      They are doing maintenance this Presidents weekend and promised that ATMS were going to stay up and running for use. YOU CANNOT WITHDRAWL ANY OF YOUR MONEY AND YOU CANNOT MAKE PURCHASES WITH YOUR DEBIT CARD EITHER. This is suppose to last until Tuesday? IT IS RIDICULOUS. They should have planned this better. What a shame!

      I constantly have issues with your bank and your website. Whenever I call no one can ever resolve the issue. The payment amounts are never correct or explained properly. I've hated every second of dealing with this bank and your customer service. Every month there is a new issue and I spend more time trying to resolve issues with your bank than it's worth. I wish I could dissolve our partnership and go to another lender. Worst experience of my life.

      I don't get to eat this week. My phone bill will also cost me an overdraft fee. Why? Flagstar decided to add a prepay for the next month box. There was no warning or notification. Therefore I made 2 payments and now can't afford groceries. This is despicable and unacceptable. Frankly not notifying us should be illegal. Peanut butter sandwiches for 4 days then I'm out of bread. Thanks flagstar. They didn't even care when I called

      Had the misfortune of having my loan transferred from Optimum Mortgage recently. Was told by an agent from Flagstar prior to processing that escrow would be disbanded per request with no fee. They didn't honor this, and then when I called to speak to a supervisor, they gave no recourse.

      Frustrating and we're not done yet! They are the third servicer of my mortgage, not my choice of coarse. I am ready for a full payoff. I tried to check the payoff balance online - they can't show it to me! 5 days processing for the payoff amount, 30$ for online option, 30$ for phone option, free for mail. I chose mail, received the letter with the payoff amount 3 days AFTER it wasn't valid anymore. I said fine they will deduct the rest from the escrow or I'll make a small payment after they process the amount in the letter. I wired the this amount according to their instructions, payed additional wire fee to my bank and after a week got this money back! Just like this! No explanations or communication attempt. I called, spoke with two very tired representatives that explained me they DON'T see ANY transactions that came from me, and if my wire was returned it means MY bank is the reason, so my wife Googled for reasons the wires come back and guess what? The wires come back ONLY if they are not accepted by the RECEIVING institution! I'm still trying to payoff this loan. I hope everyone will stay away from this bank and it's services.

      Due to pandemic related issues, I lost employment and went into the military to make ends meet. I requested forbearance protection and paid down most of my outstanding debt since I was making significantly less being in the military. I tried to come off of forbearance while I was on deployment but due to a lack of resources, I could not gather the documents so I got an extension on the coverage until I got back home. When I got back to the U.S., I resumed payments on time and tried again to come off of forbearance. I submitted my paperwork and they denied me. I requested state assistance (from *****) and submitted an appeal. They denied my appeal and I can only assume it was pending the results of my request from the state because the state offers to pay off the debt if they ***** you funds... which they didn't. Now the paperwork is expired so I had to redo it all and submit it again which once again got denied. I was told that as long as I continued to make my payments on time and pay extra when I can, that I should be fine so I did. Late last year I told them that I would be deploying again and I wanted my mother to be able to handle my account on my behalf, they said it would be fine and the person I talked to said they would make a not of it. IT WAS NOT fine obviously, because a month into my deployment my mother told me that they refused payment. I called and they told me my property was in foreclosure negotiations (which I never received a letter about) I told them that I was covered under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act but they claimed I wasn't. So I had to contact a military JAG Lawyer who told me that I AM covered and initiated contact with Flagstar on my behalf and they refuse to respond to her. I am still on my deployment and in addition to the mission, I have to worry about this c*** I'm just hoping that I have a home when I get back to the U.S.

      This bank bought out my mortgage (not my choice) and handled my servicing for a couple of years. In that limited amount of time, they managed to put my home insurance at risk of cancellation with their failures to make timely payments. If I hadn't acted extremely quickly when my insurance provider notified me of this bank's failures, the insurance would've been cancelled.Thankfully, they sold my loan to a different provider that is much more communicative, and their website user interface is more informative and much easier to navigate.

      This was recommended by my lender who I trusted, but I have had a horrible time trying to pay down my mortgage. The language is not clear, it is very hard to access someone my phone, their technology especially the app is complete trash - you cannot access your mortgage account or connect it to other banking sites. *** asked multiple times and received answers that theyre working on the app but it seems this is a lie. Every other *********** has a functioning app. Seriously considering switching - it makes me not trust them, especially reading other reviews here about shady instances.

      we have the worst experience with the mortgage company that was transferred from our previous company ( it was sold to them ), back in 10/2023 , a car crushed into our house while we were there, thankfully we survived but emotionally and mentally we are struggling a lot, our home insurance had helped us during this time, we are experience so much delays when it comes about getting the funds release from the mortgage company, we are aware that in order to do that we have to request an inspector as the work/ construction progress, but we believe that Safeguard ( the company who is in charge to set the inspections) clearly has not provide or process their inspections reports properly to Flagstar and because of that it caused a lot delays to pay our contractor, we had to call them pretty much everyday and we can not get one person to handle our case, everytime is a new person/ representative who clearly does not know how everything has been handled from the beginning, we are in so much distress thanks to Flagstar, we had uploaded all documents required by them, every single document that they needed its in our account and every time they speak to us they request something that they have on file, we are paying our mortgage monthly , on time not delays, on top of that we have to pay extra expenses because our homeinsurance policy already covered us for over a year, we explained this to Flagstar and they have zero symphaty with us, they always say a request might take between 5 to 7 bussiness days and we will advise you a resolution that might take another week like we have time to wait?, , we have spoken with so many representatives that some of them say something diferrent from the others, this bank wont cooperate at all, always giving us a hardtime when we need to pay our contractor , they have zero clue how much we are struggling . I would choose 0 they dont deserve a star, worst bank ever!!!!!!!!

      This Bank is always finding ways to charge you more. Very unethical. This time they send two payments Back to back to two different Insurances on the same year and they said they don't do that...
