      So I went into la-z-boy in November to get a new recliner. Of course, they had to order it because they do not have them in stock - This - it is considered a custom order. I did not order anything ugly or outlandish. I order a standard chair, the James model, with a normal leather (I saw the same leather throughout the store), and with massage, and heat. Nothing special but a beautiful chair that could easily be sold to someone in the general public. Well, I went to pick it up today and when I see it, I realize that it is much too small of a chair for me. I decided not to take it and go back to talk to the sales associate, *****. She showed me a few more models which I fully intended on getting one but towards the end, she tells me, "well, there is a 30% restocking fee. I was shocked. After talking for awhile, she said, let me see if I can get that reduced for you. She comes back and tells me that they will reduce it to 15% IF I buy something new. I was like WHAT??? So you want me to pay about $300 to NOT take the chair and still spend more money with you? Forget it. I told her I would take the original chair but never do business with La-Z-Boy again. And I won't. BUYER BEWARE. Any chair you buy is going to have to be made since they don't carry them in stock and even if you want to buy something else, they will stick it to you. Unfortunately, I am stuck with this chair and each time I sit in it, it will remind me of how evil La-Z-Boy is. Goodbye La-Z-Boy, You lost ANOTHER customer for life.

      I have a James Silver recliner I purchased over a year ago. The chair had some operational issues; however all the issues were straightened out. I was without the use of the chair for over a month. I had back surgery over a year ago and to this day I cannot get used to the memory foam seat padding. It is extremely uncomfortable to sit on. What can be done to change the padding for a chair I paid over $3,000 for. ******* ********* , Berlin NJ

      WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, IMPOSSIBLE TOI REACH STORE, EMPLOYEES DON'T RETURN CALLS, AFTER 15 MONTHS A $2500 CHAIR BROKE AND THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE REPAIR SERVICES EVEN THOUGH I OFFERED TO PAY.
      THIS STORE IS JUNK AND I RECOMMEND ANY RECLINER OTHER THAN A LA-Z-BOY. THEY HAVE LONG OUTLIVED THEIR ONCE-GOOD REPUTATION. BOTH STORE AND PRODUCT ARE GARBAGE.

      I purchased a recliner from La-Z-Boy company online several months ago. I have purchased at least 6 recliners in the past with no issues. When I received it was defective. It squeaked, the seat had a crunchy sound when you sat on it, the seat was hard as a rock, and the material was horrible. I tried talking to customer service and they said give it time to break it in. I did that and no change. I requested a refund but the manager said it's been in my house too long so no refund and I get a defective chair. I had to order another type of recliner from them (I've had this certain one before). So I am out $2000.00 for a chair I can't use plus I had to another $2000.00 for a different chair. It was finally delivered yesterday and it's perfect. They did send a tech to look at chair and he also said it was defective. He did order a new seat for it but that didn't solve anything. I am no longer recommending La-Z-Boy to anyone. Go elsewhere. Customer Service is horrible. They don't care about the quality of products they sell anymore nor do they care about their customers. Such a shame. They used to be a quality furniture store. Buyer Beware!!

      purchased 2 rowan rocking recliners from la z boy on 9/1/2022 1 was delivered in good condition
      the other had the cord in the piping protruding, called customer service could not get through,
      after several days and attempts I called the store and they got through to Comfort Care and finally a day for the technician was arranged, we are now at 11/5/22. The technician found the seat had to be replaced but in order to do this he had to send an order request to Comfort Care
      which he did the same day and said Comfort Care would call 3 business days to pick up the chair. This never happened and again left to me to contact them. Tried over and over again without success so back to the store and within 10 minutes got a call from Comfort Care telling me it was normal wear and tear. Went back to the store and spoke with Dave the manager which was absolutely no help. The order sent to Comfort Care stated exactly what Tri County said. The seat had to be repaired and not wear and tear. They got their money now the consumer has to deal with all this run around. I am now 2months trying to resolve this issue. Please help
      he chair house to evaluate and found the seat cushion had to be replaced. in order to get this far I had to go through comfort care, comfort care than issues an order to Tri County to send a technician
      Tri County then has to send the findings (which they did the same day 11/5/22) to Comfort Care
      After several days and attempts to reach Comfort Care without success, called the store again and within 10 minutes Comfort Care called me

      Customer service has been horrible to deal with- purchased leather sofa and loveseat for $6500–defective parts and leather and stuffing —company trying to piece it all out instead of just replacing the products! Very dissatisfied!

      Took longer than told, recommended fabric for use with cats is the worst, has excess fabric in some areas and missing fabric in other areas, the more the chair is used the more the fabric stretches, told sales person the board on the front would be perfect if is was a charcoal color and it arrived with brown (the fabric is gray), arrived with ridges on top of the arms and they are getting larger, was told on the phone the reason it has ridges is that we are using the chair incorrectly and misusing it, the chair is not supposed to rock but leans forward when sitting or getting up, if we were told something would take a week then that really meant two weeks or more and the list goes on and on, in our opinion, La-Z-Boy does not have quality products and even worse customer service, our recommendation and opinion is, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

      The store, sales associates, and store manager-********************* were pleasant when I placed my order. After that, it went downhill. I was originally told by *********************** that I would receive updates regarding my furniture with weekly updates with no prompts from me. I thought I was in furniture heaven. Ha, of course, I never received a phone call, text, or email regarding my delivery. In addition, after calling the store several times, I received different information regarding the arrival of my furniture. I asked to speak to the store manager and was assured that I would receive a phone call. Nope. So I can go on and on, but the store has poorly trained, incompetent sales associates. ************** lied to me and my wife so that he could get a sale. He is an unprofessional scoundrel. Absolutely no credibility, no professionalism. Don't buy anything from this company and run away if you see **************.
