      Absolute disregard for ME the customer..Purchased a transmission with a 6 year unlimited mileage warranty, Made it 11000 miles before going out. I found out the hard way that I would have to pay $1000 out of pocket if I wanted my truck back and Powertrain Products would reimburse me.. Estimated reimbursements total over $700 of what I paid out of pocket, Now they're saying only $560 will be covered.. OK WHEN? all I have to do is wait 90 days.. FINE, I guess, no choice.. I wait 89 days, call back, Oh well the 90 days doesnt start until they take the faulty transmission apart, adding another 40 some days, I call back.. The claim has been approved, just waiting for the check to be printed.....I call back, Now they dont know what to tell me....UNaccepable! Ive been waiting over 6 months, I am NOT happy about the run around. I will advise anyone who will listen, NOT to even consider using any powertrain products

      I would give these guys a 0 if possible.
      Their engines are junk. We had ordered a 350 it came with several broken nut inserts which wasn’t a big deal. We installed the motor and not even 5 mins into the break in started to hear valve train noises. Pulled the engine apart to find out several lifters had failed and weren’t spinning in the motor which caused them to wear immediately. I called powertrain to explain what I found was told to take pictures of the lifters which I did and sent them via email. Waited 3 days never heard anything so called back and was told they had to get approval. I waited about a week or two and never heard back. I told them that I wasn’t laying the core until this was resolved. We’ll never heard anything thought they had just swapped the core for the money owed on the lifter replacement. About 5 months went by and I get a letter saying they are taking me to court for the core. Needless to say I called again and spoke with the warranty department they said I had to pay the core first then they would work with me on the warranty. Well I’m sure you know how that went after paying the core about a week or so later they tell me they aren’t going to warranty anything. These guys are a joke and I wouldn’t do business with them in the future they take your money and run.

      I bought a Chevy SM465 transmission and NP208 transfer case from these guys about a month back. First off when I got the two pieces I bought I was going to try to mock them up before I put them in my truck to see if everything looked proper to assemble to be put in my 1989 Chevy Suburban. That's when I seen the retainer ring for lock nut on rear tail shaft looked to have been beat up and scared when installed. I went through almost 60 emails back and forth and I don't how many phone calls to speak to a manager which took for ever for one to call me back because I felt the metal tabs on locking ring to be compromised and he pretty much said that he would stand behind his product that there was nothing wrong with installation and if I wanted to send the transmission back I could but would be charged $520 for restocking fee which I wasn't going to give them free money so I ended up putting their products in my truck and now the tail saft of transfer case is leaking as I put new fluid in which remind you the truck hasn't even been started nor moved from garage. This whole ordeal has cost me time and money, now to figure out how they are going handle the tail shaft housing leaking. This is the worst company that I have to dealt with. I highly don't recommend them what so ever. They even threatened to take me to court for my cores because I stopped payment for cores until I can get this resolved.

      This company is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They lie and tries to scam. Their engines are terrible. I received back to back bad engines from them and the warranty department keeps lying about the where abouts of my warranty refund. They said the check was mailed, then it wasn't, then it went out a few days ago, then it's being process. Each time I call they say someone will call me right back. That never happened, and I've called 10 or more times. Three months later and I still haven't received the Check. It's time Legal steps be taken against this company.

      Not happy with the product they sent a damaged transmission and I've been waiting over 5 months for warranty pay and still haven't received my payment for labor reimbursement wouldn't recommend buying from powertrain products go to fraser engines

      This company is a scam! Purchased a jeep transmission . Transmission had problems. The received video and information they request for the warranty. They sent a new unit. We installed and it worked great. After we called over 14 times to get information on paying the claim. Finally Dan told us that it would be 90 days from the time they received the unit. Well........shock of all shocks we are well past 90 days and guess what..........guess who did not send a check? Yep the scammers they be! We called back and spoke to Dan----amnesia or denial on what he said. (I am certain these 'honest' people are Democrats! Next call we spoke with Nicole. Nicole is carefully nice. She said Dan wasn't 'lying' when he said that. I asked what it was? Seems the Powertrain teams knows what is going on..........but they cannot speak for fear of......retribution, death, loss of employment....? I have now left a message for Ronnie ext 116 general manager. Naturally it was a voicemail......to be expected with the phenomenal customer service this company provides! I just want my claim paid....be honest....please pay it!

      I.i bought an engine for my 2009 dodge ram TRX it took 3 months t o get delivered It only lased about ***** miles it has a knock in the lower end of the block. Now powertrain said it has foreign material in upper cylinder NOT UNDER WARRANTY so I am now having engine removed so we can do a U-tube vidio to see what happened on lower end WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING else for these lairs and cheats.This engine was remanufacroted in ****** not Md. like the ad shows.

      Not a pleasant experience. Engine failed do to a broken rocker arm bolt and timing chain cover is leaking. This is due to poor quality. Motor failed before the first oil change. It's so much money thrown away. I really don't recommend them at all.

      This Company Does Not Care about the Consumer! They are causing nothing but stress and loss of income due to Non Customer Service. Doesn’t matter if you have a Warranty. No one answers the , “ Business Phone “. And when they do they are no help! Save yourself All the Stress and Stay Away from This Company!!!

      This company sent me a $4500 defective engine that I had to pay $1500 to have repaired over 3 months ago and they only willingly paying me $700 for all the repairs and maintenance that I have still not received any of the $1500 from them for the repairs. They agreed to reimburse me in February it is now June and I still have not received anything from them
