Issue started with first engine. Once received and installed, problems arose. Day 2 post install, my 15' ***** Equinox would not start, slow acceleration, and would putter in idle. Took the vehicle back to mechanics where it was inspected and coolant was found in the engine. Communication between Accurate Engines is terrible. Voicemail box is full, no one returns calls, etc. Finally able to get ahold of their sales rep who gets someone to call back. They want tons of proof, which was given, their response was they would send a new engine. Days go by and finally they just send a "new" engine. Install goes smooth, but same problems occur post install. Metal shavings found in oil filter, and down in the block. Zero communication for days, and when there finally is a response they want it brought down so Accurate can figure out what the problem is. they have it for 2 weeks, say the engine is fixed and driving well. After scrambling to get to GR from Cadillac they say they replaced a coolant bypass because it was leaking but never called to ask or provide update, though it is stated that someone from "Parts" would contact, should any additional parts be necessary for completion. They expected payment on the spot though. Proceed to drive off the lot and car barely starts, is still misfiring, drive back to accurate where they try everything they can all day to make it not an issue with the engine. They find intake is cracked, and a huge scratch in the left passenger door is found. Intake replaced, problems still exist state must have been a build up in the exhaust. Drive the car back to Cadillac, AGAIN Cylinder 1 is misfiring, code is thrown now for fuel pump, metal shavings in the engine, poor communication! This started June 15, 2023 it is Sept. 28,2023. Problem has not been resolved, money is lost, and vehicle has not been operational for 3 months due to neglect of this company.Business Response

Purchased a 6.0L **** Powerstroke rebuilt engine in November of 2022. Item was promised in two weeks. Engine was supposed to be completed by December and installed by Christmas. After myriad of excuses, motor was supposed to be sent in February of 2023. Item never shipped. I have never received any contact from the company with respect to solving this situation, nor has anyone ever reached out to me to give a status update. I have initiated all contact and all of it has been negative. All of the parts suppliers that were used for this engine were contacted by me to confirm in stock and available status throughout the build process. Everything was available and had not changed in price since the original order. I have several texts, email, and phone calls with these companies to show that I was being given the run around. The mechanic's shop was charging storage fees since December since it was not their fault the engine was not delivered. As a disabled Veteran who lives in the desert of *******, not having this truck has caused severe hardship and financial loss. My entire ranch has suffered because the truck has been unavailable for over 8 months through no fault of mine. I expect a full refund by check of the total price paid PLUS 30% to go towards the fees assessed by the shop for these inexcusable delays. I have had to tow the truck back to my house as I can no longer afford to pay the storage fees and I still have no idea when this engine would be completed. My estimate and estimate email are included to show the TWO WEEK build time #****-3087 My invoice number is ***** and the *** is included I need this resolved as soon as possible so I can get my vehicle repaired and get to and from work.Refund required - $9685 (7450+30%)Business Response

My truck broke down I had it towed to Accurate engines they said they could replace it with one of their remanufactured engine and guarantee it for 3 years ******* miles they said it would take two weeks to start on it and two weeks to complete it well it's been 3 months they called and said the vehicle was done but not running properly and I would have to have it towed out when I asked them questions they couldn't answer later they had an inspected by an outside shop who found a different issue meanwhile my truck has been there all this time I've never been able to pick it up they've never been able to get it to run properly they don't answer phone calls or emails if they can't repair it I will pay a portion of the bill and move it to another shop if they can fix the vehicle and call me that would be wonderful at this point I've lost confidence in the shop I don't know if they're going to close the doors and I'll never see my truck again there's no communication no explanation of what they're doing and when I drove by I didn't see my truck on the lot or in the shopBusiness Response

I leave messages and no one returns my call.. My invoice # is *****. Attorney *************** complaint #is 2023-0370148-A. Because they had my engine for ******************************************************************************* that my car suffered further damage. Brakes due to rusting, battery and tires due to sitting. I feel that accurate engine should compensate me for the damages acquired for the length of time they had my engine.

I purchased an engine from them and received it May 26th 2022. Have had it in shop more than I have drove it. Was told the engine needs to be sent back because its not getting oil through the top. So my service department wont pull engine until they get paid from the warranty work they have already done. I sent invoice to them March 24, 2023 and was told check will be sent out April 8th. I never received it and nobody will return messages to me or answer the phone calls. I need this engine fixed and running as I need this vehicle.Business Response

On 12/12/22 we ordered an 3.8L engine from Accurate Engine for our 2010 Jeep. Accurate Engine took over a month to deliver the engine to Sieplinga Automotive who we hired to install the new engine. Sieplinga Automotive installed the engine and then immediately contacted us to inform us there was something wrong with the upper portion of the engine. ********* requested payment for the work they did and advised us to contact Accurate to inform them of the faulty engine. We paid ********* and then contacted Accurate to inform them the engine they sent had issues and was faulty. Accurate stated they would send someone out to inspect the engine. Several weeks went by before Accurate sent someone, the individual they sent agreed the engine was bad. They stated they would have the Jeep and engine taken to there place of business. Weeks went by and we had to keep calling them. They THEN stated they wanted our mechanic to remove the engine and they would pick it up. Our mechanic would only agree to this if he was being paid, they never discussed payment but our mechanic did remove the engine. It took weeks for them to pick the engine up and they were suppose to send out a replacement. They have not done that! It is now April 24, ********************************* December 2022. We have been trying for over 4 moths to get this taken care of. They keep making excuses. They now refuse to answer the phone and the mailbox is full so you cannot leave a message. There email address ******************************** also does not work. Our Jeep is still sitting at the mechanic's without an engine and he has been storing it for over 4 months! We are out the money for the engine, out the money for the install, and now without any engine.Initial Complaint

on August 10th 2021, I purchased a motor for a 2011 ram **** from Accurate Engines for a customer in the amount of $4,000. The first time receiving the engine it immediately leaked coolant from the head gasket. I called Accurate Engines and after many attempts was told to let it warm up and do some drive cycles and this should cause the gasket to seal properly. This was not the case, instead it continued to leak. On top of that it had a misfire on cylinder 6. I took it to a local automotive shop who spent hours trying to diagnose the issue and to ensure there was no issue with the install. They checked the fuel system, checked for any air leaks etc. all was found to be ok. They thought it was something internal or the **** I purchased a ECM from a local parts dealer and that did not solve the problem. After weeks of trying to get ahold of Accurate Engines I finally got ahold of someone and scheduled a warranty repair. In June of 2022 almost one year later they finally arranged for the engine to be picked up. I informed them of the misfire, the leaking cylinder head, and it also was leaking from rear main seal. The merchant sent the engine back in July claiming all had been fixed. I installed the engine once again, this time the cylinder head was not leaking but the engine still had the same misfire and was still leaking from rear main seal. I once again contacted the company and was told it may be the *********** will need to send the engine back. In November of 2022 they arranged for the engine to be picked up once again, after working on my engine for only one workday I get an email saying they shipped the engine back. Once received, I installed it to find out it is still not fixed. I have tried contacting the company and have received no response, the voicemail is full and there are countless reviews from customers going through the same agony as me. To get the customer their vehicle I am forced to rebuild the engine myself at my own cost.Business Response

Ordered and paid for a long block, fully remanufactured 5.7L engine and did not receive a complete engine. Parts missing and does not even pump oil/no oil pressure. Having to pay to have my engine removed and this "remanufactured" engine installed only to find it is not complete and does not work.Accurate Engines does not answer emails, text, phone calls to multiple numbers including the listed owner. No support and no communications. $3800 for something that does not work and they will not respond. My invoice number from Accurate Engines billed on Sept 19, 2022 is:#*****Business Response

Complaint: 18413221
I am rejecting this response because:As Accurate Engines indicated, they did not ship the right nor completed engine and required me to purchase parts that should have been supplied with the engine purchase. They only responded saying what we needed to purchase AFTER many vmails and texted which we have documented to our CC company.
We went ahead and purchased the parts they did not supply like they should have, and only then could the engine be installed.
IMMEDIATELY upon install the engine did not and would not show any oil pressure and after installing ADDITIONAL parts that could have been a part of that failure, the engine would not show/pump any oil.
As a result, I left multiple messages for Accurate Engines who failed to respond to any requests for info.
As a result of their failure to respond, and my continued loss of truck usage for over 2 plus months, I paid to have the engine removed (after having paid to have it installed in the first place), and again after multiple calls had their engine shipped back to them in December.
Finally, I have been required to purchase another engine for more money that has now been installed and started and worked immediately upon installation, without any issues.
We expect a full refund from Accurate Engines including the cost of shipping both ways and the core deposit. A total of $3884.
Thank you,
Sincerely,

To add to the previous response, this part we never supply because it can only be bought from the dealership. The part number is provided in the previous message. This is the only course of action we can take because this part is necessary for the completion of the engine.Customer Answer

Complaint: 18413221
I am rejecting this response because:Accurate Engines advertised complete engines and when questioned about the missing parts, said they could send them to us or we could buy them ourselves. They even called and put a parts person on the phone who gave the part number but said they didn't have any right then so we decided that the only way to move forward was to buy the parts ourselves, at our own added expense.
We did so, but ultimately the engine would not pump oil and after attempting, again, to get a response from Accurate, leaving numerous voice mails and text, without any response, we had to pull the engine and send it back to them for a complete refund.....which they have yet to acknowledge even though it was returned last month.

Purchased a reman 5.7L Hemi , including installation, for $4,584.52 on 7/2/2021. Engine began using 1 quart of oil / week after 30 days. November 8th 2021 I submitted a warranty claim online. No response. Truck engine is now using 2 quarts of oil/week and spews white smoke after starting. December 12th 2021 E mailed *** in sales regarding this issue. No response.5/23/2022 E mailed ***** to try and get this resolved. No response. I can go on and on with this same pattern that I have went through. I have every interaction documented in a Word Doc. since purchasing this engine. Dropped my truck off 3 times, only to be told they did not have the time to look at it. I own one vehicle and have to get rides every time I drop it off. The last time I dropped off the truck for repair was 10/4/2022. I picked up the truck on 10/6 after they called and said it was done. After looking at the paperwork they gave me, looks like they only changed the oil. No description that anything was done. Drove truck for one week and still using 2 quarts of oil / week. In addition to that, spews white smoke when starting. I have reached out to Accurate numerous times to get this resolved in the past year and as I keep telling them, I have been very patient.Business Response

I ordered an engine from Accurate Automotive Engines on June 17th 2022. After spending $5,000 + dollars was told the engine would be completed and ready for shipping in 2-2.5 weeks from payment, after 1 month of radio silence, I called and emailed numerous times. I called and emailed *** who took a week to respond after he had my money, He replied with a wide email to get me a response. After 3 days I got a response that it should be done next week and will ship on Thursday July 14th. I called the production Manager ***** who told me it wont get shipped out to the following week July 21st. I called on the 21st He told me it shipped but the office girls were out of the office today to get a tracking number. After three weeks I called back 9th of August and he quickly told me the shipper has lost the motor. He can finish one by the end of last week August 12th and will ship it this week. When I called today August 16th, 2 months after paying for an engine I called ***** again who was completely rude on the phone when I asked for a status. I told him my customer needs this motor, He replied you tell me that every time! I'm just going to cancel it. End of conversation full stop.......Business Response
