      Well, after reading the other reviews, at least I know I'm not alone. My horrible experience with MAPFRE mirrors some of the other reviews. Everything seemed fine at first, then MAPFRE has ghosted me and the collision repair shop. Won't respond to the numerous emails and phone calls. So, in turn, MAPFRE is not paying the full dollar amount it will cost to repair my car. MAPFRE is the insurance company for the drive of the car that hit my vehicle. That other driver admitted to being at fault. No one doubts he caused the accident. But MAPFRE won't respond to attempts to communicate. Oh... and it's worth noting that the BBB rating is a joke as well. Here are dozens of one-star reviews, and somehow this insurance company has an A+ rating.

      Horrible Experience! The initial process seemed to start out fine, we had a car accident, within two days the car was appraised and deemed a total loss. As soon as that happened our adjustor reached out with questions and let us know the claim may be denied based on who was driving the car. As you can imagine this caused quiet a bit of stress and anxiety. If they deny the claim how will we replace it. Then we never heard from ANYONE!! Numerous calls and emails went unanswered. As we checked the website, we noticed the adjuster had changed. The new adjusted NEVER ONCE responded to our calls or emails. It took me days of sitting on hold and refusing to be put to someone voicemail to get answers. When I did finally got someone on the phone and was made aware that the claim was accepted, She was VERY rude because the car was collecting storage fees. Never once were we made to feel like our claim was important.

      Worst insurance company managing claims. Likely trying to delay the claim process purposely. Submitted all claim required documents by email to the adjuster Mary on Jan 30. Never received any acknowledgement or response. Email followed up Feb 3, Feb 6, no response. Made phone calls, and left voicemails as well no response. Called again Feb 15. Asked for escalation. Got Mary's supervisor, Kristine B. Kristine tried to help. Got email response from Mary quickly. She said she couldnt open the documents with the ****** drive link provided and requested to email documents one by one. This tells me from Jan 30 to Feb 15, either she didnt even review my claim, or she did, but decided to delay the claim purposely, or simply she didnt do her job. Then she told me an inspection on my car is needed. She scheduled the inspection for Feb 20. No updates from anyone after the inspection. After the inspection, we followed up again on March 13, and March 20, for an update, but no word. Followed up today, March 24, by email to Mary, and copied her supervisor Kristine B (no error from Kristine). Got reply from Mary within minutes saying we are still reviewing all the information and doing research. I then tried to email Kristine B, asking what is the reasonable time frame, shared my concern with lack of communication from my adjuster Mary, and my doubt on the professionalism and business ethics of the company. Surprisingly, I got error message from Kristine this time: service unavailable , client host blocked using customer block list. So it seems a supervisor blocked a customers email. I forwarded my email to my husband, and my husband forwarded it to Kristine (no error) to understand what is the block about. It is unbelievable how this insurance company works. Im leaving this comment. Maybe there are some people who care in this company. If not, at least others know how poorly the claims are managed here. Claim number: ************

      Holy Mother Of Everything Justice, Be Struck Down Upon Thee!!!!WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! DO NOT USE THEM! LEAVE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE THEM!2 months and my car is worse off then it was from the accident. MAPFRE is trying to charge me 900 for work that I didn't want done. Jeremy The Field Supervisor is the most incompetent person I have ever talked too! He just gets paid to do nothing because he NEVER calls anyone back! Let's get into the fact I pay for rental coverage but as of the time of writing this I have been charged over 400 dollars and still have to fight with ***** to get that back some day. I have talked to Rebecca (Who didn't do her job and all this the reason most of this happening to me)  Linda, Kathy, Jeremy, Frank, James, Danielle, Amy, and so many more. I am over 40 hours of my time in phone calls and waiting on hold. I have called over 30 times in the past month. Everyone pawns it off to the next person. And so so so much! The accident happened on 12/23/22 and today is 2/21/23 AND MY CAR IS STILL NOT FIX! Then there is the fact that the accident messed up my car and they are trying ever which way to not have to fix it because its like a 3000 dollar fix or something like that. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY AND RIPPING OFF THE LITTLE GUY!!!! Claim number: **********

      As a first time homebuyer, Mapfre insurance has made it nearly impossible to obtain home owners insurance. Their inspector from ********* *********** came to inspect our home 4 days after closing Dec 20, 2022. At the time we hadnt even moved in. On Feb 8, 2023 we received a call from our insurance agent saying Mapfre had placed a cancellation on our home insurance. This was the first time we heard anything from our insurance company and had no correspondence from Mapfre until receiving a letter two days after we were notified by our agent. Furthermore, 3/5 reasons for cancellation had already been taken care of by us unknowing of the cancellation. Reason 4/5 did not match the report given by the inspector. One example being, the reason for cancellation the letter stated roof condition-worn and deteriorated. In the report it states, condition- ok. The second and final example is that the reason for cancellation states, Detached barn/shed in poor condition and collapsing. However, in the report the property diagram only lists three buildings but there are four photos in the report. One of these photos is of an old chicken coop that has been demolished. With all that said, our biggest dissatisfaction with Mapfre Insurance is that they gave us no opportunity to review or correct the alleged issues. They gave no warning to the cancellation and worst of all, given the cancellation we have almost no opportunity to obtain coverage from another insurer. I would like to add that our policy was paid in full and Mapfre Insurance still holds the total premium balance.

      This company is the worse Insurance Company. Their customer service agents are extremely rude and my adjuster Christy Z at MAPFRE Insurance is a inadequate employee, She has never once returned not one call to myself regarding my vehicle. The shop where my car was towed notified me that my car was a total loss instead of this adjuster Christy Z. When we called to ask what was going on, we were rudely hung up on when we asked to speak to a Supervisor. My car sat at the repair shop for over a month because they never sent an adjuster out there. ****** appraisals shows up a month later while storage fees of $115 per day was being added and MAPFRE told me I would be responsible for the fees when their negligence and delayed failure to send someone was fault of their own and not my doing. Customers need to be treated with dignity and respect and this company is seriously lacking the basics when it comes to customer care. This adjuster Christy Z shouldn't even have a job at this point and all of their customer agents need job training on the care of customers.

      I was rear ended by a client of theirs on November 28th. They have still not processed my claim and have not followed up proactively since the incident. Each time I call its a different excuse. First we need to verify the driver had permission to drive the vehicle and his license is suspended. Then it was we need to get his side of why he drove into the back of my car, even though the police report details it. Then it was a coverage issues not on my end but with their insured..and I was last told 12/19 that it was going to a supervisor desk for approval. We will call you tomorrow. Been another week and still nothing. This is the worse company to deal with and when I voiced my frustration to a representative, they told me that this insurance company is globally renowned and bigger than Geico and Progressive. Yet we are only reachable ***** Monday through Friday and never on weekends.

      This is a fraudulent company. I encourage anybody seeking insurance to stay away from MAPFRE. They always have an excuse to justify their wrongdoings. I tried twice to have a claim filed and it was denied illegally. I also had to reach out to the company multiple times for days on end with no response. I was never called or contacted regarding my claim. I waited weeks and got nothing back. I will file a report with CA ***** of Insurance to report MAPFRE as a fraudulent company. Hopefully there will be justice for these scammers.

      ******************* is the WORST adjuster and insurance agent of MAPFRE! Even at fault ******************* likes to delay the process of claims even after the investigation and estimates are done.. Not professional dealing with customers specially in claims.
