I called TD Auto Finance in August 2022 and asked that my automatic payment be turned off. They said it would be turned off. In September, I manually paid my bill and then a few days later, I found out TD Auto Finance had NOT turned off my automatic payments and had withdrawn money from my account. This left me overdrawn on my back account and I have incurred several fees since then. I called TD Auto Finance to resolve this issue. They checked and affirmed it was their error and said it would be at least 21 days before I received a refund check. Meanwhile, because of their error, I am overdrawn with no money,I am a ********* professor and have been helping out my parents in ******* after my moms surgery. I am impeccable about paying my bills.TD Auto Finance refuses to reimburse me electronically for an error they made in withdrawing from my account electronically. Ultimately, I see this as theft. On 7/20/2022, I Requested A Balance Transfer Of $2300.00, To Pay Off A Credit Card That I Have. TD Bank Charged Me $2300.00, Plus $69.00 Fee. Which Was OK With Me. They Told Me That A Check #*************, Had To Be Mailed To My Credit Card Company (PNC). They Said It Would Take 5 To 7 Business Days. I Thought That Was Strange, Because Most Modern Banks, Transfer Funds Electronically. After Waiting For Over A Month And Over A Dozen Phone Calls, I Was Told The Check Was Lost In The Mail. I Asked Them To Stop Payment On The Check, That They Lost And Reissue Another Check. On 8/16/2022 Check#*************, Was Mailed To PNC, For The Second Time. This Check Made It To PNC And Paid Off My PNC Credit Card. Also On 8/16/2022, Check #************* Plus $69.00 Fee Was Credit Back To My TD Bank Credit Card. On 8/30/2022 These IDIOTS, Stopped Payment On The Check That Made It To PNC, And Not The Original Check, That Got Lost In The Mail (*************). PNC Charged Me $27.00, For A Returned Check. So, For The Third Time, I Asked For Another Check To Be Sent. On 9/05/2022, Check #************* Was Mailed Out. It Made It To PNC And Paid Off My Credit Card, For The Second Time. BUT TD Bank NEVER Credited My TD Credit Card For Check #************* (The Check They Stopped Payment On). On 9/07/2022, I Went To TD Banks ************* In ********, **. I Spoke To The Manager (*****************). He Agreed With Me That I Was Being Charged Twice For One Balance Transfer. He Called TD Corporate Offices, And He Spoke To Someone Who Told Him That I WOULD BE Credited $2300.00 Plus $69.00 Fee. It Would Take **** Days Until I Would See The Credit In My TD Credit Card Account. As Of 9/26/2022, I Am STILL WAITING. I Feal TD Bank Has Bein Tracking My Purchases On My Credit Card And Because I Am Not WOKE Or A Left Wing Progressive, That Want To Destroy *******. This Is Their Punishment. upon exiting deferral they have played games pretending they can't take me off the Covid Relief program and I can only pay locally in ************ ( suspicious ) over the phone to collections which they have had me do for 11 months now! . Over a recorded conversation I agreed to paying no more than **** per month including taxes , they are criminal in behavior here in ************ and are threatening me with my credit which is currently 733 . They are dubious and just got paid for September ... and think I am sending them another 450 or more. The DEAL was taxes included . ' I have the recorded conversation .. we both agreed to recording . AND the lady in the conversation stated what can you afford no matter what . I said **** a month ... period ... principal , taxes and insurance ( its only a 175k loan fro 25 /30 years ) the VA was notified and STILL they managed to ignore the VA process and left them out of the loop so they could pull this .. in over twelve years they have received over 140, 000 minus taxes .. I still owe more than that and my original loan was only 175, 000 . They are conning me and threatening my credit . My payment this month 985 , more games on the phone , oh we can't take your payment . Oh I have someone on the phone who can now , Oh sorry *********** they can't take your payment . Oh collections have changed their minds they'll take your payment . we just don't know how much you owe . BS ! they state .. We can't see anything . Liars .. I want government assistance or to be a part of a national class action lawsuit or repair . I want my original agreed to payment which is currently 985 OR refinance with zero down , same rate and a LOWER PAYMENT . Don't let them blame it on taxes , we already agreed . NO MORE THAN **** . Im a retired Vet with 30 years of service . *** already contacted the VA several times , email, spoke on the phone . Always comes back to the same thing . Oh collection , oh we can't see . Td **** credit card, December statement Received $61.02 credit from previous complaint of double charge but they did not subtract it from balance due on Dec statement. Td bank has killed me in late charges I have called them when I was going to be late for 1 month and I worked my hardest to pay them the next month with my wife in the hospital fitting for her life I contacted them online with the same account number charges they have their website never came up I had account I have been affected by there late fee charges up to my credit score no consideration for my wife almost to diesBusiness Response

The TD Bank Branch located on **************************************************** stands as having one of the worst customer service within any branch throughout the banking sector. The employees at this branch do not follow TD code of ethics and conduct and are outright unruly when matters don't go there way be it improper or not. The employees at this branch don't provide reliable, dependable quality customer service way shape form or capacity and instead opt to accost, antagonize and even harass customers when they feel customers actions doesn't suit their needs. There is an incident in particular that aptly illustrated this. On September 20, 2022 a TD employee named ****** (who failed to provide last name, employee ID # or NMLS #) acted in a matter which violates TD's own mission to "demonstrate a commitment to delivering legendary customer service" and "make it as easy as possible for our customers to get the assistance they need, whenever and wherever they need it." This was stated by ***************************, former Head of Consumer Banking at TD Bank. The ****** branch at Market failed miserably in this effort. Instead of providing any customer service, they instead chose to do the direct opposite of this in creating conflict and absurdities that inflicts harm to the customer. ****** confronted a customer wrongly and his customer service approach was absolutely abhorrent. From the lack of proper ******************** Manager ***************************) and tact to de-escalate matters that are provoked and/or escalated by their employees (ex. ******) down to the security guard who is very rude unprofessional, the branch needs a complete overhaul. I am requesting TD Bank corporate to look into this matter, I am requesting that TD Corporate rectifies this matter by both addressing the issue and also reprimanding the employees who actively engage in this manner. This issue must not be overlooked and needs to be adequately addressed and properly handled by TD Corporate.Business Response

Had auto loan with TD Auto Finance. Have asked to have late payments removed which I was NOT late for, yet was refused. Paid off loan back in June. But they never updated credit report to show this.Have called them numerous times. Called them today. Keep asking to fix. They will not fix.I was credit report to be UPDATED to loan is paid in full. That the loan has been satisfied. I'd also like to request that there have been NO LATE PAYMENTS on my credit report. I would like my credit report to reflect this. My credit has gone down negatively and is affecting my life in a negative manner. They aren't reporting that the loan has been satisfied.Again, I want NO LATE PAYMENTS to be reflected on credit report as well as LOAN HAS BEEN SATISFIED.I no longer have the truck. TD Bank back in 2017 closed my account because of delinquency. I had to pay off that amount before opening a new one with a balance of $799.77. The amount was paid in person, cash, in 2017. Now in 2022 as of 08/19/22 I was charged $466.12 for an offset as well as on 09/15/2022 charged $521.32 for a total of $977.44. I was told there's also a remaining balance of $278.45.I have contacted every single person I can manage to get ahold of. The boss of one particular store with a job title of "Business Analysts Supervisor/Account supervisor" contacted me and told me that I could dispute the claim but there was no way they can reverse the offset. Also last week when I was in person they said they would do the exact same thing and nobody called me to give me an answer. I called back and spoke with the boss with a fancy long title. So I then called customer service. Since it was an offset they were unable to dispute it and said they would connect me to someone who could. I was connected with their ******************** The agent was not able to dispute the claim either. The only thing she noticed and was able to do was inquire and fill out an investigation of why I was being charged over the amount of the balance owed, which still doesn't solve the original problem of being charged 2x for something that was paid off in 2017.I seriously need help here. Nobody at TD helps. Everyone says can't do anything about it. Nobody seems competent or in any real position of power to do anything. I have a scheduled call with the supervisor's boss I had spoke to in the next 24 hours, "Business Analyst Supervisor". Essentially I'm speaking to every supervisor, getting their job title and name, and asking for their supervisor since every person contradicts themself with no consistency. I opened this card during the promotional time that it is an 18month interest free card. I worked very hard to complete the balance before the 18 month period. I made high payments every month to ensure this. I got the balace down to $1416. I then made plans to pay the remaining balance of $1416 in 2 payments before July ************************************ July I had to leave the country for an emergency. I figured I'd make the payments online just as I have always done. While overseas, I could not access the internet nor be able to make calls to reach customer service. When I returned I found that I had been locked out of my online account and required an agent to allow me back into my account. After doing so I noticed the July 2022 interest ($1097.17) had been added to my balance. This interest that was added is absolutely absurd considering my remaining balance was only $1416. I spoke to a customer service representative and made a payment of $1000 in good faith hoping to get the July interest removed considering my extenuating circumstances so I can pay the remaining balance in full. I was then told to reach out to the escalation team via email to resolve the issue. They did not get back to me nor did they provide me with any information. I reached out a total of 4 times before someone responded to me stating they will respond before 30 days after i had already been waiting for a long time. Every time i call TD customer service they do not help me and continue to tell me to email the escalation team. However, the escalation team does not respond back.Customer Answer
