      We recently became a GEICO customer because they offered a low rate based on my own and my partners driving record. They required we put an app on our phones that purports to measure how well you drive. However, the app does not distinguish between you driving or someone else driving, so if Im riding in a friends car and checking my emails, the app dings me for using my phone while driving. This means going into the app after every time I am in a car and manually changing the information. I found out that this was necessary after my account was charged $78 in the first month with the app, for unsafe driving. Recently, I drove to a meeting with my phone in my pocket literally did not touch the phone in the car, but I checked the trip and it had dinged me for phone handling. What I find egregious is that the app makes inaccurate assessments but that doesnt prevent GEICO from reaching directly into my account and accessing my money. I tried to talk with customer service after the first charge and they just said Sorry, nothing we can do. Who is regulating these companies?

      They take your money on time out of your account every month, but they don’t give you any kind of customer service. This time they’ve left me sitting on the side of the road for three hours canceled two tow trucks for no good reason. I’m still waiting one of their customer service representatives hung up on me. The last time I had to call roadside service nobody ever came and I was on the worst stretch of highway in Northern California Highway four for 12 hours ended up having to walk 8 miles down the highway in the dark with no lighting whatsoever to save myself and they did absolutely nothing. Avoid Geico at all cost.

      I've been a geico customer since around 2010 over the last year they raised my policy beyond 180 month for a 2012 f150 and I paid it like an idiot I have 0 accidents 0 tickets contacted progressive to see what the same policy would cost 60 bucks a month I saved over 125 a month contacted geico to cancel the first question I was ask what can we do to keep you as a customer not a f==king thing you've robbed me for over the past few years so any geico customers make sure you check other companies cause GEICO does not give a s*** about you it's all about their bottom line

      Geico has been the only insurance i have had been driving 20+ years and they decided to cancel my full coverage out of the blue i have a clean driving record and *** had one claim and they send me a letter stating they cannot cover my vehicles anymore. What a hunk of c*** Ive called multiple times and noone can give me a exact answer why they just keep dismissing me. Bottom line is dont get geico insurance its a waste of a life i mean 20+ years thats a marriage but they dropped me like a mid life crisis. Gieco ***** bottom line

      Do not get insurance through Geico they will not honor your claims they play games after after 6 weeks of playing games they denied the claim I was sitting still in a parking lot eating a hamburger a truck backed into me and they're claiming they will not pay the claim worse insurance company ever if you would like to have crappy insurance then sign up with Geico I am currently suing Geico in court for over $4,000 worth of damages that they will not pay.

      Tiers of false hopes on being able to get a auto insurance there was one sweet lady the was able to get me a quote I called today to confirm it and called 2 agents who were rude and couldnt help me , and said geico does not want to insure me anymore so why send me emails if they wont insure me

      On 05/17/25, I discovered that a driver had been added to my policy without my knowledge or consent.This unauthorized change resulted in an unwarranted increase to my premium and an overcharge to my credit card on file.I contacted GEICO customer service promptly to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, the representatives,including a supervisor named Angel ** were not helpful and failed to correct the issue or provide a satisfactory explanation. This has caused me financial stress and a significant loss of confidence in GEICOs customer service and underwriting practices.

      GEICO lies, misleads and deceives the public. When caught and challenged, they fabricate dates and information. They refuse to surrender transcripts of correspondence. Even under subpoena, it is questionable whether they will release the transcripts.

      Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. Impossible to get anyone on the phone. They have ****** me time and time again. They should get shut down. Making billions and f****** over their customers. Shame on you **********************. And one last F*** YOU for good measure

      I applied for a job and after completing the required application requirements, the job was withdrawn after I was given a start date despite satisfying requests in a timely manner.
