Where do I even begin.I started reading other peoples problems on here and i realized their similar to my own. First I opened an account, and in the 35-**** disclosure it said I needed a certain amount of money to get the advertised rate. I didnt have it, and i didnt read the entire disclosure, so I had a 0.1% intrest rate. I then go to the branch to see if i can switch the account to a regular high-yield savings, they say "management does not want us to touch these promotional accounts," and that was that. I had trasnfered 8000 dollars into the account upon me opening it. They pulled the 8000 dollars twice from my bank, and i was overdrafted *********************************************************************************************************** addition to that, i descover 5 days later (when the funds appeared) that flagstar has a 9 business day new account hold on its customers. 11 days later, I was so dissapointed I wanted to find another bank. This was after multimple support calls and multiple interactions with their staff. Overall very negative. *** up with the delays, I try to transfer the money out to my main bank account and what do you know??? That has been placed on hold until i talk to customer service. I call, they say their offices are closed on the weekends and now im stuck. The best part? Once i get the ability to transfer back, ill still have to wait 5 business days for the transfer to appear in my main bank account. In addition, the website is slow and does not function, direct linking using Plaid between accounts never works, no matter the account, the android app is the worst i have ever seen. AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS unless you are an extremely patient person. I wasted a month of my life just dealing with this c*** and I will never be using flagstar again.Flagstar Bank

You denied my escrow waiver in January 24. Today you call me and state you " incorrectly denied" it as a "High Priced loan with interest at 1.5% above APR." AND charge me ***** of MY MONEY ON BALANCE OF THE LOAN TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND ESCROW IT MYSELF! I'LL BE REFINANCING AS SOON AS INTEREST RATES LOWER ! YOU LOST MY BUSINESS!Flagstar Bank

Flagstar Bank is abhorrent.I purchased 2019 and my mortgage was sold to Lakeview with Flagstar as subservicer in 2020. I enrolled in bi-weekly auto payments.In May 2024, I get a notice from Flagstar to re-certify my bi-monthly autopayments. I immediately jump through all the hoops. I asked them if I really needed to pay one month ahead since Im already one month ahead. They told me I did not.In June 2024, I get a letter my auto-payments are cancelled. I call and am told that the letter is a mistake. In late July 2024, I get an invoice saying I did not pay July. I call (7/23), they said that since I did not make an extra payment that they never pulled Julys payments and cancelled my auto-payment program. They say that if I want to go back on, I needed to pay July and August immediately. I do. I ask when my auto payments restart. They tell me the second Friday in August. I call back the next day to confirm and they tell me that a Service Ticket has been opened to determine when my program starts again. They say that the day before I asked for a different date than the second Friday in August. I did not. They put me on hold then tell me that the payments will start on the second Friday of August. I ask them to confirm this, they do so verbally.I call on August 12th to find out why no payment was taken on the second Friday. They tell me that ************ decided on 7/31 that I was too late in getting the August payment in and they need from me a written statement before the second Friday to start the program for me. They told me that they do not have to notify me of any of this and that they chose not to notify me. If I want to get back on auto payments, I would have to pay September right now and still put in a written statement.Thats 3 months of payments in 4 weeks. I chose to no longer do the auto-payment program.Flagstar Bank is staffed with liars and harassers.Flagstar Bank

I just opened a mma Some how the *** transfer of ********* was put in twice.I called my bank to put a stop payment on it .I contacted them about the error and was told not to worry, well my account was overdrawn by ******** and now I was in a bind because I had other bills coming due .Then I get a e mail stating my external transfers would be halted because of the insufficient funds.Then I told him I wanted to close the account and they told me they would be a $30 charge if I closed it before 6 months where is this disclosure I didn't read anything about this I can't wait to be done with them absolute horror show!Flagstar Bank

I wish I could give them no stars.Where to begin?The branch manager ******? Terrible. Cannot do her job. Im surprised she can read and write. Last time I was in there was the last straw. Talking about peoples appearances, sexualizing her male employee, and then to top it all over ranting about politics. I just want my money and to leave. Taking my money elsewhere.Flagstar Bank

My husband and I hold a mortgage with Flagstar after our original mortgage was bought out. To say we are dissatisfied with this change that we never asked for is an understatement. Along with other instances that have left us dissatisfied, this last mishap has us fuming every time we have gotten off the phone with yet another agent with empty promises. Long story short, an extra payment for property taxes was made directly to the county we reside in, in addition to the payments that come out of our escrow. When this occurred, the county assured that this payment would be returned to Flagstar after receiving the full amount due directly from them. Well, this was finalized over 2 months ago and we have yet to have that money returned to us. Instead, every time we call Flagstar to check on the status of this, it's as though we have never brought it up before and then they say don't even know where this money is. This is of course very concerning to hear and yes the agents promise they will prioritize this issue and get to the bottom of it yet every call is starting from square one. We are tired of the insufficiency of this company to listen to and help with customer concerns and I would caution anyone who tries to get a mortgage here. Just know you will have to deal with inadequate customer service and instead a company who values it's own financial gain over integrity. We will surely be looking to get out ourselves as soon as the opportunity presents itself.Flagstar Bank

Have a mortgage with flagstar , never missed a payment. I am enrolled in auto pay , while I was traveling for a family emergency out of the country my payment for the month of **** was returned. I did not know it was returned until I got back and received a call in early July, I answered the call and immediately remade the payment. Was the first time I was aware of the issue. Flagstar reported a delinquency on my credit and caused my credit to drop almost 200 points. Because of the reporting it is causing my financial hardship with my small business.Flagstar Bank

As a first time home owner with my sons's father I am very upset with Flagstar. Not only did I have to sign off on my inheritance to get the down payment for the house, but they refused to allow me to be put on anything. Instead they forced me to sign my money over to my sons's father and then proceeded to only put his name on everything. I now have no family to fall back on if things don't work and will be homeless with no money or assets. This company basically said s**** me and my daughter, who's father is deceased. So my 25k that I had to sign over is now in their pocket and I am left with the possibility of being evicted from a house that I also paid 11k cash to put a new roof on. If I could report them as a scam company I would.Flagstar Bank
