      DO NOT sign up for any services with ONSTAR. Find a better alternative.DO NOT give them your credit card number -- ever.

      Onstar makes promises they do not keep. Was told I would get a refund to upgrade never got the refund. Then tried to cancel service but was told I could not get the $200 back for prepaid data. When this expires I will never do business with Onstar again

      I called to cancel my service because I had traded in my car and no longer needed onstar. Upon canceling it , I was charged 34 dollars. I didn't owe any money because I was paid up through the 4th of October. When I called to see why I was charged no one could give me an answer. No I'm stuck with overdraft fees that I should have never been charged. This is the 3rd time this has happened that I have been charged with no explainations.

      They signed me up for a trial membership and promised they wouldnt charge my credit card unless I have permission at the end of the trial. They ended up charging my credit card and told me what I was told isnt true. So basically they lied to me just to get my credit card. Onstar isnt something I would ever pay for. Watch out and dont let them talk you into it.

      After dropping my kids off at school I went to restart my car and it would not start. Called Onstar to get Roadside assistance this started at 830 in the morning. The first tow truck company came, great guy, but didn't have the right kind of tow truck. Caller Onstar back just so I could push ****** buttons to get to someone who would inevitably place me back on an 8 minute hold to locate a tow company. By now it was 11am. We were told 88 minutes for that tow company so we grabbed lunch ran a few errands and we were told to assure that we were at the vehicle because if we were not we would be liable for damages. 88 minutes later we sat in the parking lot awaiting the arrival of the tow truck only to accept that 40 minutes later no one was coming. Called Onstar back another ******* buttons to get to someone who then booked 3 companies at once. All three called us however they forgot to inform them that we needed a wheel dolly which had been the problem with the very first tow since my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe won't go in neutral. Needless to say it is now 340pm my car still hasn't been towed. None of the tow companies seem to know when they call that they need a wheel dolly. An entire day is wasted that my car could be in service while a hurricane is on its way. Thank you Onstar for placing my family at risk this week. You are absolutely the worst.

      We had Onstar with our vehicle. We noticed we were being charged for the service, no biggie since we still had the vehicle. We just got rid of the vehicle and contacted them to cancel our service since they had JUST charged us $15. We contacted them and we were told they could only give us $2 back. Thats absolutely insane to me and Ill never get Onstar with another vehicle again.

      We traded in our vehicle 2 months after paying for a full year of service, when I called to transfer the account, I was told the new owner of the vehicle had canceled it and they had issued a refund on June 20th. They had me set up an entire new account with new charges, and then I asked for verification since I had not seen a refund, and had not been contacted that my service was terminated. Billing told me that they had issued a credit which meant it could be used to to transfer the account to my new vehicle, I told them that they would not do that and said a refund had all ready been refunded. After an hour on the phone July 11th, and telling them I had my account pulled u and nothing had been refunded and threatened to report them for fraud, they finally issued my refund, but then she tried to charge me again for the new account. I told her she was not to do anything but to refund my $.....we will see what I get charged.

      OnStar review,I have had my 2021 Sierra ***** or almost a year and have had Onstar for the same length of time. my ***** was broken into, they smashed the windows and took everything that was inside. I called Onstar to find out why i was not notified about the break in as i pay for theft protection and this is what they lady said......sorry mame but a broken window is not covered as part of the break in of your *****..... i was so mad I asked what is considered a break in she said.....if they break the handles to gain entry, this is so unbelievable and I am so mad, then she says.....i am sorry this happen to you so here we will give you next month free.....so done with Onstar!!!!

      I had onstar for 3 free months when I first bought my vehicle in 2018. I made the mistake and gave them my card number. After 2 years of them continually withdrawing from my acct. And me continually calling them to stop withdrawing money I called them and demanded to reimburse me for non authorized withdrawals. The man I spoke with was very nice he contacted the billing **** and they were no help the agent told me that billing at onstar told him to hang up the phone on me. I asked to speak with them they wouldnt talk with me he said. So this agent put a case together of my complaint due to the billing **** telling the agent they wouldnt put a case together. The case is for anymore reimbursements over 3 months. He said I was absolutely in the right and onstar was in the wrong. I will see where this case goes. if nowhere I will be contacting my state attorney generals office. I know for a fact they will solve it because this happened to me before with another company and the attorney generals office had my money back to me in 3 weeks after I filed a fraudulent claim. Never choose onstar its a scam after your free trial is up they will not cancel it even if they say they did.

      They erroneously billed me double, and despite 4 phone calls and 3 emails showing proof, I was never contacted back. I had to file a stop payment with my bank. Absolutely terrible customer service. They are thieves.
