      They did not pay me my deposit back i stayed there January 3rd, 2024 all the way until January 17, 2024 , i was suppose to receive my 100 dollar deposit back after checking out its been 4 days and i still haven’t received my money! And they was racist acting towards me and my family and everything was completely dirty!

      After this hard freeze we had here in Louisiana my water lines were busted so stressed I asked my friend to call a hotel and get us a room. So to put the reservation in my name he hands me the phone and I proceed to give my info including debit card. When the operator confirms the hotel location I immediately said oh no I don’t want to stay at this location due to them also having water problems he said they didn’t have any issues. I asked are you at the location or is this a reservation desk. He said this is the reservation line I am not at the location. So I told him no I don’t want to book at this location because the reservation is non refundable and I don’t want to get there and the water is bad. He asked do you want to proceed with the reservation I said no. When we hung up he still sent me the reservation confirmation. I cancelled it. They still charged me. Told me I was aware it was a non refundable reservation and would not refund me my money. This is theft!! I told him to not proceed with the reservation!!

      The experiences I've had with the hotels themselves have been great, good rates, friendly staff, ect. My issue is the call centers the company uses (this is why my review is low). They are based in Honduras and they do not know the basics of customer service. I recently did a update to a reservation (the hotel was able to do the update which was great since i booked it through a third party site) however I forgot to ask the receptionist a question regarding an aspect of the reservation. So I called the hotels number a few days later and I accidentally chose the "reservations" option instead of the front desk so I got transferred to one of these call centers. The first thing the agent says is the name of a different hotel, I ask if he means the name of the hotel I'm calling about, which he responded rudely about. He asks for a confirmation number which I provided and I repeated it 5 times and the agent recited it back to me and then said he needed the conformation number to pull up the reservation which I had just given him. I told him I had just given him the number and he even recited it back to me. He began to get rude again and said "I need the number senor to pull up the reservation". I told him not to speak to me rudely and I'm just trying to fix this issue. He then disconnected the call on me mid sentence. Thankfully I was able to get ahold of the hotel front desk and they were able to fix the issue with the reservation. I told the receptionist about the call center and the receptionist said that the language barrier has been an on going issue with these call centers and just to contact the hotel with any reservation issues.

      Im truly disappointed. I was discriminated against for my service dog. I was told I could not have the room I booked because of my service dog. I relented and went into a different room that was truly subpar. No cable at all the water pressure in the shower is poor the biggest complaint is that the door lock to get into the room hardly ever worked it had to be reprogrammed many times when I had enough and asked for another room the manager said I needed a new reservation. I was upset and uphauled because Im paying for a room I cant get into. The worst part is instead of helping me he raised my room rate from 50 to 58 without telling me or giving me the option to check out. Dmitriy khimchak. is the manager these are his bad business practices. I caution anyone not to stay at this place.. There is a lot of criminal activity here. The police just broke a door down on the 3rd floor to break up a prostitution drug ring. The same floor I was told I could not have my service dog in.. I wish I could say these are the only billing issues but no. He also changed my date of pay from Saturday to Friday and has been steadily charging me a late fee for which i am never late. This is not a stand up business. I urge everyone to stay else where. Did I also mention that other people that checked into the same type of room at the same time are paying 52 dollars a day but im paying 58.Ive tried many times to resolve the issue but to no avail. DO NOT STAY HERE111111

      I reserved and paid for a non-smoking, king room a day in advanced. When I walked into the room after check-in it was a smoking, double. I asked for the room I paid for. The receptionist shrugged and said it was the only available room. I was told when I called customer service that nothing could be done once I took the key.

      After some back and forth the staffer offered a refund. I asked for a receipt of refund but they couldn't even provide that (corporate was - charges are still resolving).

      The hotel knowingly engaged in bait and switch activities, selling rooms they didn't have available leaving me at their mercy when I arrived after a day of travel. No real resolution or apology was offered and I had to go to another hotel.

      Hotel looked nice, clean but staff are sketchy, stayed for 2 nights this past weekend, for a rave at the intersection & this was the cheapest I could find. Everything went fine paid my dues and after coming home I seen they took an extra $50 out of my account without any notice or heads up, So I call them and question why? They told me I broke the desk in the room. Waiting on pictures for proof from the manager, I have a video of the room saying otherwise. Careful where y’all stay!

      Horrible my hair bleed out on the towels and bedding I am a choice member who got screamed at attitude because of this was not originally called with itemized charges and receipt but him tell me at least a hundred refusing actual balance to me then hung up ten minutes later called back charging me one sixty one for charges.. after rudely addressing it and pretty much exclamation he would make sure he would charge as much as he could . The. After this abuse I was asked to recall him to dispute charges and take more verbal abuse

      Bait and switch. I paid for a king sized and received a double. Company lied at check in and continues to lie about bed size. I took pictures. They said they cannot guarantee room size, but they sure took the money for the upgraded room and refuse to give it back.

      Disgusting hotel! Ended up sleeping in the car. Was denied a refund by the manager and then he accused me of defamation when I posted a review about it on google.

      If you are a big business guest AND find a location that is LESS than a couple years old......You MIGHT, just MIGHT have a decent stay. MAYBE.

      These are corner-cutting Franchise Operators with a serious lack of interest in service and support, their Email and Call Center support is 100% garbage. Joining CHOICE HOTELS was a mistake.

      Front Desk employees don't even seem employed by CHOICE HOTELS. They have access to check-in/check-out systems, and THAT IS IT! When you STILL have an unresolved issue at check-out, front-desk can only offer you a hardy "Sorry to hear about that.....NEXT!"

      FYI: if a guest has an issue, front desk has to call the OFFSITE MANAGER. This moron will likely pickup the phone to give a curt "Cant help them" and hang-up as quickly. Empty hotel must not need the business? **NORTH AUSTIN night manager on Nov. 19 2023, this moron is the General Manager!

      Front desk folk should be replaced with an actual kiosk if CHOICE HOTELS is going to limit their hired humans' sentient capabilities to the same simple functionality. It's offensive how these people are set up to fail in known-preventable issues with guests because the tools reside with some offsite do-nothing "manager".

      If you call the service line, get through the 3-6 minute number-tree, it's just one ESL Filipino after another. "My Supervisor" is just the incapable sitting next to them, but "please hold" for a TIMEOUT, they reeeeally want you to give up. These poor souls have LESS access to service tools than the front desk folk.

      Email-support yields the same result: NO RESPONSE, they just spam you with automated "sorry to hear about this" "Please let us know more about the issue," until you give up.

      It is CREUL to use these foreign services and further proof that CHOICE HOTELS does not intend to resolve any issue, ever. There is NO SUPPORT, stay at your own risk.

      CHOICE HOTELS is full of cheap morons and bad systems, never again.
