      Flagstar took over my loan from another bank and has been in absolute chaos ever since. They told me my payment hasn't been received but it was taken out of my bank and when I log onto their website it says that I only owe a late fee, while a statement says I owe something 3 months of mortgage payments. When I called the number listed on my statement, it directed me to some "free" gift for being a customer, and I couldn't reach an actual bank employee. It's impossible to get through to anybody in person. I was able to reach somebody through chat who was absolutely useless. If I didn't read otherwise, I would assume this business is a major scam. What a nightmare.

      I have called multiple times in a month and each time there hasn't been a resolution until I had to figure out what was going on with my property taxes and getting double charged on my home owners insurance as well. I've showed them proof multiple times as well, spoke to the county of ************** and they were in agreement with what I was asking. This last call after about 5 different times really pushed me over to write this. Everyone is stuck on one thing and when I was asked to be sent to a manager come to find out there is no manager its only a management team but no one is actually a manager according to *******. She also stated it doesn't matter who we call noone is going to help. Terrible service terrible servicing company. I'm a licensed loan officer and I do this every single day and customer service is our highest priority and we work for our clients. Flagstar is completely the opposite as a servicing company. They messed up on an escrow analysis and won't own up to their mistake and putting it on the customer and stating there's nothing they will do.

      1) waited for 2 hours and 2 operators to validate a new online account; the system would either display a message about some "hiccup issue" or it would just not acknowledge the validation code sent 2) the site is ill equipped; eventually, with the help of the second representative, 2 hours wait, we barely were able to squeeze using ********* Edge; Firefox or Chrome did not work 3) the site does not have a tool to calculate the interest to be paid with the next payment; you might as well go on the internet and get the same numbers; this is not good enough when payments made cover extra principal

      Absolutely terrible. I am a Contractor repairing a homeowner's house through an insurance claim. It took roughly 10 months for Flagstar to release part of what insurance paid (less than 25% of the overall claim). They said they will inspect throughout the construction process (they did not) and complete a final inspection once complete to release the rest of the funds. We have almost been done for 90 days and no such inspection has even taken place. Its been "scheduled" 4 times now. 3 of the times have been canceled prior to inspection taking place. The other time, they inspected the wrong building and tried to tell us and the homeowner that 0% of the work had been completed. Do not work with this company if you can avoid it! It has been over a year since the loss occurred and we still have only received less than 25% of what insurance actually paid. I have a log sheet showing when calls were made. I also have recorded phone calls with Flagstar detailing the process and in most cases them admitting its their fault, but there is nothing that can be done.

      They have the worst customer service and also the online application and website are the worst. It's unstable to make payments and to contact them. I really wish I could change this lender. They own my mortgage now.

      Flagstar bank / Lakeview should not be allowed to service loans, they dont seem to have the capabilities to do so. Primarily, they continue failing to process payments from my bank account. When I schedule payments they **** in Flagstar as "posted" do not draft from my account. I have confirmed routing and account number; a ******************** rep was able to manually pull the payment in the past, yet scheduled payments dont work and they had to cancel my recurring payment to do so. This all now has resulted in a $20 late payment fee to Flagstar. I am now unable to find any support contact information on their website. They have also failed to contact me via phone or email on the matter, I just have to keep checking and have received letters a week or more after the fact. I have had no problems with RocketMortgage, my previous loan servicer. As a result of Flagstar's terrible systems and support I'm now paying additional fees, wasting huge amounts of time and possibly damaging my credit.

      ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I had a house fire and spent 99% of the time waiting on Flagstar to get their act together and send the insurance money back after they had EVERYTHING they needed from myself, the insurance, and the contractor. Now that I am back in the home and have a forclosure date, they want to act like there is no timeline on anything. I have called 5 times in the last week to try and get them to send information over to the state assistance program (since they have me approved, but need information from flagstar) and have been told each time that they do not see any information and that I cannot talk to anyone in the *** department. Also, reached out to the attorney 2 times in the last week and they still have not heard back from Flagstar. Some of ** are TRYING our best to work things out, and Flagstar makes it nearly impossible. I would much rather pay a much higher interest rate than deal with this company.

      This is a travesty. The website for this horrible organization changed and and switched my bi-weekly payment to a monthly payment. The agent on the phone said that I had to cancel my monthly payment and re-do my bi-monthly payment. This put my bi-monthly payment date to every other Wednesday from every other Friday, when I GET PAID. Then they try to tell me it's my fault. This is UNBELIEVABLE!

      My dealings with Flagstar Agents Has been very poor as someone mentioned my loan was sold to ************** All of the representatives are not very customer focused some were better than others. its seems I'm always wrong no matter what! since January 2023 I have received letters saying I don't have enough flood ****************************** gave Flagstar the management rights to collect and review all accounts My feelings or answers or never considered their always correct. Even after proof has been given. Now every time I call them I can't speak to the same person.. I'm told if its escrow or insurance ***** I get the answer and when I mention who I spoke to in that department ** told they don't know them and can't talk to them. After I told them and provided them with the Info.. that since they admitted they were wrong. the person I was spoke to verbally Apologized.. I asked for a Written apology. Have not received yet However the BBB informed me of the *********** was in *************. So maybe try call a Flagstar branch there and I selected to talk to to a cooperate office Where I was treated with with no judgement ,very much like a customer there, who agreed to look into everything. I do have saved documentation. for all the request and responses. this person was very pleasant. and sympathetic to what has been happening. As professiona as I was treated I'm feeling this person will get things straight. It's a shame to have to go this far up to speak to someone who was concerned about my my issues and promised to call back. Very refreshing fromr my previous dealings. Now it does seem I get 2 bills every month from Lakeview and 1 from Flagstar who sub services Lakeview.

      DO NOT USE THIS BANK FOR MORTGAGES. I have been trying to resolve a mortgage escrow issue for 4 months. Many phone calls has only resulted in my wasted time while representatives and even escalated managers keep repeating the same reasons without fixing the underlying issue. My $3600/Yr Tax line in their system has been adjusted to $56/Yr. My escrow payment is now $5/mth...way too low.
