      Completely unreliable power. Doesn't care about their smaller customer base. Same triangle shaped outage on the outage map goes out a dozen times a year on M-******************************.

      It's pure discrimination You have to pay $2.99 if you only have a gov *******Express debit card. Consumer's electric is robbing poor folks.

      Consumers Energy keeps finding ways to rip off there customers now there charging a $ **** fee for using your credit card absolutely ridiculous they been ripping there customers off for years and there's nothing we can do about it because there to big of a company so that allows them to do anything they want in the public eyes they all ways trying to say there helping people save money there only helping them selves make money

      For ten years consumers has been charging us a commercial rate instead of residential rate. When this came to my attention they so generously said they would go back 3 years and adjust my account. Three years for a mistake THEY made TEN years ago?! I've tried calling them several times only to wait on the line 45 minutes and then when they finally answer and try to switch me to a billing specialist I get disconnected. Finally got to talk to someone today who tells me they are doing me a favor by not going back ten years. I highly doubt it, they are just too lazy to do it. I've heard from others that Consumers has a very heartless attitude and now I know it is true. If you can at all avoid it do not sign up with Consumers under any circumstance. Star rating should be a zero.

      Consumers is now charging a $2.99 service fee on top of your bill if you use any kind of card to make your payment. I have been using the same bank card which draws money from my checking account for 10 years. This is a pure money grab, these utilities are so full of it. All energy companies are posting record profits and its never enough for these greedy POS monopolies.

      Very disappointed with Consumers energy. I have been in the application process for interconnection of a solar array that I built for 105 days now. They say they will respond within 5 business days to my submissions of information and then take two weeks. Then when they do respond finally it is to inform me that I need to make changes again and again and again to my array/paperwork/etc. Why cant they tell me all of the changes in one time so I can get my solar functioning sooner? *** spent a lot of money to put this array up and now they are just wasting my time and money by not allowing me to connect it. Not to mention now that I have everything built they let me know that the disconnect I used isnt acceptable for them. So now I have to replace it with a different style and I cant return my current one because it has been used.These are all little things and not that big of a deal but they add up. Have been trying to get approved for 105 days and cant get an approval yet but of course my bill keeps right on coming and increasing. Really wish I could switch to a different electric company that actually works with their customers but of course consumers has a monopoly on the area Im in by being the only provider.

      Signed up for auto pay, and they never pull the payment. Called and the customer service rep was rude, and told me if I want it paid, is have to go online and just pay it. No assistance on correcting their issue of auto pay not working.

      ridiculous that i am REQUIRED to change my auto pay starting in Oct and i cannot accomplish this task until sometime after 7pm today, 10/01. unbelievable
