Initial trail 3 month subscription was purchased in March of 2023. I was advised during initial sales presentation made over the phone that there was no auto renewal on this subscription. Notified the company in mid-June of 2023 that I did not wish to renew, was advised that there was a free website that could be utilized and received numerous calls from sales staff to renew. Dissatisfied with subscription service due to poor quality of leads provided. Advised sales associate with Qazzoo as such. Noticed that an auto-renewal was debited my company bank account for $999 in mid-June. Had conversation with sales associate on June 28 and my husband had a 14 minute phone conversation with a sales manager that advised him it would be taken care of, (phone records attached). Also attached email sent to Mike U*******, CEO of Qazzoo outlining our experience and requesting resolution.Business Response

The client’s recollection of events fails to match with our records.
The client canceled after renewal had already occurred. As stated in the receipt, we needed at least 48-hours notice, prior to renewal to cancel an account. No renewal occurred after the cancellation was received.
In addition to this renewal being part of the original agreement, the client had provided an audio signature locking it down in exchange for additional services.
Despite returning a large number of leads that did not meet the return criteria of invalid contact information, all leads submitted for return were replaced.
The client has since disputed the transaction with their bank. Unfortunately, once a dispute has been filed a refund is no longer an option.Initial Complaint

Received an email from Qazzoo that my profile got “picked” and a realtor would be contacting me.
I never set up a profile nor account with Qazzoo.
I did not consent to them collecting or selling my information and I have no idea who they are.
I do not know how they got my information and from where.
I've tried contacting them via phone, no answer.
I want them to delete and remove any account, profile and all personal data that they have.Business Response

On 9/13/2023 form IP address ************************************** the complainant visited an affiliated site of ours and completed a 100% optional contact form. The form was very clear that real estate professionals would be in touch.
Once we received notice of the complainant desire to not be contacted, their information was removed from the site.
While we have removed the information from any further contact, we strongly recommend that the complainant only complete contact forms when they actually want to be contacted.

It was advertised to me that this company has quality real estate leads that volunteer their information to the company and are ready to buy a house. After talking with others that have been feuded by this company and been in the business for more than 20 years advised me that the “leads” don’t even know why they are being contacted and non pan out to be the quality they were told. So I went to request a refund and then I see they don’t offer it so I disputed with my bank and they declined sending very stupid and reason for validation. First I was never told that there was no refunds and received no welcome call the only time I accessed the website was to request the refund and never even used. Now I got the letter they sent the bank and it’s just full of nonsense stating that I was told there’s no refund, an empty bio, IP addresses that aren’t mine and stating they offer a list of the latest, most complete residential foreclosures” something I would never pay to get when I can get it for free. The company states they can’t issue refund because of dispute which is a lie just like you put my card in for a charge you can put my card in for a refund every POS system has it they just refuse to. I don’t take kindly to be told I committed “friendly fraud” when I was subjected to actual fraudulent information to get me to buy a product that was not what I was looking for or agreed to sign up for.Business Response

100% of our leads are user generated through an optional
form.
All invalid leads are eligible for replacement.
We attempted to contact the client on 7/5, 7/6, 7/10, 7/11, 7/13,
and 7/14 to onboard the client and walk them through our return system and best
practices for converting the leads. All attempts were met with the client’s
voicemail and unreturned calls. The client did not contact us until they
desired cancellation, wanted a refund, and had disputed the charge.
Had the client at any point spent the 5 minutes needed for
the orientation, they would have found this a much better investment. It is for
these reasons that the client’s own credit card company viewed this as a valid

June 25, 2023, I engaged with Qazzoo's sales representative "John." Presented with a month-to-month option I signed up. Then I was offered a "free website upgrade." On the call, the sales rep emphasized the benefits of the upgrade and assured me that there would be no cost associated with it. However, amidst the enthusiasm for the website upgrade, the sales representative briefly mentioned that by signing up it would apparently commit me to a 3-monthsubscription to their lead generation program. Unfortunately, this crucial detail was not fully explained, and I was unaware of the financial commitment associated with the subscription.
After accepting the "free website upgrade," I was shocked to realize that I had unknowingly enrolled in a 3-month subscription to Qazzoo's lead generation program, leading to recurring charges on my credit card. I had not received any written documentation reiterating the subscription terms, which would have prompted me to cancel immediately upon realizing the full implications of the offer.
When I attempted to cancel the subscription, my communications through phone calls, texts, and emails went unanswered initially. Only after persistent efforts did I manage to elicit a response from Qazzoo. However, even then, there was no disclosure about the subsequent charges of $399 per month for an additional two months, which I had no intention of incurring. After receiving the confirmation of cancellation and then seeing a second charge of $399 on my credit card bill I called back to request the refund. I was only at THAT POINT readily informed about the bait and switch policy with the "free website" upgrade that committed you to a quarter of payments.
I reasonably relied on Qazzoo to provide the additional website services as part of the "free website upgrade" they promoted. However, the company skillfully manipulated customers into signing up for a subscription plan without ensuring full transparency and understanding.Business Response

The client consented to the additional 90-day period via an audio signature which was shared with the client. This commitment came with a website at no additional cost, the client merely continued to make their standard monthly payment.After complaining that they had been charged, despite this audio signature. The client was released from all future charges.
The client next disputed the renewal of their account with their credit card company. As a dispute has been filed, a refund is no longer an option. The client is now offline and will not be charged again.

I am rejecting this response because:I’ve never heard of an audio signature. I was on a recorded line. I was unaware such thing as “audio signatures even existed. if the sales rep taken the time to ensure the client - me - understood everything I never would have consented to the additional website. This is the same problem with many of these complaints here on BBB and google! It was not recapped at the end of our call nor was it in written form in any of the emailed paperwork concerning the account. All the email contained was login information. This is a deceptive trade practice and the company should be embarrassed that they need to resort to such tactics to procure business and monthly recurring revenue. I never even held the call with the ancillary company responsible for thr “free” website. Total waste of time and money and really shows how shady lead generation companies can be.

I agreed to trying Qazzoo after several calls from the same sales person who was very cordial, and gave me the impression that she was being honest about the quality of the leads that Qazzoo provided. I explained that my financial situation was a delicate one and that I couldn't really afford spending money on something that wasn't going to work, however, I trusted her description of the leads being good leads, and found that they are not. I got replies from people who are homeless and can't even rent, from other realtors who are looking for business, from people who never wanted to be contacted, and from people who don't qualify to rent at most places let alone purchase a home. When I first expressed my frustration and desire to end the service and get my money back, I was told to try it for another 3 weeks and if I wanted to cancel then I could, and they offered more leads. I tried it for a few more days and decided I just want my money back, especially after the hurricane we just had in Florida. I was told I couldn't get my money back, but that I could get 2 more weeks of leads instead. I informed the representative that even if I got leads for lifetime from them I wouldn't accept it because they are not worth it, and that I want my money back. It is not ok for companies to take sell bad quality leads as if they were legitimately good.Business Response

Originally the client had agreed to a lesser term on the site with customer service rep.
Attempts to reach the client via phone to discuss the situation went unanswered by the client. Had the client returned our calls, we would have been happy to discuss with them that all invalid leads are eligible for replacement.
As we can only assume that they were a victim of the storm, which caused the breakdown in communication, we issued a full refund and emailed them a confirmation.

I initially set up an account with Qazzoo but later chose to cancel my association with them after coming across a slew of negative feedback about their services, both online and from my colleague. I was charged by the company, even though I had not begun using their service.
Lack of Transparency about Refund Policy:
At no point during the sign-up process or subsequent interactions was I informed that the company has a no-refund policy, especially for services that had not yet been rendered. I believe this lack of transparency is misleading to customers.
Unprofessional Customer Service Interaction:
The representative I spoke with, a lady, was not only unhelpful but also exhibited unprofessional behavior. She informed me that they do not process refunds, displayed a confrontational attitude, and when asked, refused to provide her name – a basic protocol in customer service. This further diminished my confidence and trust in the company.Business Response

Myself and a local real estate agent decided to partner and do lead generation through Qazzoo.
My fear of this entire thing being a complete scam seem to be holding true. A lot of the leads don’t have the correct phone number listed, have already closed on a home OR are already working with a real estate agent. If these leads have already closed on a home or are working with an agent, why are these leads available in the portal? Also, why are we being provided with fake or inaccurate contact information for the leads? I could understand if maybe one or two leads had a number transposed, but almost all of them don’t even have correct contact info listed.
The leads are absolute trash. Most of them don’t answer or the information provided is incorrect. Furthermore, it appears that we are starting to receive spam calls from the numbers that are supposedly leads. How is this possible?
This company is out to hook you for a membership fee, provide no value for your money spent whatsoever and when you contact them for support, there is none.

Congratulations on getting a house under contract. We hope that everything moves forward smoothly.
All homebuyer information on Qazzoo is received directly through Qazzoo and or our network of affiliate real estate sites. All information is completed through an optional contact form. It appears as though the home buyer in question did not read that the form was optional. It is also doubtful that they would remember completing the form, as it was filled in on 3/7/2023 (4 months ago) at IP**************************************** for a purchase in Warren County, NJ.
In this case the Qazzoo agent would have been following up to see if the buyer still needed assistance or if they had completed the purchase.
As the consumer has expressed that they would not like to be contacted, we have removed their information. Barring the consumer completing the form again, they will no longer be contacted.

On June 15th 2023 I paid $1500 to Qazzoo for 3 months of leads and a $500 setup fee. I spoke to John G**** at Qazzoo and he explained their system for creating buyer and seller real estate leads, and their 100% guarantee for quality leads. No bogus or junk leads. This guarantee is also displayed all over their website. Since signing up they have failed to deliver one viable lead. All numbers are either a wrong number or burner numbers. The two connections I have made have no idea why they’re being contacted. They will give you a replacement lead for a bad lead. But the replacement lead is still BAD contact information.
I have reached out requesting a refund and no one will get back with me.
It looks like quite a few people have fallen for this scam with their hundred percent guarantee. And they shouldn’t even be in business anymore.Business Response

decided to grant her a refund. Unfortunately, she then informed us that she has
already disputed the charge with her bank. We explained once the dispute
process has started, we are unable to accommodate any refund requests. The
moment a dispute is filed, the money is taken from our account eliminating the
possibility of a refund. We apologized for the lack of communication on our end
and explained her account rep was out on paternity leave. In the future we

The original salesperson Randy sold me a plan to receive 17 leads in the first month and I only received one lead after 3 weeks which was someone who had poor credit. I called in to ask for a refund. The lady who answered was extremely rude and was gaslighting me acting like it was my fault I didn't receive any leads because I did not call them to complain. She also stated that if I filed a complaint with the BBB that she would deny a refund. She kept talking in circles, interrupting me and talking down to me as if I was an idiot for asking for a refund. She needs to be fired. This company has hundreds of other bad reviews for these same experiences. I would like a full refund.Business Response
