Escrow waiver process is so slow it must be intentional and I'm considering seeking legal advice as it's just wrong. It takes 6-8 months to get my escrow money back after the initial request, and their communication occurs every 60 days via snail mail. **************** says I can email a signed form, then 60 days later they say it was never received. Then cust service says it must be snail mailed. There is never any confirmation; it's just snail mail every 60 days. After the first signed form is received, they tell me to sign another one, so two more months. Then after approval, it takes them 30 days to cut a check. They're holding thousands of my dollars due to this slow process and it's just ridiculous. Speed it up!Flagstar Bank

0 stars if I could. Our mortgage payment keeps going up as they drain our escrow account then charge ** which increases our mortgage payment. They already did the same thing in October. This is getting ridiculous and we cant sustain these constant increases. More than likely will have to put our house on the market as we cannot keep having our mortgage payment increasing.Flagstar Bank

FLAGSTAR brought my insurance from my previous company. It has been one thing after another. In September, I got a large refund from Escrow, but now they want it back- I guess they didn't take into consideration the taxes. Also, I called many, many, many times about my flood insurance, and they assured me I had one that Flagstar PAID- well, after many calls, I found out I didn't have any, so I had to pay for one out of pocket (when it is included on my Escrow). The information on the website is very poor and the calls are pleasant but the information is often incorrect.Flagstar Bank

Wouldn't even rate them one star. Absolutely horrific customer service, specifically *******. This representative laughed at me, raised her voice at me, spoke over me repeatedly, suggested I am a liar, and berated what she perceived to be a lack of understanding about how lending and fees work despite my prior work experience in a lending ***** at a financial institution. After all of her disrespect, she transfered my call to someone much more palatable who gave me the same information she did but actually in a professional manner. Still, he was unable to help me with any three of my requests (one of which being to set up auto pay). I was told that in order to do any of the three things I was calling for (after an hour on the phone speaking to three different representatives) I would have to send them communications via ***** Not only are they incredibly unprofessional, but extremely negligent with communication and very outdated. The process on Equity line, its little complicated you have to apply for the mortgage refinance and then the person who will call you from Flagstar bank will convert the application to equity line After that you are Credit approved you put in all the correct information you submit the paperwork somebody else will reach out to you and then applications go to the underwriter and even if you are Credit approved your application get decline i tried to explain the officer to to call me and have a conversation, but the officer did not care anymore, because the application was declined I was disappointed I cannot talk to nobody only via email Will not recommend this bankFlagstar Bank

I would give zero stars. This bank is completely unprofessional and has now screwed up my credit score and finances as they claim I have been past due with my mortgage payments. I have paid my mortgage payments on time every month and this bank claims I have not. They have horrible customer service. They claim they do not have my address on file for the property I have a mortgage loan under them. They will not let me correct their mistake of s******* up my credit.Flagstar Bank

This bank doesnt even deserve o e star. How can the way they treat customers even be allowed. I can see why they are not Accredited with the BBB. They are the most un professional bank I have ever worked with. We were court ordered through a divorce to work on assuming a mortgage. It is absolutely impossible to reach ANYONE in the ********************************** Emails go un answered. Accurate notes are not taken. It is a complete and udder nightmare to work with this bank. Our mortgage was sold to them and is now being sold to another never heard of bank. The assumption will never get completed. This bank should not be allowed to treat its customers with such disregard. Beware all that come in contact with this bank .Flagstar Bank

We have a HELOC with this company. They won't allow you to make principal only payments for most of the month. I only have 7 days each month to make a principal only payment. Flagstar Loans takes my autopayment on the 1st of the month and then they process my monthly bill on the 10th. They only allow principal only payments between the 2nd and 9th so I'm unable to pay towards my principal between the 10th through the 1st every month. They, however, charge daily interest on my principal balance while not allowing me to pay it down with extra payments during the month.Flagstar Bank

1 starFlagstar literally *LOST* my recorded modification agreement stating that I'd not turned it in [they had to "put a ticket in" every time I called because I gave them the return ***** number] until I filed with the **** where they suddenly found it.Then because of all of the stalling I suddenly lost my ***** protections and now two years after filling out application after application and paperwork, they're denying me for any options and saying I need to pay $37k or go into Foreclosure.Not once during the ***** Modification process did I get a denial.
