    After a full investigation of the complaint submitted and the individual submitting the complaint, our office has been unable to locate a client/customer by the name, address, phone, and/or email of the individual who filed the complaint.

    All of our clients/customers are known and cataloged. In addition, prior to becoming clients/customers of **********************, all clients/customers are required to sign a representation agreement with our office, to which no representation agreement was located in the complainant's name.

    We are only able to respond to complaints filed by Velo Law's clients/customers. As a collections law firm/agency we have many interactions with debtors or customers of our client (but not Velo Law's customer).

    Unfortunately, under federal and state consumer protection laws Velo Law is not even able to acknowledge if a specific debtor is in our system.

    I've had a garnishment that started in 2019 for medical bills owed for ****** Healthcare of Cadillac. Velo Law Office is the attorney's office representing ******. They garnished my state taxes in 2020, 2021, & 2022 which left me a balance of $305.76 on the medical bill owed. I filed my ************ kept $229.25 out of my state taxes for the debt. In addition, Velo Law also garnished my employment wages thru ************************* for two pay periods for a total from the wage garnishment of $533.78. They did refund me $225.50 for the overpayment from my wage garnishment & claimed they had not receieved my garnished state taxes yet, which would also be an overpayment. I received my garnishment relaease shortly after March 14, 2024 & the satisfaction of judgement shortly after March 26, 2024. I've emailed them several ************ finally said they receieved my state taxes on March 27, 2024 & mailed them out on April 4, 2024. As of April 13, ****************************************************************** the amount of $229.25 from Velo Law. If you need additional supporting documents I can email those as well.

    I did FINALLY recieve the check for overpayment from my state taxes. I received it 10 days aftwr they originally said they mailed it & approximately 2 weeks when they received my state tax check. Velo law had plenty of contact with me via email & phone. They were representing ****** Healthcare in Cadillac & I was the garnishee.

    This company sent an email to an employer with a copy of the default judgment, that has never been served to me. I have never even had this debt with this company. The email included my full social, debt judgment, which is against FCRPA guidelines that states debt collectors can not speak with third parties regarding my debt. Especially when I myself have never been contacted by this debt collector regarding this debt. Further the default judgment states it was sent certified mail, meaning someone had to sign for it and I didnt even live in that state anymore.

    Velo Law has violated the ***** on numerous occasions, refuses to take phone calls, and claims I owe $2.11 even though the matter has been paid.

    I went threw this program and the government paid for the windows and the young lady at bank had given them check and her name was ***** she had paid them with a cashier check and the company Bay To Bay sent this to collection and they were paid in full she worked for ************ so I would like for them not put this in collections

    Velo law has 5 open collection accounts under my name accord to ******************* for eviction that have been paid for years this company refuses to give me information or contact the courts to have this issue resolved with five open eviction I can not obtain housing and me and my kids are homeless ..according to Velo law the only have two account for me one closed and one that is garnishing my wages . The representative that answers is very rude they charge interest on court orders just a scam all the way around

    Velo Law ,via debt from ***************************, for health services is harassing and violating rights. **** filed and I agreed to pay $75 per month on $6,000 which I technically only owed about half of that. SCH debt didnt match to my appointment days and I was also being billed under insurance prices and not as someone without insurance, which makes what they charge half. With that being said I have been paying $75 per month consistently for years and now my debt is just under $3,000. I missed 1 payment last Nov due to the money order being stolen from a locked vehicle in my sun visor. I did not have another $75 at that moment but with that being said **** garnished my state tax refunds twice now which to me is a garnishment that should have never been allowed as my debt was being paid, so that 1 missed payment technically they got paid for as they illegally garnished my taxes. They have had close to a year but they chose to come after me right as I moved. My mail was on hold for 30 days and when I went to get mail they had already forwarded to new address that I submitted a week early my mail was at a different location being why I didnt get the same day I put change of address in. I also was told my held mail was rerouting to ******* **. Why does mail go to *******? With that being said I still have not received any paperwork from Velo and just been blindsided with them via job to take $700-$800 a month. I currently am staying somewhere temporarily, had I had a lease this would have made me homeless leaving me with only $2,000 to live on to cover all my bills. This is disgusting and any judge that would even consider signing such an order when debt is being paid and agreement met monthly, is just downright not playing by the rules but ***************** and Velo work together making working people homeless out here trying to get buy in this absurd economy. **** also gave my private payment history to my job. **** refuses to talk and resolve like humans.
