  Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet only works when there are not many trees around your house. I bought this system in 2004 and almost every year the gutters on the back of my house clog up. Storm water overflows the gutters and washes out the mulch in the flower beds below. This is an expense and frustration that has gotten old.
  This company is very responsive in regard to cleaning out the gutters upon request, although it takes about 4 weeks to schedule.
  I recently asked the company to send someone out to inspect the system and fix the problem. They just give lip service and never do so. Those they send out readily admit that the system cannot be fixed to keep leaves out of the gutters.
  I would advise not to use this system as it fails to keep the leaves out of the gutters.

  We like other people went through ****** but did not want to pay the price so we moved forward with the mesh covers. We have had problem with the water leaking at the corners and other places around the house. We have had them out and they have tried to fix the problem. But nothing worked. So the last time they came out the worker stated that he talked to his manger and they did not know they were back out there. they were not going to do anything for us. We have a lifetime warranty on performance and they will not fix it. The gutter now has tiger strips which they have never had tiger strips. The worker also told us we still need to clean the screens every year. We were never informed about this. I have call and talked to Jed and he was no help, and also stated he does not have screens on his gutter and gets tiger strips. Why doesn’t he use the product he works for. (Maybe because it is a terrible product). A person by the name of Mike was to call me on July 3, but has of today no such luck. This is a new house and should not have these problems. Just like most people this company does not stand behind there product and will not give you your money back. To them they have your money so now it is our problem. Stay away from this company, they only care about the money. I have tried calling there corporate office and all they do is send you back to the office that serviced you.

  From estimating to repair, the Gutter Helmet team was very professional. They showed-up when scheduled and replaced four panels damaged by high winds. The price was right and the work was done quickly, while respecting our property, Hal Wahle, June -7, 2023

  BACK IN FEBRUARY 2022 I HIRED GUTTER HELMET TO INSTALL GUTTER TO MY HOUSE, MY HOUSE IS 1986 BUILT. I FOUND GUTTER HELMET AT COSTCO BECAUSE COSTCO HAVE A GOOD REPUTATION I TRUSTED GUTTER HELMET. A MARKETING GUY CAME TO CHECK AND EVENTUALLY CONVINCED ME TO PUT GUTTER AT MY ROOF, KNOWING MY GUTTER AND DOWN SPOUT IS 30+ OLD GUTTERS AND DOWN SPOUT, DURING WINTER THE GUTTER GUARD DIDNT WORK ITS SPLASHING AND RUINING MY ROOF AND MY DOORS AND WALLS OUTSIDE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT PUT PERFECTLY. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT GUTTER HELMET INSTALLED WITH OUT INFORMING ME THAT MY 30+GUTTER IS NEEDS TO BE REPLACE AND CLEANED. I FINALLY SPEND MONEY FOR THE ROOF AND CHANGE NEW GUTTERS AND DOWN SPOUT. I AM VERY UNHAPPY AND I COMPLAINED THE OFFICE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE MANAGER ARE VERY UNFRIENDLY TELLING ME RIGHT AWAY THAT THEY CANNOT GIVE ME A REFUND OR EVEN HALF OF THE REFUND. I SPENT SO MUCH AND IN 16 MONTHS FROM INTALL THEY DONT WANT TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK OR REFUND ME OF LITTLE BIT OF MONEY. I TOLD THEM TO PICK IT UP ITS SITTING IN MY HOUSE. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS GUTTER HELMET. THEY SHOULD BE HONEST TO TELL ME I NEED TO FIX MY GUTTER FIRST BEFORE THEY CAN INSTALL. THEY DIDNT EVEN SEND ME A PICTURE HOW IT WAS INSTALLED. GUTTER HELMET IS RUINING MY HOUSE AND WITH NO HEART JUST TELLING ME SORRY WE DONT GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK. PLEASE BE HONEST TO YOUR CUSTOMER BECAUSE MONEY IS HARD TO EARN, WE TRUSTED YOU, HAVE SOME COMPASSION ESPECIALLY FOR OLD PEOPLE WHO CANNOT AFFORD.

  I called the company when the rains started last fall to say they were leaking over the porch. She told me they were at least 45 days behind and that was the last I heard from them. No follow up

  The phone # we have on file does not go thru, we have emailed the customer to contact and set up service and discuss. Looks like we were out on 09/15 after the request for service was made last year.

  Stay away from this product. Installed 4 years ago on my house. A leaking skylight mesnt a roofer came to my home. Was immediately concerned about the installation of the gutter helmet product. After having the roof torn off during roof and skylight replacement, the damge was obvious. Damage to roof rafters, facia boards, and soffet. Repair cost 2000.00 dollars. Can't imagine the extent of damage that would occur if the skylight had not required attention. Had the service rep come out to look. Denied any responsibility. Do your homework, talk to your roofer for their recommendation. Too late for me. Considering legal action. But small claims court would not cover the 4000.00 installation cost and needed repairs to my home.

  We had a Quality Control Inspector out to do a thorough assessment of the damage. The inspector determined it was caused by roof discrepancies, notably the leaking skylight, leaking around poorly flashed chimney,  several "dips" in the roof and rusty roofing nails under the shingles.  All of which are clear signs of roof leakage that will cause damage to rafter, soffit and fascia areas.

  My husband and I are so glad we chose Gutter Helmet as opposed to a different gutter service. Our salesman was very professional and made us feel very comfortable listening and asking questions about the product and service. The two gentlemen who installed the gutter covers worked very quickly without any issues and made sure to have my huband inspect the final work. Thank you so much for your service.
