They refuse to issue a refund for services charged for but not provided. I see I am not the only person who has been defrauded by them by the recent comments here. On 10/26/23 I discovered that my new customers stopped syncing with my "thank you for your purchase" email campaign back in September 2022, and so I called customer service. After waiting over 30 minutes to speak to someone, the rep agreed that she saw on her end that there were no campaign emails sent after September 2022, so she asked the IT team for help and we were told that the "integration must have broken sometime around September 2022" and that if I continued to be a customer they would sync all of my customers over the last year and send my campaign at that time. I declined this, saying I wanted to cancel my service and in addition was seeking a refund for the $150+ in fees I paid for the year their "integration was broken." The rep was helpful and sent my case up for review to the managers. She said I would hear something by email or phone within 3-5 business days. Knowing that things like this typically take longer, I gave them a month to get back to me. I got no updates. Today (12/1/23) I called again to ask for an update, and was on hold for 40 minutes waiting to speak to someone. When a rep finally picked up, I was told that my case was reviewed and that they determined that the issue was not on their end, but that a one month $20 refund was indeed appropriate. I explained that I am paying for their service, so if their integration broke on their end and that service was not functional, how could the issue NOT be on their end? The rep told me that there were no other managers or any other people I could speak to to plead my case. Steer clear of using this company as they do not do business in good faith and are defrauding customers.

      If I could give a 0 rating I would. After contacting support online and sending in multiple requests to cancel they continued to charge my account and not cancel. I politely called today and told them the issue and their response was "You have to call to cancel due to security purposes". This business obviously doesn't care to improve especially after there multiple complaints. After you have signed up they make it extremely difficult to cancel. They just want your money. Most subscriptions you can sign up for always have an online option to cancel so this is just bizarre. Don't sign up for this other sites will benefit your business more. This is a total scam.

      Offer a free trial, however there is nothing free about it. They called me 5 minutes after I started to pay for it before I could even send one email. I paid for it hoping that I would actually be able to send an email, however they couldn't even set up my account for weeks. Tried to speak with customer service, however they couldn't understand my situation at all as they are outsourced and had no clue what they were doing.

      Constant Contact has shoddy customer service and account management.I called Constant Contact in Autumn of 2022 to cancel my account. I was then billed again in 2023 for the account. I called within a month of the bill to confirm the cancellation of 2022 and request a refund. I have now bee told that they simply do not do refunds, and are saying they have no notes of my 2022 call to cancel. They billed for an entire year of a subscription that I cancelled months before. This is unacceptable, reprehensible, fraudulent and overall a company to not put any credit into.Do not use Constant contact.
