    They NEVER pick up yard waste until the day after trash day. Trash pickup is supposed to be once a week, not 2 days a week! Do your job and pick it up. If you're behind, hire more workers and catch up. Get your sh*t together, ya bums! It can't be that hard to pick up trash on time. Maybe I should dump my yard waste on a supervisor/ manager's desk.

    If I could give them no stars I would. They are the worse company. How hard is it to actually pick up peoples garbage? Took me calling them 3 times this time to finally get a call back and the girl on the phone was rude. I shouldnt have to call the trash people to pick up my trash every few weeks. *** never had this issue. My trash was always picked up every Monday. Not Priority. You have to call them and when you question why your street wasnt picked up all you get is an attitude from what every person you get on the phone. Clearly from the other reviews and them not being accredited by BBB I am not the only one with issues from this company. I hope every city they have contracts with in Metro Detroit drop them! *** wasnt perfect but at least they knew that they are a trash company and that their one job is to pick up peoples trash unlike Priority. Their only Priority is making sure they get their money. Maybe if they made picking up trash their priority they would be able to be accredited by the BBB and not have so many negative reviews. Just a thought.

    Ms. ****, your garbage was picked up, and we have completed **** **** every week. Please ensure that your items are out the night before and by 7:00 a.m. the day of service. If there are special pick-up items, timing will vary during the day.

    This company has serious issues with billing! I was a GFL customer and they took over without any notice to customers. I recieved the first bill which said if I paid it, I was agreeing to be charged $150 if I canceled within a year, but I owed the money, so I paid it. Since they were picking up my garbage and the price was the same as my previous company and did not want to pay the early termination fee, I kept them. When the next billing cycle came, they would not send me a bill and kept emailing me. Like another customer, I could not log into my account to verify my bill because I was locked out. It said I had logged in too many times, even though I had only logged in once! It took over a month, 2phone calls and 2 emails to finally get a bill sent to me. I promptly paid the bill and the check has cleared my account. I also changed garbage companies. Now they are threatening collections on a bill that was paid weeks ago! DO NOT Do business with this company, if you can avoid it!!

    There were some of the transferred customers who experienced billing issues, we were forced to audit all of GFL's accounts because of inaccuracies.  There were some delays in this process.

    Worst company ever, DO NOT do business with them. They changed my bill, started charging me for services I had been using for years. Call them and the reps are nice but they cant help saying computer issues and cant look up old accounts. THEN, they stop sending quarterly bills and next thing I know I get a collections letter. I then call customer service and make it all right, ask them to mail my bill and they say yes they will. Been 6 months and no bill. I go to their website and can no longer log in. Go through their reset process (which sucks) and cant get reset email because they ask for my security questions (all of them that I know by heart) wont work. Not to mention, they introduced thier CAPTCHA process and it DOESNT WORK and keeps looping you to log back in. This is quite possibly the worst company I have EVER done business with in the 53 years I have walked this earth. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER COMPANY for trash service, as they will s**** you over and they DONT CARE!

    not worthy of even one star. Minor glich with my account and I can't get anyone to help. I have waited on hold for over an hour, have used their voicemail system to request a call back three times, used their support message system and the US postal service, trying to get help and never receive any type of response. Absolutely terrible. I've already made arrangement with another carrier to pick up my waste.

    I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Not picking up on time or at all. I have to call them so they can schedule a truck to come pick up my trash. There are 2 pick up days in my neighborhood for whatever reason. Tuesday and Thursday. Mine is on Thursday which they hardly ever pick up. If I leave the trash out until Tuesday they still won't pick it up. They drive right past mine and a few of my neighbors but puck up others. It seems that if you were a prior GFL customer (Thursday pick up) they don't care. They need to get their stuff together. Once they pick up my trash that has been sitting on the curb for 6 days, I'm going to cancel.

    We are sorry for your inconvenience and understand frustrations with service delays. However, the *** fleet that was purchased on July 1st has been significantly repaired and trucks are filling in the gaps in service areas. More improvements are on the way. We hope you stick with us through this operational period.

    We found out through word of mouth that GFL had sold our trash/recycle pick up to Priority. We never received any official notification from either business. We had prepaid for August and September. Despite numerous calls to report our trash not being picked up, they only picked up our trash one time. I called three times to cancel the service (which I never truly received) and they assured me that it was cancelled. I received an invoice dated for October. I called again and a woman in billing just transferred me without taking my name or information so she could cancel. I found out she transferred me to sales which made no sense. The man who answered at least took down my name and account number and said he would ask billing to remove me from their system. It's been very frustrating. We had to pay to remove the garbage that had piled up at the end of our driveway until I contracted with a new service.

    The billing records that came from the previous provider were inaccurate and auditing has been an ongoing process, we are sorry for any inconvenience. As for the transfer of the call, our customer service operators transfer calls based on the need of the caller. On the missed pickups, over the past 90 days operations have been getting the *** fleet that was purchased road ready and safe. There were delays in service especially in the more rural and remote areas. The technology and repaired trucks have improved dramatically, and we are at same day service levels in almost all areas.

    If I could check less than 1 star I would! I contacted Priority Waste to inform them I moved the house is vacate on June 15th. I will be selling the home July 10th. I informed Priority do not pickup anymore. The employee asked me for the name of the new buyer or scan a copy of the sale of the house! The name of the new buyer isn't any of your business! I contacted you to inform you not to pickup after the 15th and send the final bill! Which you didn't do either one. I logged on to setup unfortunately with Priority at my new home and not surprisingly Priority is still ***** me for my home that I sold in July and has me 90 days late! Do these city managers look at the reviews before hiring a company!

    Unfortunately, any communication related to billing prior to July 15th would be handled by the previous provider ***. a full audit of the *** accounts is being done and corrections are being made as issues arise.

    TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Unfortunately Sterling Hgts. contracted this company to replace *** at a higher cost to us. The bin lifter is so violent on the bins, they are not going to last more than year. Several times there was still a bag or 2 still in the bin after they dumped it leaving less room for the following week, so we had to leave 2 bags next to bin and they wont take them. This has happened twice in the 2 months they've serviced us. The grass clippings now must paper bagged, then the rain soaks the bottom so when they lift them they tear and they just leave the crap?This whole new change is not working, these people dont care, the city dont care, all this at a higher cost to us. Disgusting. Their website shows 5 stars, but complaints from everyone and 1 star here. what a joke.

    Unfortunately, when a 95-gallon cart is over packed sometimes items get stuck in the bottom. Also, occasionally paper lawn cutting bags do get water soaked by rain and burst when being picked up.

    If it was possible to leave a zero star review I would have. I purchased a wheeled compost bin $75) from *** about a month prior to the sale to Priority. **** trucks were always there on our scheduled trash pickup day and even emptied the compost into the yard waste truck whereas Priority has not. They either don't pick it up at all or dump it in with the household trash, which I thought was a violation. It's going on three weeks now and I would like to be able to use my compost bin. Have spoken to the admin assistant in the ******* Twp public services office and attempted to contact Priority, and they either can't figure out what I am talking about or just ignore me.
