  I am 100% happy with my Rapid radios. I live in Tennessee, and I have family in California that I need to be able to communicate with in the event of an emergency. Well, I just used it for that exact purpose. Northern California has a huge wildfire and the cell phone wasn’t working. I was able to get ahold of them the Rapid radio with crystal clear communications. These just paid for themselves! Ask yourself what it would be worth to speak to your parent, child, or spouse in the event of an emergency. The cost of these radios is a bargain in my opinion. I’m a real customer - not a paid actor for an endorsement. Thanks rapid radios for an outstanding product.

  product as advertised. They actually work and CLEAR. Although, I use them within my city and neighboring cities but haven't used them at great distance or during a natrual disaster like some buy these for. I bought some different brand before and experienced the static interference issue. These are well worth the money for entry level type walkie talkies for daily use.

  I am a true believer in this rapid radio system...I can stay in contact with my wife securely...if shes having an emergency, she'll quickly notify me and I'll do all the necessary things to quickly help her since shes disabled and diabetic and she hates trying to contact me on one of those fancy phones....this is a whole lot easier to use, thanks rapid radio, we both love it!!!

  I have purchased 5 portables and 2 mobile units. They work great. We were even able to get an updated version of the portables software and now have even better reception than before. Tech support has kept in touch with me regarding any issues we have had usually within 24 hours. Great purchase.

  These little radios continue to deliver and impress. This past week my wife and I tested their capabilities over long distances.. almost 800 miles. They worked flawlessly. Unaffected by the distance, interior obstacles or cellular tower limitations. Today we tested them while my wife was in her home office and I was roughly 20 miles away driving down the highway. Once again the voice clarity and volume was superb. If youre looking for a cellphone alternative or backup communications service, you should seriously give Rapid Radios consideration.

  We began looking into Rapid Radios after the recent AT&T outage. That morning we could not connect with our office or our drivers. Our business stopped, as all our communication was through AT&T cell phone and tablets. We needed a level of communication within our company that wasn’t vulnerable to one incident. In our research of RR, we learned these radios are not carrier specific and are compatible with all providers, both GSM and CDMA. If one carrier were to experience an outage, it would use another, providing 99.9% coverage. Unlike cell phones, when calling is bogged down these radios will still work. We bought them, and tested them. We made calls from Michigan to California, we called in cell zones where there was only one bar of reception: every time Rapid Radios had crystal clear reception. We are very happy with their performance.

  I'm blown away at the negative reviews here. Rapid Radios has been great. They went through a really busy time in Q1 of 2024 where their shipments were delayed, but they were up front with it. Our radios work great, perfect? No. But they work off the cell network and if you don't have good cell reception in a building or in a certain area, the radios won't work well either just like your phone. They do work better than your phone in some dead zones though because of the small transmission. To the nay ******, if you don't like your radio, return it. They have a satisfaction guarantee where you can try the radios for 30 days and return them if you don't like it.

  I bought 4 rapid radios for my DJ business and it has not disappointed. These radios are by far the best out there for your money and the distance is non stop. If you are looking to get communication for your family or business, these radios are the ones to get.

  My experience has been good. Was able to talk with my son several states away and it was as if he was sitting right next to me. Process in receiving devices was smooth. Getting responses to questions has also been good. Highly recommend and have done so.
