    *********************** provided very professional service and helped correct an error in a previous call dealing with our 800#. She sent me the form to complete so the problem could be fixed. My rating is for the call I just completed with **** and not the calls previously where my issues haven't been resolved.Hopefully my two problems will be fixed very quickly. When the phones aren't working properly then we're not receiving calls from customers who want to place orders or let us know about concerns they have. These problems seem to arisen when we signed on with Clear Rate. If they're not resolved very soon I'll need to call Century Link back so things can go back to the way they were.

    Worst company to deal with! My senior parents have had nothing but problems with this company. The company does not cash their received payments in a timely manner and then charges late fees even when the payments were electronically sent. It is less than a 50% chance they call back after waiting to put in a complaint about the service. The landline service was out for more than twenty days in the month of December and they stated it would not be in service until 12th of January, which it still wasn't fixed until days after that deadline. They knew about the issue prior to being called by my parents from other customers but were still charging people for the service and late fees. It goes out every time it rains. Every time they say it will take an additional 10 days to fix. The line has constant static. ***************** in general, is useless. If you want to talk to a supervisor, they tell you there isn't one there or transfers you to a supervisor that does not answer, goes to a machine, and the line disconnects. Do not use this service.

    Dear *******************, Thank you for taking time to review our company. In regards to cashing checks. We cash checks the same day we receive them, whether they are electronic or mailed. If you are making payments via bank bill pay, it is possible that they are mailing those payments, even though you are making them via bank bill pay. You would want to check with your bank to find out for sure. I was unable to find an account for your parents with the information you provided. It sounds as if there was a group outage in their area but without being able to pull up the account, that is mere speculation. We do provide credits for time without service.     It's been a month without service after signing up. I cancelled the service and want nothing to do with company going forward. They are over loading the service department with sales at price of customer service.

    This is by far the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. They have two people that you can only talk to to try to get your old service back. They threaten you with crazy disconnect fees and try to hold you to a contract that you have never even seen. I am still trying to switch back with absolutely no luck at all. They did not beat Verizon’s pricing but still I am getting the run around. I wish I could have given them no stars at all. Do not do business with these people.

    I want to praise one of your employees by the name of *******. I dealt with another employee at length a few days ago who couldn’t solve my problem and said he would have his supervisor call me. That did not happen. I called again today and talked to *******. She fully understood my dilemma and we worked it out. She was so kind, a good listener and knew what to do to accomplish the task. I have read some of the reviews regarding your company. You need more ******** for sure!!!!!

    Received a phone call stating that Clear Rate could give us the same service that we had for our land line and internet for a lower cost. I agreed to this and someone came out to our house a couple of days later and switched the internet. The internet seems to be working fine, but we received a box we had to hook up. The box will not stop blinking since it was hooked up. We started our service on October 31st. About a month later, our century link land line was disconnected. Since the time that Century Link was disconnected we have not had phone service. We can not receive calls or dial out. I have repeatedly called Clear Rate to request they fix this. Who ever I talk to says that someone will call me back, but no one ever does. I have an e mail from the company dated December 27th that they have a ticket with a request to repair this. To this date, January 11th, this issue has not been resolved. No one calls me back on my cell phone number, or sends another e mail with information about this issue. I have received a bill, which so far is just for the internet. The phone is considered a promotional 1 month free. I will pay the internet portion, but it is not ethical to charge me only next bill for a service I am not receiving. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with Clear Rate and I want the land line to work, or I will need to end my service.

    This non-legitimate criminal activity posing as a "business" has spam-called my home every day for the past several weeks, even though I am on the national DO NOT CALL registry and told them that each time before hanging up. I am not required, by law, to call them to get put on some kind of in-house company do not call list and wait another "1 to 3 business days" for it to take effect. I am already on the national list and they are openly violating it, like crooks. Totally unethical. I am in ill health and they have woken me up multiple times.

However, adding yourself to our internal DNC list will ensure that our sales team will not call you.     This Business is the worst of the worst ever........ I've had some bad business relationships, however if I would give a rating of this business I can certainly give it a big fat ***** The only reason I gave one star is because that's the only way to write a review. If you are a person who is seeking telephone service take it from me you don't want to do business with this company....

    All I can say is WOW....WOW...WOW. SHAME ON ME for not doing my homework FIRST. You know that OLD Saying...."IF IT'S TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT USUALLY IS." I haven't been with this company for a week and I HATE IT! I was totally misled from the BEGINNING, AS I can see that now. Shame on me, I KNOW BETTER! Was quoted one rate and I get my FIRST BILL and it's not AT ALL WHAT WAS PRESENTED. I was told when i received the call from them that I was on a pre-recorded line, so if that's the case they should go back and LISTEN TO IT, and they will know that I was mislead and should be able to get my FRONTIER service back. But no, they want to charge me all these fee's when they are the one that mislead me. JUST LISTEN TO THE ****RECORED PHONE CALL. This place is a JOKE and I'm certain that I will be reprimanded, wrote up, or something for making this switch. Just what I need as a single parent! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Please give me my Frontier back.

    As of today, I've left 4 phone messages for someone to return my phone call. One of those times, I was asked to hold and they would get someone on the line to help me. I waited 22 minutes only to be told that there are only two people that could help me with my issue and one of them was miraculously unavailable all of the sudden and the other one was conveniently in a meeting. Mind you, I was told to HOLD because someone was going to HELP ME! I've had countless emails go without a response. So basically, the customer CAN'T get through to anyone by any means. This place needs to be shut down for MISLEADING INNOCENT PEOPLE! Shame on ALL of you!

    This company is impossible to deal with. They called & spoke to my father who has dementia and took our phone service from our current provider. They sent us an enormous phone bill and we realized what had happened and when we tried to switch back, Clear Rate closed our account and put a BLOCK on our number so our prior phone company would be unable to port the number back. When I call Clear Rate they simply say our account has been closed and won't help with unblocking the number. I want the number UNBLOCKED so we can get our line back. With an elderly father, we need to have access to a working phone and it has been 4 months that the phone hasn't worked properly.

Clear Rate Communications can not release a customers number to another provider until they submit that request. We did not receive that request until 11/16/2022. Also, please know that Clear Rate is in know way trying to mislead our customers. We are here to provide a wonderful service at cheaper price. From reading your review you have stated that the service has not worked in 4 months. Since service was provided in August 2022, I am not showing that any one has contacted us regarding service not working. We would be more than happy assisting you in making sure all your fathers needs for telephone service are being handled, so please contact us at ************** for further assistants.

    I contacted clear rate in August to have the account transferred back to ******* but ******* could not port because they could see a block on the number. I was unaware of this until 2 weeks ago. When I call clear rate to discuss the phone I am told the account is closed & no one will discuss the problem. When I called again on Monday, a rep actually hung up on me and wouldn't even let me tell her my problem. I paid whatever balance was due, per the 3rd rep I finally talked to & she said the block would be removed, but so far the block is still on the number. I need the block removed **** as my father needs a phone due to his age.

    UPDATE to prior post: On Nov 28, I called Clear Rate AGAIN (see prior comment) and discovered an overdue balance which we were not told about previously, so I paid everything that was owed to have the line reinstated so we could have the number ported out to ******** I placed an ORDER to have the line reinstated. They told me 3 to 10 days to have the line working. Every day we called, someone said "tomorrow" it will be fixed. I called on day 10 and nothing was fixed. I called again today, December 15, 2022, 13 days later, and asked why the line was still disconnected. A lady told me NO ORDER had been placed to reinstate the line and to do so would take another 2 weeks. She said on Nov 16, the line was officially ported out and gave me a conf # and said that as of Dec 9, ******* was now our phone provider. And there was another balance of $157 to pay!!! (and the phone hasn't worked in over a month) I called ******* today and they stated NO, Clear Rate had completely shut the line off, so the port could NOT be completed by ******** The line needed to be reinstated, which I explained to Clear Rate, but they refused to place an order to do so. So rather than fight with a SPAM company, I simply had ******* give us a whole new phone number. You can't deal with this company at all!!!!
