      Trash scam company, had me pay for a warranty, then when time to use it, INSTANT denial after jumping through hoops for 2 months to get someone to take a look at it. Afterwards sends me an email saying sorry we deny every claim, and that was it. These are scam companies preying on people and the fantasy of having any type of warranty claim fulfilled. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY WARRANTY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!!!!!

      Purchased some leather couches and the % year Guardsman warranty with it. I have dogs and they torn a hole in the arm rest and I made a claim and they denied it. Saying it needs to be done within 30 days and that it was an exessive tear. I was not told about any exessive damage when purchased, and nor did Guardsman when I sent in the info for the damage. As long as I live I will not recommend anyone to make any kind of purchase towards Guardsman whats so ever! Also the lady Jasmine that took my call was trying to get loud with me very rude! Horrible business practices from this second hand company!

      I would give a zero if I could! Purchased this in 2020 for a sofa and loveseat. Have never filed a claim until now. My granddaughter peed on my couch, but because there is no visible stain, only the odor, they will not do anything. So now I can't even use my couch without smelling pee and they won't do anything!!

      These guys are a joke! customer service is terrible! Would not recommend these guys for anything! I bought a protection plan when I purchased my furniture. Called them to file a claim, then they sent a link. I submitted the claim but for some reason they did not receive. I resubmitted recently and they told me that I only had 30 days to submit. That is the reason that they will not help me with my claim.

      This company is 100% a scam. They sell their product as a protection plan and literally dont cover any type of damage. I have no idea how they are even accredited with the BBB. We had outdoor furniture and bought the protection package. One of the chairs broke a year into a 5 year plan and they claim that type of damage isnt covered. Do not buy this coverage as its a total scam and complete garbage!

      I purchased the plan when I bought new furniture from **** *****. This plan is worthless. After one month, the chair on which my husband sits had a dark film from the dye of his old jeans. The company indicated that this is not covered by the plan.

      STOP DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, this is the worst company I have ever came across, my sectional has 3 reclining chairs, which 2 of the 3 stopped at the same time, I filed a claim on 10/30/2024 and as of 11/13 I still have not received no service, so 2 of the recliners are stuck in recline position, I have called 11/04/2024, 11/06/2024, 11/12 to both Guardsman and Haverty with no luck in getting a date for service.

      This company is a total scam. I purchased a 5 year protection plan, that included pet protection. I spent close to 10k on furniture from Bassett. My cat scratched 3 areas of a sofa and a chair while my husband and I were gone for a weekend. I immediately filed a claim and was given 3 different reasons by 2 different customer service reps and "upper management" why my claim was denied. They consider themselves pet psychiatrists and actually told me that the damage had to be done over a long period of time. They do not care about the customers and I wonder how many claims they actually approve. I'm willing to bet that the percentage is low!

      I purchased Guardsman Insurance for several pieces of furniture and rugs. I spilled coffee on my rug, which is covered in the plan.I contacted Guardsman and sent all the information they requested. Guardsman notified me and said they were sending a contractor to assess the damage. The contractor never contacted me! I contacted Guardsman several times. Finally, Guardsman agreed to send another contractor. The contractor texted me, but said they couldnt schedule anything for a month. In the meantime, the coffee stain is still on my rug getting worse!I explained that the longer they wait, the more likely the stain will not come out. They didnt care. The contractor notified me that they had a 4 hour windowmorning (9-1pm) or afternoon. I scheduled the morning appointment and explained I needed them there by noon because my husband is in the midst of daily cancer radiation treatments and I need to drive him to the scheduled treatments. They said they noted it and would inform the technician. The day of the appointment, 30 minutes before the technician was scheduled to arrive, they called to tell me they couldnt be there until 12:30. I explained that I had no choice but to cancel because I needed to drive my husband to his appointment. They said I couldnt reschedule and I needed to contact Guardsman, which I did. Guardsman provided another contractor, who didnt contact me for a month to schedule an appointment and then after a month contacted me and said they scheduled an appointment for the next day. I explained that I would not be home. They said I could not reschedule and again, call Guardian. I called Guardian and told them I was not happy and just wanted my rug replaced, which the policy covers. THE COMPANY SHOULD ***** BY THEIR CONTRACT AND REPLACE MY RUG!! The person on the other end hung up on me! Terrible company and a waste of money!!!
