I purchased a ******************** from this firm and from the time of installation it was exhibiting "Blowby" to which we followed the directions from the business. It got worse, we sent videos, and it was decided that we had to remove the engine from my truck and ship it back to the plant. That was done in June of 2024 and we have been begging for a replacement since then. We have been told multiple times "by weeks end" and at one point they said the motor was ready to ship back and I had to pay $ ****** to make it happen. I paid the money even though I personally didn't agree it wasn't right but the motor is that important...The Motor never shipped. We sent a demand letter in October 2024 and there hasn't been communication since.I have to pay the mechanic shop another $ ******** to Receive another engine and assemble the parts on the long block and Install it in my truck. I have been warned that my New Injectors and HPOP have been sitting for over six months exposed to the elements which represent another $ ******** in potential exposure and there is all the miscellaneous products such as oil, filters, and other fluids that add up quickly I will Lose Money due to the failure and misrepresentation of the firm not to mention my mental stresses of being manipulated for months with false promisesCustomer Answer

Team,
This is reaching 31 weeks and I do not have use of my vehicle and cannot move forward. The truck still requires ************** per the State of ********* and still costs me monthly not to mention the limited use of my vehicle when we were going through the complaints process prior to removing the engine. This has deep financial impacts and since we sent the 30-day notice back in October, we have not heard from anyone at this firm again!
We have videos, communications, and professional feedback as to the condition of the ******************** received.
Just wanted to touch base as this is coming up on its 4th week since reported
Respectfully,

The failure of the customers engine was that the cam was spun in block. We did not have a new block for the customer, in to rebuild his engine, as the previous engine was done, due to the cam being spun on the block. We just got them some blocks in and will try to ship the customers engine next week.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I am 31 weeks without the Engine for my Truck Today
I have been told multiple times that next week a motor will be sent out and at one point the motor at the time failed before being mounted to the crate.
How will the Quality Control be different as this Engine Replacement Process is anywhere from 4 to $ ******** especially when the truck has to be partially reassembled and pushed out in the lot.
I need a reliable engine that will be a turnkey ready for years of service product and this statement delivered says they couldn't find an engine BUT didn't say that and Did Not offer a refund for the purchase and labor expenses
Sincerely,

I had an oil leak on the left side of my engine. I found my warranty and it said that oil and coolant leaks were covered by warranty. So I took my pickup back to my mechanic (the one who installed the engine) and he found that the valve cover gasket was bad. I called the warranty people and they said they did not cover valve cover gaskets. What the hell?Business Response
Date: 12/10/2024
We do not install valve covers, so this is not a coverable item. Nor are valve covers covered under warranty. ***** covers are not an internal engine component.Customer Answer
Date: 12/10/2024
My warranty clearly states (line 12) oil and coolant leaks will be covered for 24 months or ****** miles, whichever comes first. The aforementioned engine was sent back to the manufacturer for low compression on the number one cylinder. Therefore the rebuilder (accurate engines) would have had to remove the valve cover to do a compression test. So due to the poor quality workmanship my engine has a leaky valve cover. Rebuilder needs to be forthcoming and stop making rules up regarding warranty.Initial Complaint

Ordered an engine from *** in October of 2023 after they told me they had it in stock. Then they stopped answering phone calls and emails and never sent me any shipping info. Finally spoke to ***** in January and got one shipped. I received the engine 3 months after I ordered it on January 18th 2024. My mechanic installed it the following week and said it had a misfire in cylinder number 3 so the head needed to be replaced. He called and sent text messages to Accurate Engines for about a month or two before someone finally got back to him. He told them what was going on and that hed fix it if they would pay for the repairs. They insisted that I ship the engine back to them so they could look at it. I didnt hear anything from them for a couple months and then they called my mechanic to tell them that it was my injectors and not their engine. Now theyre saying its going to cost me another $3000 to get it back because they repaired the injectors without ever asking me. I should only be being charged for the shipping because I didnt authorize any repairs from them except for what is covered under warranty. It has now been 14 months since *** had my truck and I still dont have an engine back. When I spoke with them today via text because they wont talk to me on the phone they said I needed to send the engine back to them for repairs, but I sent it to them months ago and now theyve supposedly already repaired it. Im not sure whats going on over there, but Im $15,000 down and still dont have a vehicle and still have to pay for shipping again and another $2500-$3000 to my mechanic to reinstall the engine if I ever get it back. I have been ignored and lied too for over a year by this business and Im not sure how to proceed with them. My suspicion is that it was their fault and they had me send it back so they could make up something else that was wrong so that they wont have to cover it under warranty. Thats how it seems to me.Business Response

Invoice date: 7/1/2024 Invoice ***** Engine ordered and delivered as agreed upon. Core sent back promptly and was supposed to be issued $500.00 for the refundable core deposit. After a month of not seeing this (as the invoice shows that "once core is returned, a credit will be processed within 30 days back to the card used"). On Sept 9, 2024, I phoned ******** who was very nice and shared that they changed system and check would be mailed instead, that they were running behind, she would put in for a priority and check would be mailed mid-October. Oct. 23, 2024, I phoned ******** again who was quick in phoning me back, and said the exact same thing...they were running about 45 days behind and she would again put a priority on it but this time had no idea when they may get the check mailed out. She also added that she has other customers who are waiting and it's been longer than mine. I told her that was not at all encouraging!! This is terrible! This is UNACCEPTABLE and I cannot image telling a customer that. $500 is allot, especially now a days. We purchased this from them with the understanding, and as stated on the invoice, this would be refunded back to us within 30 days. We are far beyond 30 days. I am fine with it being in form of a check, or if it was by card, but I just want it back as advertised and promised. I don't appreciate the run-around and empty statement that it would be sent....well, when??? It's exceeded your advertised terms on your invoice! A business should not be able to put out and tell customers something that isn't truthful. If it was going to be 3, 4, 5 months, than it shoud've stated that. We would greatly appreciate the return of our $500!!! To some people, that's allot of money that we could use that is rightfully ours!! Please refund this back to us.Business Response

We did fix this customers engine at no charge to the customer. Customers original complaint was that the engine was making noise, we asked that the customer bring the engine here for us to fix. We had ****** look at the engine on 8/27/2024. ****** found that rods were spun and the sheet metal installed was dirty, including the front cover, and oil pump. The issues were caused by installation issues. We replaced the crank shaft, a rod, put in a new oil pump kit, and the gaskets needed to complete the job. We fixed the engine for free. Per the warranty, internal engine components were fixed, but this does not include the external engine components. External engine components include parts like the spark plugs, thermostat, water pump. The spark plugs are never plugged on any of our engines. If the customer is unhappy with the engine still, after we fixed, he is more than welcome to reach out to us at ************ and we will go over everything with him. We do ask that the customer does reach out to us before filing a complaint.Initial Complaint

In January of 2024 I order a 6.7 power stroke long block for my truck for a total of $9,084, only had to pay $2,000 at the time purchase until the motor was ready. On march 8th 2024 I sent the old motor back to get a core charge refund of up to $1,500. As of September 16 2024 still no refund or word from the company that the check was being sent out when I was told it could take up to a month before they can issue a refund. I try to call and text company but they just keep giving me the run around saying it will be sent out the following weekend but they do not send it outBusiness Response

Ordered engine November of last year. Was advertised as having a full warranty (could not open it online) and with a $500 core charge. Company initially forgot to send engine. When they finally did it was defective (paint on inside of engine) they send a second engine. Same issue. They sent a third engine. Again it had the same issue, this time I corrected the issue myself with their approval by cycling oil through it.Each time I had to contact them they refused to answer the phone. It on average took 2-3 weeks of calling 4-5 times a day before I finally got a hold of someone, turning what should have been a 1-2 month ordeal into a 4+month ordeal. When all said and done they didn't send the reimbursement check for the warranty. They finally did, but for half of what the mechanic bill does stating they only pay $55 an hour on warranty. I feel this is unreasonably low in today's market seeing as my mechanic was one of the cheapest in my area at $100 an hour. Didn't reimburse me for the oil, which was promised. Leaving me about $1000 short on the mechanics bill for what was advertised as a full warranty (the salesman also assured me on the it was)They also still have not reimbursed me the core charge which they have listed in writing on the invoice and on their website. that's $500 they owe me on that alone.I feel the warranty was falsely advertised, their engine manufacturing process defective, and their customer service to be nonexistent. It shouldn't take 3 weeks of calling 4-5 times a day and leaving multiple messages to get ahold of them. According to their site I should have had the engine in ***** days. It took 45. And between the defective engines and the 2-3 weeks between contact I was without a vehicle for over 4 months, with every single delay on their end, without any attempt to make it right, and they refuse to even give me the money they say they owe me.Business Response

Please be advised that the warranty company paid ******************** $1,155.00 on 4/27/2024. We can provide proof of this check if need be.Customer Answer

Complaint: 21902580
I am rejecting this response because:First off they absolutely paid the 1155. But they did NOT pay the $500 core charge for the engine I sent them.
By their OWN paperwork and on THEIR website they promised a $500 refund for my core which I NEVER received.
And the $1155 is a unreasonably low number, especially seeing the grief they put me through. The average hourly rate for mechanics in the ** is $145. My mechanic only charged $100. Which would make the total for the warranty repair around $2000. Only paying $55 an hour which is what their check was for is highway robbery, especially since their website promises full warranty. Paying 1/3 the going rate for labor is far from a full warranty it's false advertising.
Quite frankly I want at the very minimum the $500 core charge promised. Making up the difference in the labor would be nice, especially seeing as it was their lack of customer service that led to the mess, but at the minimum, by their own rules, they still owe me $500
Sincerely,

I purchased a reman 6.0 for my F350 in February 2023 and bought the extended warranty. I replaced the high pressure oil pump, turbo, injectors and more, over $4000 in parts. I drove it the first 500 miles then changed the oil. That engine died in the fall of 2023 due to metal shavings in the cylinders. I've dealt with *** and **** in sales who simply tell you what you want to hear. After multiple calls to Accurate Engines, *****, the owner of Accurate Engines, told me to ship it back and they would repair it. I paid $4000 to uninstall the motor. I received the "repaired" engine back for reinstall in late March 2024. The "repaired" engine was ***** and had paint spray throughout. My mechanic cleaned it up which also cost me additional labor. Again I replaced high pressure oil pump, turbo, injectors and more, over $4000 in just parts. I put the first 500 miles on it and changed the oil as required on the warranty. The "repaired" engine died within the first 600 miles. ****** ***** who told me to send the "repaired" engine back and he would give me a refund. Again, ***** said he would issue a refund to me! The "repaired", now dead engine was returned April 2024. It's now June 2024 and after multiple calls, texts, emails, and voicemails that went unanswered, I received a call and was told that a refund "is not gonna happen". Accurate Engines never returned my original core charge, they've received three engines from me. I've paid nearly $20,000 for mechanics to uninstall/reinstall their faulty motors. I'm due a refund for the engine of at least $8,884. Their business practices, lack of response, poor quality products, and workmanship is absolutely unacceptable. This is not a business, it's a money maker for *****.
