      This business is essentially extorting money from people of ********. Rates are predatory, excessive and unjust. Should be banned from ********.

      Deceptive marketing practices and price gouging at the lot in **********, **. Though signs with small print are posted that explain that it is a privately operated lot, public parking is the headline. It looks like a municipal lot as you enter at the large blue and white P sign. It is clear that they want customers to trick customers into thinking that they are entering a town lot. My husband paid the ***** for the two hour minimum as we had taken all the kids out of the car seats, and without the knowledge that the nearby street spaces were only 2.00/hr (if they even was a charge on Sundays). There were no special events warranting a surge in price. If this business had any honor, they would post hourly rates at entrance and feature their own logo prominently on the sign.

Additionally, our lots are extensively marked with signs indicating that we are a privately managed entity, distinct from the city. Our company's name is prominently featured on these signs and on our meters, providing multiple references to our identity.

      Please note that as a private company, our rates may differ from those set by the city. We prioritize transparency by prominently displaying our rates on our meters. ******* undergo a clear process involving three screens to complete their transaction, with the option to cancel at any time before finalizing payment if they decide not to proceed with the displayed rate.

      I tried to extend my parking and your system wants to charge me another $28. My parking had not EXPIRED. I moved it and parked for FREE. You lost $8 now you have $0 for being greedy. I will never park with your company again. You interfered with a nice dinner. No wonder your lot is empty. I hope you go bankrupt!

      On Tuesday, June 18, 2024 I parked in a UPP lot in ********, ** (right next to the ************************** I paid using the ** code which was not straight forward or easy to use. When I returned well within my two hour time-frame, I had a $63.00 ticket. UPP, of course, had already taken my money so I sent them a screenshot of my credit card statement clearly showing that I had paid for two hours. UPP response: "It appears that the license plate number was entered incorrectly upon payment. We have voided this citation for you as a one-time courtesy." Excuse me, how condescending since they already had my money and wanted more. They refused to tell me what part of my license plate was entered incorrectly. Furthermore, UPP website does not have a place to appeal on their website. I hope the City of ******** ceases doing business with UPP as their practices are dishonest.

      I parked in the 1266 ********************* lot - tried twice to use my card and the machine would not accept - we would gladly pay the original cost of parking but as others have said the fines go up immediatly - with no place to dispute. Our notice is ******** -**************

      On 02/23/24 I parked at ************************ . I payed $22 with my credit card to park. When i returned to parking lot to leave i had a ticket for $63. Left my information several times so they can get back to me, but they never did. Ive been trying to pay the ticket online, because the amount will go up as time goes by. There is no office, no address, no answer..so i can dispute this ticket. Its a scam.

      This parking lot payment system is very confusing and consequently the first we paid for ***** which only allowed for 2 hrs. We spotted an attendant and he agreed that we should make an additional purchase so we purchased ***** for an additional 3 hrs totaling for 5 hrs of parking from 5:30 pm. So we figured we were good till 10:30 pm ..show got out at 10 pm and we got to our vehicle and had a citation for $63.00!!!Oh but if we were good And paid within 3 days .. it was only $43.00 !!!remind you we had already paid a total of $49.50 for parking!!Oh and if you are not good you pay $63.00 by 5/10 and there after $ *****!!! Such a money making scheme and rip off!! We do not plan to ever use one of their parking areas again and discourage others as well!

      Parked in a space by ********************* in ********, **. There were signs in one lane of spaces right next to the restaurant about paid parking. However, I parked in a space far from there where there were NO signs anywhere that these were paid spaces, nor were there directions about where and what to pay. Their replies to reviews here regarding their "transparency" are lies. They make their money (at least in this lot) by being intentionally vague about which spaces are paid spaces, so first-time visitors have no clue and are then coerced into paying an exorbitant fine. I will avoid any UPP lots I see in the future at all costs, this one in particular. This business is a scam.

It's understandable that you would expect clear signage indicating which spaces require payment. However, it's also important to note that parking regulations typically apply to an entire parking area or lot, not just specific spaces. It's still the responsibility of the driver to ensure they are complying with any applicable parking rules and regulations. We would also like to point out we are not running a scam. Our company has always been transparent with our customers by providing the rates on the meters and having multiple signs in our lots. Once again the signage in the entrance covers the whole lot.

      This company's lots are always empty for a reason. Their prices are exorbitant, they make it difficult to pay. They ticket you sometimes even if you DID pay, and their tickets go from $63 to $103 if you don't pay rapidly. Their signs deliberately look like public parking signs, but their prices are far, far more than the City of Burlington's public parking. And their business practices are suspect. Avoid at all costs.
