Service has been poor, but today it is non existent. I paid to watch this game. They required an update on my device which I did, then it would not allow me to sign in. Needed to change password, that didnt work either. For a couple of minutes, I could see the glitchy stream on my iPad, never on my TV, then it went out also. Looked online, and many people are having same issue. A refund is in order.Business Response

Service was completely down during the most recent Lightning game. I submitted multiple requests for assistance with no response. I attempted to call the phone number provided on their support site and it was disconnected. I attempted to enter live chat and it literally just didn't work. I started the 7 day free trial to watch a game, the app doesnt show live games as they claim, so i cancelled the 7 day free trial the same day. I was charged over $20 for a membership that was suppose to be a 7 day free trial. I asked them for a refund, but they will not give me a refund.Business Response

I was just charged $189 for year of Bally sports. They are refusing refund saying I didnt cancel soon enough. Kinda hard to cancel when I have never received any notification from them saying my time was up and I was going to be charged. I believed I had cancelled my Ballys Sports App prior to its automatic renewal which took place yesterday 10/23/23. When I looked at my subscription it said I had subscribed to the following package under another platform. It also said restore purchase. This led me to believe it had been cancelled since we obtained cable. I called to cancel and get a refund this morning, one day after the renewal and they will cancel it but not give a refund and say the only way to cancel a subscription is by calling and talking to a person.Business Response

This company has the bally plus subscription to watch sports. Their service has been down the past 2 games. It took them 2 days to finally get back to me about the issue. They were willing to offer me 7 free days, which do absolutely nothing for me as I already purchased a package thar covers the entire season. I paid for a subscription to Bally Sports Plus which advertises "When you get Bally Sports +, you will have direct access to stream your local teams, pre/post-game shows, and original programming at home and on the go, including regional *** and *** games found on Bally Sports" (direct quote from their website). I only subscribed to this service to stream the Columbus Blue Jackets. Unfortunately, the app was down on all devices for both games this week, this was a nationwide issue for many regional games based on several news articles and X and was not isolated to my devices. When I subscribed I had the reasonable expectation that I would be provided with the service I was paying for. Unfortunately, that is not being provided. I have already canceled my service going forward; however, they refuse to refund me for what has already been paid. Bally sports has repeatedly shown that they are unable to provide the service that they say they are providing. Bally Sports operates an online streaming service and charges $20 a month. The app already ran poorly in a previous version. They have recently updated the app and it has consistently not been able to operate. They have only issued automated statements saying they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. The app has had massive problems in performing the primary function customers are paying for. It feels outrageous that they haven’t even considered issuing any form of bill credit or refund for the unacceptable level of service.
