We brought our car to the shop due to damage sustained to the wheels. We arranged for the car to be on lifts for the insurance adjuster to see knowing there was likely significant damage behind the wheel that would only be seen from a lift. The adjuster went to the wrong address. This is a larger shop in this part of the state. When the adjuster was told to go across the street where the car was actually located, he never showed up. He arrived the next morning to look at the car in the parking lot where minimal damage can be seen. The adjuster needs to go back out and look at the car. He has been provided an estimate from our shop but will not review it and will not go back out to look at the car.I have been in touch with the claims department. They cannot understand that there are two shops on either side of the street and their adjuster did an inadequate job. They will not help by requesting the adjuster go back out.Additionally I spent 20 minutes on the phone getting screamed at by their claims team. As soon as this is over we will be looking into moving our insurance to another provider.MAPFRE Insurance

This is a horrible company, I filed an insurance claim from an incident that happened when one of their insured truck drivers had a rock come flying out of the back of their truck and hit my windshield. They aren't going to reimburse me for my damage because even though I saw the road fly out of the truck they said there was no way a rock flew out and cracked my windshield it was kicked up and was considered a road hazard. Yeah right . I tried getting the truck driver to pull over after the incident he wouldnt . I did get the name of the company and pulled in front of the truck and got the license plate . I filed a police report they did contact the driver and he did say he was at that spot at that time . This company didn't care . They told me if I had a dash cam or used my cell phone to record it they're not liable . Oh another thing my complaint is hearsay and the driver saying he had his load covered when it clearly wasn't isn't hearsay . Don't do business with this company .MAPFRE Insurance

Horrible! Failed to respond to a data breach incident with proper information that is required by ************* law. The call center designated to the data breach could not answer any of my questions and was supposed to escalate my case to someone who could answer my questions I never received a call back. Better business "BBB" supposedly reached out on my behalf and was told I would receive a call back which also never happened.MAPFRE Insurance

Most horrible company ********* ** ******** they should not have a license to operate at all. Been chasing them for four months on damage from when someone hit me in a rear end collision. Countless wasted calls never get answers or replies to any. Im reporting to the attorney general and my attorney will handle the rest. I am not, and never have been, a MAPFRE Insurance customer but I still can't stand them. Here's why:I got a letter from MAPFRE dated 8/24/23 telling me that their online quoting platform had been hacked, and that the hackers were able to obtain my ******************* driver's license #. All they offered me was a year of free credit monitoring (which I would have to pay for once the year was up).So, I decided to call the ********* and made an appointment to get my driver's license number changed. I just got back from the appointment, and I had to pay $25 to get my driver's license number changed. I am now trying to get MAPFRE Insurance to reimburse me for the $25. I called a branch of MAPFRE Insurance, and they told me that I had to call the MAPFRE online incident hotline about this issue and gave me their number.So, I called and the folks at the MAPFRE hotline said they don't know anything about reimbursements of this type, and that I should call a branch of MAPFRE Insurance, which I will do again on Tuesday.***** would be proud of this company.MAPFRE Insurance

We had a claim for damaged property in April of 2023. At first they were great but now a few months later the wont answer our calls. We are spending thousands of our money which they said they would reimbursed. They they havent reimbursed us for anything and now wont return our calls. Terrible insurance policy, dont use them. Our *** insurance agency is the one who got this insurance. Dont know why *** ******/***** even put us with them!!!!MAPFRE Insurance

I was rear ended by a mapfre customer and the process was painful. They don't do any of the work, and expected me to complete all of the reporting myself online. They needed constant calling from me to make sure the claim progressed through their system. They were painfully slow. I'm grateful the repairs I needed were minor and hope an insurancee of theirs doesn't hit me again.MAPFRE Insurance

This racket should be shut down immediately. They screwed me over so bad after I was in a no-fault accident. When I called to cancel my insurance with them last week, they made it retroactive to three months ago, negating my insurance history. According to the ****** insurance board, this is illegal. Now my insurance rate will be tripled. Im 62, with a perfect driving record. Unbelievably horrible what these crooks can get away with.MAPFRE Insurance

Bad customer service. I had an accident at the beginning of June. I was told by claims I had 45 days of car rental coverage. I got an email on July 17 saying they would only cover rental until JULY 10! Yes, they sent me notification 7 days AFTER they stopped paying for rental car. I called them and a very rude person said the repairs were taking too long and they only have rental coverage for reasonable amounts of time. I explained that I had 45 days of car rental on my insurance and they said they weren't going to honor that. Ah, hello? In my state, you can't get the crash report for 30 days after the incident! The other party's insurance has agreed to pay claim and now I've got to go to them to pay rental I so will be finding new insurance when my premium comes due. ****, I may even sign up with other guy's insurance company!MAPFRE Insurance

New customer not even a couple months in, just started doing business with them , someone at fault hit me, I contacted them and had car appraised at address I was staying at for that day , now instead of helping me process my claim with what should be an easy process, they've now placed a hold on it for a fake trumped up garaging issue now created by them to try and raise my premium to city costs as opposed to focusing on the claim at hand and working on my behalf to resolve the inconvenience and are refusing to help me out. All this because I chose to have it appraised where I was at for that day as opposed to my garaged address on file. Insurance payers beware, claim adjuster *********************** won't even return my calls and dis-connected me , even after leaving messages and sending emails there's been no correspondence on his end to help me resolve the accident that happened where someone else was at fault. They're not even the ones paying the claim in the the end smh. You think these insurance companies have you you're back but all they're really focused on is how they can gain to profit from your loss , they're not looking out for you or your best interests at all just themselves especially this company. People need to be made aware, may not fix the issue but it's a start. After resolution one way or another I will be looking to take my business elsewhere at this point.
