      This company gave me a final bill that I paid after I sold my house. 4 months later they are trying to bill me for another $1600 that the new owner of the house used after my final bill. Unbelievable!

      My bill is 375.00 this month, and we are very stingy with our HVAC. I checked with my next door neighbor who basically has the same house, and they considered their bill high at $190.00. Neither of us use gas, but they use ******** for electric. I guess it’s time to switch.

      When my electric bills that were never more than $350 in worst winter started over $400 and then over $500, I tried to contacted them by phone, I was told I would get call back in 5 days or less. When I got upset and pushed back, was told to do chat. My promo rate ended a while ago and I had no idea it would be fixed 14 cents kWh. ******* ****** was 6-9 depending on season. Told they guarantee fixed rate not best rate. I couldn’t cancel quick enough! Couldn’t believe how overcharged and for how long. No one should use
      this company. They don’t put their rate on bill so you can’t compare or know how much they are stealing from you. I wish authorities could do something about them!

      I live in a 700 sq. foot condo and they are charging me electric use of 3277kwh - I am unable to reach their customer service to have the error corrected. When I spoke to someone after 45 min they put me on hold and never came back. Total bill is over 500.dollars - I will NOT pay and made a switch to another company after being w/ this company for years. I noticed my bill was unusually high in the past, but this? Crazy - Why is it they don't have a format to correct bills?

      I have a 12 month price guarantee that auto renews at a much higher price. I call to cancel the auto renew and have been on hold over 6 hours over 2 weeks. I will stick with BGE and their variable pricing.

      Total disaster with billing since the BGE/BGE Home (Constellation) split. They changed my account number without my knowledge and they cannot locate the payments sent to the old account and give me credit towards the new account. Forget calling in or emailing.

      If I could leave a 0 star review I would. My bill doubled when the Arctic blast came into Texas for 3 days in December. To me it seems Constellation increased their fees for those days. As soon as my contract is up I will be finding another energy provider!!

      They may have a good price but beware! They drop the ball getting the transfer do and you may be left with huge jumps in your electric service. Once i finally got to talk to someone after 45 minute hold time ( twice) I was told that my transfer was declined by my local electric company that I have been with for over 40 years. That company had no record of Constellation making contact with them. I was told by customer service, once through, that I should have received a letter of conformation to denial. Neither did I receive. If I had I would have followed through with questions as to why before my electric bills took a huge jump due to my contract with another company being up. I got a run around when I ask questions as to why.... "my account was blocked, no account at that company". Then while on the phone they resent a request to change my service to them whiteout me requesting it. How and why they would do that is a mystery to me if they didn't have the correct information. It took me several times to tell her I DIDN'T want switched. I was requesting some finical support for my bills that jumped because of their mistakes. Again another run around so I asked for a supervisor. I was told the request was in and would be called in an hour or two...NO. I called back many hours later and did get to talk to one with no satisfaction and same run around. If you should go with them please check back to make sure the switches happened with you local electric company. Save all paper work, names and phone information with Constellation in case you need it. Better yet use another provider.

      Difficult to communicate with Constellation Energy. No response from email, chat page or phone calls. I'm done with them!

      DO NOT ever sign up with these guys - they lie and cheat. They told me before I signed a 5 year contract that I will pay less. My bills are now 5 times higher even though I have been using less energy. This is the worst scam of a company ever and they should cease to exist.
