We purchased 2 power recliners with heat, massage and a swivel base (Lennon model). Within a month, one started creaking like an old door in a 100 year old house while lifting the footrest. It was sent out for service and returned. Within a day of the service, the creaking returned and the frame itself started seizing and popping out of place while the footrest raised or lowered. It got so bad that I climbed out of the chair before it was fully lowered because I was afraid I was going to end up on the floor. While I continued lowering the footrest with the controller, the frame seemed to tighten up on itself and then it released with a loud "BANG" and shot backwards about 2 inches! It was so loud that it woke my wife who was sleeping upstairs!A replacement arrived with EXTREMELY wrinkly leather. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I wouldn't have purchased anything that looked so bad from the showroom floor. The original delivery of our recliners was postponed by 3 months due to the charcoal colored leather being on backorder due to "quality issues that made it look especially wrinkly." It seems the problem continues.Nearing a year from originally receiving these recliners and the second recliner has begun to creak while lifting the footrest. The recliner warranty ends after 1 year, despite them making it seem like they have a "lifetime warranty." SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED in the quality of the product and the lack of perceived support from the manufacturer. My retailer is doing their best to help me. But when they aren't receiving proper support from the manufacturer themselves, then how am I, as a consumer, supposed to get anywhere with them? I will be looking at other brands when I need to purchase any other furniture in the future. La-Z-Boy is definitely not the company that I would expect them to be. These recliners cost much more, and the fact that we're having problems with 3 out of 3 units makes me think there is something severely wrong with their design, build, and quality.

We purchased a sectional Trouper couch and swivel chair. Both arrived many weeks later damaged or in need of repair. After several attempts and many hours of conversation between the store manager (no longer with the company) and customer care four of the couch pieces were reordered only to have arrived damaged. In addition to this we still have the issue of having two pieces of the new version of the sectional and 4 of the old version. None of these pieces align correctly. Moreover the delivery company they use are unprofessional and in a hurry to drop the furniture and leave. We have spent countless hours and still have no resolution.

I purchased 2 recliners in 2018. By 2020 the color started flaking off. It took 6 month for replacement of both armrests on 1 chair. Now in 2024 both chairs have the color flaking off. The chair that had the armrests replaced are flaking between the back cushion and armrests, between the padding and hard part of back, on the edge of both foot rests, and between where the foot rest and chair meet. The second chair is flaking on the front of the arm rests. They are in unacceptable condition for such a reputable business.

A nightmare in the works! We ordered furniture January 2024 and were told 8-10 weeks delivery wait. The week of March 22nd received phone call to schedule delivery for week of 3/29. We were not going to be home that week due to family emergency out of state. I was told my furniture had to go to *****??? To hold furniture I would have to pay a fee or pay the final payment of furniture. I paid final payment but was not told anything else accept to call store when we returned. Called today (4/6/2024) to be told they cannot help me schedule my furniture delivery because in a few hours they will not be a franchise store any longer but corporate. They have had my money since January, second part since March and they cannot help me??? Nor did they tell me anything about this change two weeks ago. I would like my furniture!!!! This is not how you handle customers, corporate or franchise. Expected so much more from this brand but a complete disappointment to deal with!!!!

I ordered a custom sectional, blue grey leather and a pinnacle recliner. All with lumbar and head tilt and reclining. I received the items just short of 3 months after ordering. The pinnacle chair when it arrived was a completely different color than the sectional so they reordered it and told me it would be two months before I received, which I still dont have. The back of the sectional was subpar as the leather wasnt cut properly and puckered really bad, which wouldnt have mattered, except the furniture isnt against a wall. I took pictures the day of the arrival of the items (2/22/2024) and Ive yet to receive a call back from customer service. Ive called the sales rep twice and I was told that the customer service department was really busy. I recommend not buying furniture from Lazy Boy. Their upfront service is excellent, but once delivered, if its not right, youre out of luck. Purchase was from the ****** store in **.

Was not properly informed of having to go through a third party for cleaning upon spending 7500k at La-Z-boy in **********, **.***** in ******** had to instruct me. Secondly, Store manager needs to work on being more effective in training his employees. Finally, which is the biggest part of my complaint- purchased an ottoman and upon arrival it was/is severely damaged. Waited (ON HOLD) for 3 hours to reach ***** in MI to only learn the store manager DID NOT SEND PICS OF DAMAGED PAXTION SECTIONAL. But, rather, *********************** GM of La-Z-boy in **********, **. Did NOT tell me upon PURCHASING NEAR 8K IN FURNITURE, there was only a 3 day return window on anything. ******* CFO has fallen short in ensuring proper training and selection of employees

We ordered a glider recliner. The product was delivered after the 8 week production time with a nonfunctional base due to metal parts being bent. The handle to recline the back of the chair was also scratched and dented. Apparently there is no inspection prior to sending customers their finished product because this would be been caught if so. We notified ******** of the broken product and they made us schedule a "virtual inspection" with a third party person. This inspection wasn't done until a week after delivery. Now they are supposedly sending us new parts and we have to then schedule a technician to come out and fix the chair once the parts arrive. We called ******** to discuss what happened and they never returned our phone call. Very poor customer service especially since we spent a lot of money on this broken product. This has been an awful experience and we will not buy a product from them again.

The quality of ******** from years past is long gone. I have had my 2 recliners and 1 couch- all custom ordered leather ($7,000) 1 year ago. I have had the repair man out 3 times. Now the leg recliner does not go up and it is out of warranty. Worst product!Worst customer service!Do not do business with this manufacturer. You will be very disappointed and out a lot of money!

Liam ********* I do not like this recliner. This chair does not sit like the one in the showroom. It leans me forward. I even went to the store after delivery and made sure of what I ordered. I have made several phone calls to get resolution to this problem. Comfort Care was out once and changed the position of the legs, but still not correct. The guy said that was all he could do. My last discussion with the sales person ended up with her telling me that, "It's only common sense that the chair would feel different since many people have sat in the ones in the store." That accusation did not sit right with me and I expressed my feelings to her. My question--Why have a showroom? The chair is not the correct width. There is a little piece of wood missing on the leg. I don't know if it is the upholstery or the measurements of the chair--which do not match the measurements on the website. The chair leans forward when sitting in it. It does NOT sit like the chair in the show room. I do not lack common sense as implied by salesperson. This chair needs to be fixed appropriately or returned. I do not feel we should incur any additional expense to have an unusable piece of furniture fixed or replaced. This chair was not made properly and the wood on legs is damaged. Their response:...... from a repair standpoint, there is nothing we can do to resolve your concerns. As the store had stated, the units on our stores showroom floor have experienced heavy use and have had time to break in. Your furniture was manufactured with new cushions. Over time and with use, the padding on your furniture will break in as well. We cannot guarantee comfort since that is a subjective experience; what is comfortable to one person may be uncomfortable for another. If you are having any additional concerns, please advise.Kindest regards,(Names removed)
