      My contract states that I am entitled to repair for nail polish remover stains. Yet the denied my claim based on "normal wear and tear," despite my contract stating that the incident is considered repairable. Absolutely scam.

      Wish I would have read these reviews before paying for Guardsman! I had a huge furniture order for my new house and paid between 8000-10,000 for this coverage. I filed two claims and the customer service is HORRIBlE. They are closed half the time. You are on hold forever. I had a representative tell me he could do nothing more for me and hung up on me! The contractors they send out to look at the furniture are just as rude. It is NOT worth the money. They are just awful to deal with.

      I would not even give this company 1 star. We purchased 5 warranty plans through guardsman, understanding that 'if they are not used' we could request a refund. When I tried to contact this company I was sent back to the furniture store, who sent me back to them. I have been hung up on 3 times by Guardsman so far. The refund department had me type a formal request, gather all receipts that showed our purchase amounts, and snail mail it, only for them to deny ALL protection plans for refunds. We have never used a single one and did file a claim, which they never serviced. If the refund department knew their own policies and this was going to be denied, why would they have mentioned this whole process...for the fun of it? Following up today to ask questions and I have already been hung up on AGAIN! Currently sitting on hold with them for the last 30 minutes. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING THROUGH THIS COMPANY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

      They make almost impossible to submit a claim and when I finally got everything filled out and pictures sent, they told me my furniture was only partly covered but they didnt specify which part. I spent $300 for the gold package and was told that covers everything pretty much no matter what, including the animal damage that I submitted.

      Bought a whole house of furniture in March 2020 along with Guardsman Warranties on everything from Nebraska Furniture ...in less than 2 years the Barstools fell apart , the couches were pilling. I 5 filed claims. All claims were denied. These warranties cover nothing , they are a complete scam again I say complete SCAM ...Do not buy them , Don't listen to salesmen pushing them ...They won't cover anything .... TOTAL SCAM !!!!!

      We bought a guardsman protection plan for our furniture. EVERYTIME we have something wrong with it I put in a claim and they come up with some reason why they wont cover it. EVERYTIME!!!!!! This is a joke and a waste of time and money. The customer care people are definitely not in customer service. They are not there to help you out I had the guy hang up on me when I told him that it was not a stress tear it was a rip in the fabric.

      Purchased a reclining sofa from ******** Convertible in September 2017. We also purchased a 5 year protection plan from Guardsman with the sofa. According to the protection plan, all rips/tears were covered under the warranty. In June 2022, my sofa suffered several rips/tears. I pulled out the service contract to ensure that we were under 5 year window to file a claim and we were. I contacted Guardsman and filed a formal claim which included photos of rips/tears in sofa. I was contacted on July 11 and was told my sofa was not eligible for repair. This warranty company does not stand by what it advertises and I would suggest not purchasing any warranties from them.

      Fo not honor or respond to submitted claims in a timely fashion and then they finally respond saying yoy have not submitted information within time frame. My question to the BBB would be how can a company like this still be operating within our countries with this service. We have purchased warranty with furniture in the past and coverage stated as guardsmen that the Gold plan covers anything- pet damage, cushions sagging , discoloration etc and has been covered ; however, guardsmen comes up with it is normal wear and tear. We have ripping, cushions sagging, back rests sagging back- we initially contacted store of purchase because it was within a year of delivery; however, not year of purchase and were told we had to go through warranty- do not purchase from ASHLEY ********* EITHER.( also my mistake should have asked for email outline our dicussion- i know better rather than relying on phone call reference) Left on holidays outside of country and when returned in April 2022 called guardsmen and were told to submit online. Submitted claim with photos and copy of receipt with store name, invoice number and date of purchase. Never received any reply finally had time contacted by phone again were told had to login to guardsmen site with number given as there is a message for us. Went in and were asked to send a different picture if invoice as credit card receipt covered policy #; also wanted couple other pictures. Sumbitted, received an email back saying we did not send additional items in a timely fashion. What a crock as we were never told information would be sent through login area. Information should be sent via email. I would like to see these companies held accountable for their inactions. Huge scam

      I had slight damage on a corner of a sectional that was found to be fully covered by the Guardsman warranty, however, they determined that they could not repair the damage so offered either a settlement check or replace the entire piece. I opted to replace the entire piece since the rest of the 7 piece sectional is in perfect condition. 3 weeks later I was notified that the piece is no longer available either but now my settlement check is LESS than a third of the original offer. I called Guardsman and they informed me that the first offer was a "TYPO" and that now my ************ are to take their settlement check of less than a third of the price of the sectional or take a store credit of the original settlement price but I also have to return my entire sectional where 6 of the 7 pieces are not damaged. So in summary be completely cheated out of what my sectional is worth and accept a ridiculous settlement check or return an almost perfect 7 piece sectional to get a store credit and need to buy something else I don't want and with the current economy end up having to pay a significant amount out of pocket as well to get the equivalent. Strongly recommend not using Guardsman horrible customer service and they do not provide the service you employ them for.

      Need repair on lift recliner for handicapped person immediately. We have no other comfortable chair. Why buy extra warranty? Very unsatisfied. HELP.
