      I'm making a complaint about the Comfort Inn in *********, ********. The complaint is twofold. (1) After providing them my *********** discount ID number and stating that I am a senior citizen, I was charged the same amount as listed on the website for booking a room for one night. This implies I received no discount. (2) To add salt to injury, I was transferred to ******** with Bluegreen Vacations, who lead me to believe that because I was a Choice member, I was receiving a great deal by staying at their resort for $299.00. I purchased the package, and after registering on their website, I discovered that I had signed up for a two-hour session promoting their Time Share. My overall complaint is I been scammed twice to just book a room. Needless to say, I don't trust Comfort Inn in ******************.

      Totally deceptive advertising! Their stay 2 nights and receive a 3rd night free, was a total scam. I received a free night verification email which when trying to redeem it, was told it is only ***** points, which wont qualify for a free night anywhere. At least ****** points needed for the same barely adequate hotel. I specifically stayed the second night to receive the free night. Terrible company. If I had another option of a hotel in the area, I would choose it. Ridiculous nightly prices for a subpar hotel. Dont trust them!

      Dear sir,On May 7, 2024, I reserve reservations at the Cambria in ********************* for May ***** for 3 rooms. I realized immediately that I had made a mistake and called the number that I was given. I did purchase nonrefundable tickets. I called within five minutes when I realized my mistake. I hoped that I could get a one time exemption for the money that I spent.. After many phone calls I was told that there would be no exemption and then I was out $1440.I am visiting ******** to attend a service for my cousin who is deceased. I was talking to his wife when I made the mistake. I knew that I needed refundable reservations because one of the parties had Covid and the other was facing a minor medical procedure and neither were sure of when they would be there. I canceled immediately. I am sure that I did not take anybodies space I am making one more appeal for one time cancellation exception, with refund. My confirmation number is____I cannot believe that a hotel would be so cruel as to not accept my appeal.

      Choice rewards program is a scam!! Ive been a member since 2019 and stay over 60 nights I became a elite diamond member which consists 50% elite points bonus Request up to 2hrs early check in and late check out and also you get extras.NO WHERE IN DOCUMENTATION DOES IT STATE ITS UP TO THE ******** NO WHERE ON DOCUMENTATION DOES IT STATE IF YOU STAY conservative nights you dont receive your extras! By law everything stated has to be honored if not stated other wise in written! They scam you into staying with them, then make excuses when they have to honor whats promised smh I received THE WORST customer service from *********************************************

      I had almost ******* Choice Hotel reward points stolen out of my account. ********************************************* customer service refused to return my points, even with overwhelming evidence that someone hacked into my account. In fact, ********************************************* customer service even assisted the thief by permitting them to change my account email, password, address, and telephone number without alerting me. Choice is a poorly managed and very dishonest organization. The employees who work for them should be ashamed of their career choice.

      Should be closed down booked a hotel from them it was at the clarion hotel in ********** ******** it was disgusting could not stay there the reviews were horrible but I didnt look before booking filthy filthy rude and both the hotel and choice hotels were rude hung up on me several times the board of health should close them down the man at front desk would not let me see the room before checking in had to leave and find another place please help I was charged ******

      Choice hotels reward membership is a scam. I spent $13,000 And stayed 95 nights and only got credit for 30 nights and ****** points. please never stay in a Choice hotel ever!! Unless you Light getting ripped off and never awarded the points you deserve

      I booked the Country **************************** by ******** in ********** for two nights. I did this through Choice Hotels at the referral of the hotel itself. I am a frequent traveler and always look at cancellation policies. Apparently I missed the fine print that said that if I was choosing a "Member Rate" that it would be non-cancellable and non-refundable. If you are a "member", one would think that means you would get a preferred treatment??!! This is a site that makes money based on repeat utilization of its site. So customer service should be a strength. When I called to see if I might be able to cancel it, ********* (customer service rep) explained that it was not possible. I explained that I am a first time user of *********************************************' site at the recommendation of the hotel and that this was not a positive experience. His response was "Mmm Hmmm". I asked him where in the reservation process I would have seen this and he could not tell me. I asked what the billing name on my credit card would be (Choice Hotels, ********, Country Inn, or something else) and the answer was not known. I highly encourage ******** to think twice about its partnership with Choice Hotels, and certainly about its recommendation to use them. I encourage Choice Hotels to consider training their customer service agents better in terms of response and customer management. And I encourage all travelers to think twice about using Choice Hotels or to at least know that there is very fine print that they should read before finalizing their booking. Given the reviews on this BBB site, I also encourage the BBB to take action.

      I joined the Choices Privileges to take advantage of the buy 2 nights stay and get the 3 night free as advertised everyone. I followed all the rules and received 8000 points. However, 8000 will NOT get me a night free ANYWHERE. Even the hotels I stayed at are ****** points, they werent great. This is false advertising. Im really disappointed and would not recommend this company to anyone. Its not worth the time and effort at all.

      Like many of the other reviewers here, I'm writing to warn of the extremely POOR service by Choice Hotels Corporate. I've been a Choice Hotels Rewards member for almost a decade and stay only at Choice Hotels when I travel all over the eastern US. But I am now leaving Choice Hotels because of treatment by their International call center and corporate. Because their website does not allow me to make online reservations, (which I've reported several times), I have to call to make reservations every time. I've been staying at the same hotel every few weeks for the past several months. When calling to confirm a previous reservation and add a new one, the agent cancelled the previous one (apparently she didn't understand the difference between CONFIRM and CANCEL in English). When I tried to get them to re-reserve the prior reservation, the rate went from $99 a night to $126 a night. I said no, this was YOUR mistake and I made this reservation months ago, so you need to honor that rate. They said no, they wouldn't as I have no proof it was the agent that canceled my reservation, and I must have canceled it myself. (???) They lied and said I canceled the reservation online and the agent at the International call center laughed at me, apparently finding my frustration humorous! I have been requesting the recording of the call to be reviewed, but corporate says the recording doesn't exist. . . . convenient? Thankfully, I called the front desk of the hotel in question and they fixed my reservations and honored the original nightly rate, but that's the last straw, I am giving up my Choice membership, as their customer service is abysmal. I am done with Choice Hotels Corporate and their call center and will no longer be staying at Choice Hotels going forward. Looking forward to Hilton Honors and ******* memberships.
