      Poor customer service. I ordered stud earrings. I am still considering returning them. I HATE the backs that came with them, and chatted with a rep about switching them out. I was told I could do that for screw on backs for an additional $125. After paying over $2200 for the studs, they want an additional $125 for screw on backs???? I was shocked to say the least, and considering that is most likely the least expensive part of the earrings, I expected to be able to switch them out. The backs are like a flat disc, extremely hard to work with, both getting them on and off. They are very small and difficult to use. My daughter in law also received a pair for Christmas and does not like the backs.

Guardian backs are the most secure option and feature a spring mechanism that grips the post. We can offer the modification to screwbacks for $125 or assist with pricing to explore traditional pushbacks. Our customer service team is happy to assist you when you are ready to move forward.

      Beautiful product that fell apart within 3 months. The center stone simply fell out of the engagement ring 3 weeks before the wedding. I contacted customer service who stated I had to ship the ring back to the company (at MY expense $30) and it would be returned in approx 6 weeks (no expedited services are available under any circumstances). James Allen would cover the repair IF a fault was found in the craftsmanship.
      I had the ring fixed at a local jeweler at an additional cost to me of $500.
      Do NOT purchase important jewelry from this company.

All jewelry must be inspected before the necessary work, any costs and the estimated completion timeframe can be confirmed. We see that our team offered to assist you with a service order however we do understand your decision to visit a local jeweler for timing purposes. In the future should you wish to take advantage of warranty services or if your ring ever needs additional resize or repairs our customer service team will be happy to assist you.

      I had an excellent experience with JamesAllen, and this was my first purchase with them. I spoke with an online representative who helped me bring my ideas for an earring setting to life. It turns out I was working with someone based in the USA, who was knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Having had many frustrating experiences with customer service reps overseas, I was pleased to see that JamesAllen keeps this process in-house in the USA. It was truly refreshing.
      After placing my order, I needed to follow up on delivery timelines to ensure the earring would arrive in time for my wife’s birthday. Given that I ordered in December, there wasn’t much lead time for processing, but the representative assured me they would do their best to meet the requested delivery date. A few days later, another representative informed me that it wouldn’t be possible to meet the deadline due to the high volume of orders. Although I was disappointed, I was thrilled when the earring actually arrived about four days earlier than expected.
      Overall, I’m extremely impressed with JamesAllen. They went above and beyond, and I’m grateful for their excellent service. A big thank you to Jennifer L***** and Joyce McC****** for making it all happen! Well done, team!
